The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Today, I got to extract the LVLD -767 installer from F1 (thanks to the multiple ways, F1 lets you recover your past purchases, mine was nearly 4-years old!). Then, I installed it on FSX-SE, and flew a test-flight (KPDX to KHQM) - all done B2B without running into any issues...always a bit of worry about dated SIMs, but the (old-gold - fs9 origin) LVLD-767 proved its merit. I fondly remember LVLD-767 as the SIM, that for the 1st time, made me realize that there is hope in our SIM that an airliner simulation can be "reasonably" approximated (before that the default B737-800 was, pretty-much, the high-point of my airliner simulation experience). Of course, now, we have advan…

Hey guys So, after a month or so of a bit more tweaking, I'm finally able to say that I'm very happy with how my P3Dv4 looks and feels. Now, I only have to wait for the Aerosoft A320 to be available for P3Dv4 and I'll be very happy 😁 Anyways, time for a bit more flying, on the PMDG 737 again, on Virgin Australia Flight 908 from Brisbane to Sydney. Pushback Taxiing to Brisbane's Runway 19 Waiting for QF16 from LAX to burn some rubber Up and away, tight left coming up! Cruising fase And after an hour or so, we begin our descent towards Sydney's runway 16L Hey down…

Hi, just a landing in Pipishegyi, one of my favourite GA fields, with my favourite GA plane. (Pipishegyi freeware scenery by Tamas and Peter Szabo. Pipishegyi is a small grass field situated on a mountain ridge in the Matra range in Northern Hungary.) Have fun! Regards, Harald

I'm wrapping up my fascination with the Antonov family of aircraft with the on-ground shots below of a few selected variants (AN-2/AN-12/AN-14/AN-24/AN-32/AN-74/AN-140/AN-148/AN-124 - in that order - BTW, AN-124 looks like the younger sibling of AN-225). The aircraft in this collection are all flyable, but I have not flown them. This list is obviously not exhaustive. If you wish, please refer to the Antonov (Wiki) to see the extensive and impressive range of aircraft that came out of the Antonov Design Bureau.

Still getting money's worth out of this one. Most of these screens were captured over eastern France on the way to Dusseldorf.

The Antonov Design Bureau is a fascinating aircraft manufacturer. From the tiny An-2 to the gigantic An-225, it has an incredible range of aircraft in between. And, as for An-225, there is only one such Antonov called An-225 Mriya. By most metrics, it's the largest and heaviest operating aircraft in the world! Here below are a few screenshots of the An-225 in a fictional (camouflage) livery flying the virtual skies on a short trip from Geneva to Zurich. Thanks for viewing the images of this one-of-a-kind of aircraft. [Thomas Ruth(FW)/MSE/REX]

I got to test the 900 for the 1st time (my only 2nd flight with the CRJ). From Cold & Dark at PAVD to Touch-Down at PAEN was bit time intensive, but very satisfying (need to find time to do more)! This also let me fly over some of the most scenic parts of central Alaska a bit more. This flight runs from Valdez Pioneer (DIR-TO Anchorage VOR) and then to Kenai city located on the very western edge of Alaska. In real, this region is noted to be filled with amazing glaciers/mountains/waterfalls etc. and there's no direct roadway - as the crow flies - (due to the extreme ruggedness). Thanks for viewing.
