The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Taking the 744F (Singapore Cargo) from Anchorage to ZBAA, Was just blown away at this sight as I panned to the right and caught the perfect combination of environmental settings and time of day (dawn). Doesn't hurt that the frame is one of the best looking cockpits there is. 🙂 ASN, ASCA, ENVTEX default settings, etc Enjoy the view. (I know Brian, you see this all the time for real.😜..yes you have the best office view!)

Love flying out of Bend, I stayed in Bend in 2013 and drove atop a small mountain on a spiral road to a city overlook that overlooks some of the Cascade volcanoes in these screenshots. From Bend I drove across the Cascades to Salem, where I stayed so I could visit Silver Falls State Park with its lovely hidden waterfalls, and I used Salem as a base to drive to Olympic Park in Washington the next day, though I did not quite make it back to my hotel there, I had to rent another room just over the border from Portland, in Washington, because I felt too tired to drive on and I did not want to drive impaired thus. The Cascades are a beautiful piece of America, my lovely ex w…

When I land on a runway, taxi to the gate, shut down the engines, let the pax off, and directly head to the crew-bus for the hotel (or the "call-for-dinner" as the case maybe)....🙂...I realize I'm missing the sights and sounds within the Airport (especially if it is a PW Airport). For example, I recall seeing a flock of white birds flying across my windshield while taking off a seaplane-base, or a butterfly appearing near the window of my Cub at a dirt-strip, or a little girl skipping on the ground while waiting to board the aircraft. These are refreshing moments. Here, I've picked the FW Orbx Airports..(actually they are not free, they require the base Orbx Region as pre…

As I promised myself, I installed the PMDG MD-11 from my Depository, and set up a (test-flight) - over the just acquired MSE (Utah) - from KCDC (Cedar City) to KSLC (Salt Lake City). Things worked out fine (no complaints from either FSX-SE or this old-gold simulation), but I do need a couple of more practice-flights to remove the remaining wrinkles for flying this amazing aircraft simulation properly. This was a bit exhaustive, but rewarding! The recollections from my KLM MD-11 flight many years ago, where this "solid" aircraft pulled through so admirably in the face of intensive and persistent turbulence at 35K over mid-Atlantic, pushed me on with this exercise today. Me…

Braniff Airways was remarkable in many ways. During its long existence (1928 to 1982), it operated an amazing range of aircraft: from Lockheed Vega all the way to the Aerospatiale-BAC Concorde. It also introduced dramatic colors on many of its aircraft (referred to as the Jellybean fleet). Here is Jellybean (Red) Boeing 727 flying the route from KASE (Aspen) to Denver (KDEN) at dawn. Instead of the (AS) CRJ's (advanced) glass cockpit previously used on the same route, this time it is the vintage steam-gauged Boeing 727 cockpit. However, thanks to HaraldG,...🙂...who suggested that the B727 be equipped with INS navigational equipment, it is fitted with a (custom) CIVA …

The NA Pacific Fjords is the least-explored of my Orbx regions. Here are a few (dusk) screenshots of the classic B737-200 flying in this beautiful part of the world...taking off from Bella Coola (CYBD) airport, tracking the waterways amidst the mountains towards the coastal airport of Bella Bella (Campbell Island) CAF2. I've chosen a not so well-known but fun-looking Casino Express livery (actually now a charter airline, Xtra Airways, Florida, with the company slogan, "Beyond what is expected")... [@HaraldG: Harald, I tried adding CIVA INS to it, but without access. Apparently, the INS used to work on the earlier versions of this CS aircraft, but their latest version…
