The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Had a Big Cleanout, and came across these in a folder. They would've been made in the early days of MSFS2004: ACOF. I printed them on glossy 8x4 photopaper and liked the result (obviously - why I kept them) I thought they have aged quite well!

Hi, some more pictures from GA flying with the Bonanza in Hungary. After resting in Pipishegyi, I continued to Bony, a small agricultural field in northwestern Hungary near Györ. Taxiing at Pipishegyi; there's hardly an airfield situated as scenic as this: Turning in front of the Matrai power plant (not that scenic). Arriving over Budapest At port side below there's the venerable Budaörs airfield: A last view to Budapest: Continuing the journey along Danube valley: On final at Bony: Just landed: Secured: Last picture in the setting sun: …

Gents, With the pending release of a new Brussels scenery,i thought it was time to reposition myself a bit closer,so we can start full service when the scenery hits the store. So what better way to do this then take my Citybird 737-800 from Geneva to Ostend. Here she is...our Nightingale, resting at Geneva... Paperwork has been filled and filed, ready to start boarding! After a 5 min wait for that last passenger,we hit the clock and start our pushback out of Gate 5. Rwy22 in use today, which gives us a nice background... Final checks completed!Time to hit the road and get airborne! 😎 While keeping a watchfull …

I re-installed my Cessna Mustang from the Flight1 website, and conducted a flight. Please note this is a re-install of the Flight1 Version 1.11, but not the updated Version 2 that is also made compatible with P3DV4. I had almost forgotten about this old aircraft order - probably one of my very 1st purchases from F1- (but thanks to a recent tip-off via one of Ryan's posts here), I got to re-activate my KEY today and fly this (decent, although a bit dated) plane again - after many years. Cessna's Mustang production is noted to have ended last year due to lack of customer demand, ironically due to competition from within Cessna's own (faster and larger) Citation M2 Jet. Here…

For our third leg, we will cross the Nile again westwards for a short hop to the Giza Pyramid Complex. Then we head east to the Suez Canal, cross the Sinai Peninsula in order to reach Aqaba and the Wadi Rum. The ancient city of Petra is just 100 km (60 miles) north of it. From there we’ll fly further north to the Dead Sea, Tel Aviv and Haifa, where this leg of our tour will end. The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Pyramid Complex. Built over a 10- to 20-year period, it was finished around 2560 BC. Initially at 146.5 meters (481 feet), it was the tallest man-made stru…

I'd picked up SEQU from AS Airport SALE, and tried it today. This (old) Quito airport was permanently closed in 2013 (had been in operation since 1960). It had to be closed due to many risks such as (a) being one of the highest-elevation airports in the world, it already has high-altitude operation risk (b) surrounded by enormous (volcanic) mountains requiring very steep angle of approach (c) inability to handle increased traffic volume, and (d) located in the middle of a dense city. There were several notable accidents prior to its closure. As I was checking the precincts of this historic airport on a personal tour, frankly, the eerie silence was a bit overwhelming …

I decided to play around Redding , CA, with some new cloud textures. I'm still getting the hang of this but some turned out quite realistic! I'm not a huge fan of the nuclear sun above the layers but I'll work that out! So now that I have my improved template for the 74 I decided its time to revisit my Prime Air repaint. Its about time anyways. There are planes with winglets flying now so I have an idea of what Amazon was planning for the winglets. So here we go with a couple shots I put together this morning. Any inputs? List of changes: Weathering (Lots and lots and lots of it) Logo is bigger Tail number has been changed to reflect a Prime number. I have plans for tail numbers for the BCF and the -8 I'll be doing. There is an alignment issue that needs to be addressed because of the A/C inlet scoops.

From Haifa we will head north into Lebanon, many years ago known as the Switzerland of the Middle East. Then we cross the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea and reach Cyprus, where we plan a short stopover in Pafos. The next island to cross will be Rhodes, before we fly along the eastern shores of the Peloponnese peninsula on our way to today’s final stop: Athens. Lebanon has a great hinterland with a mountain range that extends almost the entire length of Lebanon, paralleling the Mediterranean coast for about 240 km (150 mi), with northern outliers going as far as Syria Their highest peak (not visible here) is “Qurnat as Saw…

For a change, lately, I have been thinking of getting to a couple of my turboprop simulations. Of course, MJC8 Q400 probably ranks at the very top at this time (coincidentally, I just got to see Ryan's wonderful post on the Q400). But, long before I came to know of MJC8 Q400, I have had very fond memories of the PMDG JS41 as being the pioneer and the trend-setter that set the standards of authentic simulation for a turboprop aircraft. After a nearly 4-years break from my last flight with it, today, I got to re-install and fly this aircraft. The process was a bit challenging and time-taking (with "forgotten" peculiarities of many kinds - this is a touchy aircraft for sure)…

I guess everyone is too busy flying her to post some pics, LOL. Here are a few on my 1st flight, KSFO to KDFW. Checking her out just before departure (I added the Joe Sutter and 45 years logos...the Cargolux included in the package is a different reg). Getting ready for pushback.... In flight, on my way to Dallas. Reviewing the STAR on the FO's EFB (in night mode...I like the view better)...I'm doing the MDANO Transition.
