The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just upgraded MegaScenery Oregon, Wash State and some other MSE sceneries to the latest and greatest so just a shot of the approach into KSEA (SeattleX). The photoscenery is awesome with FPS into the 80's.

Shalom and greetings all my pals, Presenting a darn pretty New Year Day flight from PAUN Unalakleet Airport located one nautical mile north of the central business district of Unalakleet, Alaska to PAOM Nome Airport located two nautical miles west of the central business district of Nome, Alaska. Boarding the plane in sub zero freezing weather on New Year Day Sitting in captain seat doing pre-flight check list while cockpit window shows the view of truck belonging to Jim Tweto that a new rookie Era airline pilot accidentallly broke the driver door by opening it in powerful winds that damaged the door You can see Jim Tweto's pri…

Here are some paints I did for the wonderful Xtreme Prototypes Lear 25d v2.1. First is a similar paint to a real world livery. The blue is done in metal flake seen only in bright sunlight on highlighted areas. Click on pic for larger image :) PM me if you want this livery.

A nice flight from my current hometown to another hometown I lived in from the 60's to the 90's, prior to that Burbank and Chicago and a small spell near Washington DC, Gaithersburg MD. I love this route, it takes off to the Northwest, crosses the Colorado river between Lake Havasu City and Laughlin, then on out of my Photo scenery, flying over Death Valley, Owens Valley, Crossing the Sierras near Yosemite and passing Fresno, then finally back into my SF Bay photo scenery for Napa, a wonderful variety of landscape changes for the short two hour real time flight. Took the Carenado FA50 from KHQM to PAJN using the FMS. (Mostly worked as expected...) Went into the Juneau MRO and retrofitted a GTN750. Repaint by Matt Levi, (Thank You) Please note that the GTN integration is still a work in progress, there is much to be done and I'm back at work. IMHO not ready to share yet. This is the return "test" flight back to Bowerman. (Some switches/settings are not by the book as I had to reload several times) Unfortunately the linked pics are not hi res. These are http://www.mediafire.com/folder/3gr9n9cgcwrlp/FA50_PAJN-KHQM_GTN Taxi OUT (Heavy for such a short flight ~800 NM) Getting ready for TO, awai…

Hey guys, in my last post I noted how I was routing to TOJAM in a previous flight. Well now I'm creating a flight and dropping the route into the GTN 750, and when I get to the leg on UJ24 where I need to hop off (sadly its TEQ and not the top selection)....here is what I'm presented with... Flying from Puerto Vallarta to San Salvador using SimBrief routing, it gave me this route and when you load airways in the GTN 750, it lists all the waypoints along that airway. Had I been flying an airliner (like I normally do) I would have never seen this interesting waypoint...strange coincidence. 🙂 Here is the routing in case you're interested in recreating th…

A short flight from Aspen (KASE) to Leadville (KLXV), which is is North America's highest public use airport at an altitude of 9.934 feet. Departing Aspen - already a high altitude airport at 7.837 ft. Following Roaring Fork River on our way to Independence Pass. Make sure to take all the right valleys 😉 Independence Pass (12.093 ft) brings non turbocharged pistons near to their service ceiling. Twin Lakes come into view. Left and right is really high terrain with a couple of 14'ers. Turning north at Twin Lakes On the approac…

PBR means more than a cheap beer brand now (or the Professional Bull Riders). 🤣 For flightsimmers running P3dV4.4, it means metal and reflections like you've never seen before! Screaming outta' KSFO....the metal is....😲. Working on this re-do of my original AA textures with the new PBR model, soon to be released by Leonardo. The new updated model is slated for this weekend, this paint shortly after that.
