The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Releasing this one tomorrow. Added a lot of details, gave her some wear in the tail and APU area. Here she is on a dawn test flight...tail again, with the logo light on. Here is the nose....landing light splashes of course Airborne....just love this angle and lighting A view from the wing... And the other side.... I added grime around the cargo doors where ground crew would be handling the access panel and such.... And the ring the jetways leave on the L1 and L2 doors. I also used a paint method to enhance the 3d look of the blanked windows...I think it looks better than just the bump map k…

Hope you'll enjoy a bit of Lockheed history and nostalgia. Today, only for the 2nd time each, I was flying the two classic large airliners (the CS L-1011 and the PMDG MD-11) on FSX-SE. MD-11 and L-1011 remain two of my favorite airliners in SIM, for both of which I had earlier provided posts of my 1st flights with them in SE. It all made me wonder a bit that from the tiny Lockheed Vega to the gigantic L-1649 Constellation, Lockheed has manufactured an amazing range of aircraft. And, for our simulation, there are many Lockheed aircraft to fly (FW/PW - civil/military). As for Civil Air Transportation, however, below is the complete Lockheed list according to Wiki. So, pleas…

Misc shots over California and out of Pueblo Colorado in the Citation 550. The California photoreal is MSE, the Colorado Photoreal is my own scenery, made with FSEarthtiles, and found here at Avsim in our file library (eight downloads in all). John

This is one of my favorite real life routes which I love to fly in P3DV4 over MSE's photoreal scenery and in Xplane11 over its default scenery, mesh landclass and autogen. Both sims are so nice for this flight, in P3DV4 I prefer the Citation 550 and in Xplane11 the Aerobask Eclipse or default Cessna if I want a slower, more scenic flight below the mountain peaks. The final into San Diego is breathtaking, right by downtown (it is quoted you can see the hotel maids doing laundry on your final if you have a window seat--on the floors above you). I last flew into San Diego in real life back in the 90's when I was asked to do some marketing and accounting training for the d…

Glad to have these two sims finally installed and operable in my FSX-SE after their last use several years ago in FSX. Performed two short flights with these aircraft, starting cold & dark in each case. It took me a rather long time to get the start-up procedures figured out...(please excuse my (slow) re-learning curve!). Eventually, it all worked out fine without any mishaps! I just need to find more time for repeat flights with these excellent aircraft. For these test-flights, I have chosen a couple of random liveries here. These two connecting flights (one at dawn and one at dusk) go across Northern Spain (from Pamplona (LEPP) to Santander (LEXJ)) and then (from Sa…

I was looking through my FW (FSX) aircraft. Here is a collection of 10 that I would remind myself to fly periodically. I took them to the air, for a couple of minutes on each, for the below screenshots. If you wish, for a bit of fun, you could try to guess, but the names appear after the last image. Thanks for viewing and good rest of the Sunday! The planes are as follows, in the order they appear (from top to bottom): Emb-120, B-T45C, HS-748, PC-6, DHC-7, C-47, Aerospace-Fletcher, Avia-57, Ju-52, Beech-D18S
