Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Nothing is more breathtaking than the high desert of Utah and an overflight of the Grand Canyon. I once helicoptered into the Grand Canyon from Vegas, on an excursion I purchased.... First pic is my Xplane Ortho coverage as it stands now.... John

Not often shared in this forum, scenery of Provo and the surrounding area and the beautiful Wasatch range in Utah. I flew the cousin of the Eurofox, the Kitfox, over this area in 2006 or 2007. But the Kitfox struggled to climb, even with a Rotax 912, due to the high altitude. However we were able to climb and our altitude was about the same as these screenshots. We did not fly from Provo, we flew from Spanish Fork since it was an uncontrolled airfield with little traffic nearby. In the distance on that flight we did see some air force traffic to our North... Spanish Fork airport is in the first picture, in this sim flight I took off from Provo and landed at Spanish …

Ok so I've been flying P3d with Orbx NA for the past year and had FSX:SE but didn't use it since my upgrade and when I originally bought the SE it came bundled with Active Sky Next, Rex4. Because of the Steam sale I decided to load with everything maxed out to see how it was and I was stunned at what I saw and how smooth it was. Since I can use Orbx, ChasePlane and GTN750 in P3d and FSX, I have to say that I was amazed at how good this looks. This is not the True Earth, this is just Global Base and Global Vector and it's even better in openLC areas or NA Regions.

Speedbird is the time-honored Callsign for British Airways. The associated Speedbird emblem (the famous black bird in flight logo) which first appeared on their aircraft in 1932, and survived though the many transitions (Imperial Airways->BOAC->British European Airways->British Airways) for 52 years, has been however finally retired in 1984 - but, it does appear in the (older) livery I had to use here in this post. And, regarding this story, many of us would remember this incident when the British Airways 747 (Flight 009) on a scheduled run from London to Auckland, on 24 June 1982, got stricken (and crippled) by the (invisible) volcanic ash thrown up by erupting …

I love Carenado's Shorts aircraft, I have flown on this aircraft and what I loved the most were the wide windows, letting the light in, when I flew it between OHare and Springfield IL and back way back in 1990. The Shorts has also seen service in California, out of Santa Rosa's airport. I decided to fly a nice route, out of South Lake Tahoe to SFO. Rarely does it happen, I had AI on approach on the runway to my right into SFO, you can see it in one of these screenshots, I love SFO's dual approaches and in real life I often saw aircraft to my right or left coming in on approach to 28L or 28R. I feel SFO has one of the most breathtaking approaches, since in normal wind …

Then I thought about driving to the airport, picking up my Eurofox, and flying over Meteor Crater. Easy to find, take off out of Winslow, head due west or slightly south of it. You cannot see it coming unless you climb to about 4000 feet AGL or so John

The Eclipse and well modeled Light Sport Eurofox, Xplane11 used to have few add-ons compared to my bounty in P3DV4 but now I've almost matched my add-on count in both sims, which gives me a neverending set of new flights to plan. My Xplane11 Orthoscenery runs from Carlsbad New Mexico and South along the Mexico/American border up into all of Arizona, parts of Texas, Nevada, and two thirds of California. Ran out of drive space for now, until I shuffle some things to my C drive. It is just nice to have hours upon hours of scenery available, at any speed. John

Having fun creating my own lighting for my GA fleet....The CJ got a new cockpit lighting makeover.... I turned the lighting up for the pic...I fly with it much darker...really adds to the immersion at night. And while I was at it...I really disliked that Carenado didn't offer a vanity light (I call it...some call it a logo light, hehe). So....I added one (took 4 bulbs but I think the effect is awesome when you switch to external view at night). 2 bulbs to simulate the light source in the horz. stab. Just need to paint in the lights on the texture map and it'll look even more realistic. Probably do the cabin lighting next. 🙂

Commercial travel is nice and all (not).....but when you have a Falcon 50 to carry you wherever you want to go....you can find it in yourself to give up that bag of peanuts, cattle car seating and TSA lines. 🙂 I'm at the Signature Jet Center at KTPA, prepping my F50 for a trip to Cancun....hoping those poor souls on that tubliner have a flight only slightly better than excruciating .
