The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Ortho4XP allows you to lay autogen over photoreal scenery in Xplane11, something that cannot be done in P3DV4. I am on the fence about whether I like this, because the autogen tends to hide some of the photoscenery at altitude, not sure what I prefer, but I thought I would post. The autogen overlay can be removed if I wish. John

The Tupolev company has been a major aircraft manufacturing company (most of its aircraft were produced for the (former) USSR and the Eastern Bloc). Tupolev is also noted to have a rather curious connection with the famous German aircraft pioneer Hugo Junkers, who founded a clandestine aircraft factory in the suburbs of Moscow in 1922 (to evade the terms of the Versailles Treaty). This start-up company was then turned over to the able hands of Andrei Tupolev in 1925. Tupolev carried forward the innovative (all-metal duralumin-skin) design approach of Junkers defining the subsequent trends of heavy-aircraft development. Unfortunately, Tupolev aircraft (and the Tu-154 varia…

Hi fellow pilots AC8671 : 86 nm between Montreal and Ottawa, this is just about 20 mn in the air @FL120. I dont know if there is any shortest CRJ regular flight ? Anyway, perfect to getting used to flying this aircraft, managing the intensive workload from pre flight checks to shutdown. Short flight = few images. Here are 4 to summarize the mood of this cold, snowy flight.

Of course this aircraft is right up my alley... so here's a flight from Port Angeles KCLM to Quillayute KUIL. Leaving CLM was mostly lower-ish vis (but still VFR) and I climbed to 16,500 to top the weather... but also had troubles finding holes on the way down to maintain VFR. I would have rather shot an approach but UIL does not have one. This thing has very well done systems including SVS in the G1000 - it's freaking amazing! Two shots from the tail end of my CYBW-CYQL flight in the TBM900, taking a scenic detour west of the shortest route to get a better view of the Rockies. These shots are near Waterton National Park heading toward Lethbridge. XP11 sure is pretty at Dawn/Dusk/Night.

Hi gents! Since i was in the market for a new GA,i decided to surf the world wide web and stumbled upon this nice little Piper Archer III.Paperwork and frame seemed A-O-K but the downside is that it is located in Sweden,Göteborg-Landvetter Airport.Nevertheless,i head out there and not soon after,i get to see her in real and it's love at first sight! With a glimpse inside,we see that she is well equiped and well maintained. So no need to further tackle the price, get that VISA out and pay the man!Now we only need to bring her to Belgium to get her Belgian registration and colors. The plan is to depart ESGG to Billund,Denmark, then head out to Hamburg,…

vFlytAir's LSA out of Willcox, Arizona.... This is a fun aircraft to fly if you like light general aviation, VFR flyers. The Ikarus LSA is a great Rotax 912 powered aircraft with a fabric wing. I flew an XAir H LSA out of Willcox in the last decade, in real life, an enjoyable flight over the high desert of Arizona. John
