The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Did a quick repaint of the GAS Boeing Stearman depicting one of the aircraft which features in what is perhaps my favourite flying sequence from a movie. The real thing was piloted for the filming of that sequence, by legendary movie stunt flyer, Frank Tallman. Well done if you recognised the aeroplane and were able to identify the movie. For some extra kudos points, name the year the movie came out and name as many actors who appear in the movie as you can. For some extra-extra aviation kudos points, how many other aircraft types, which also feature in that same movie, can you name?

The TBM is one fast lady....but sadly she can't beat a jet. 😞 You can see in the RXP GTN 750 I set one of my user fields to ground speed (love the customizable user fields...in fact love everything about the RXP GTN!) so you can see I'm trackin' 283 kts over the ground even with almost a direct 24kt headwind. You can also see the traffic diamond of that sneaky jet 2000 ft above that pulled up behind me on the same basic route to KDAL. She overtook me...but I was sippin' fuel vs her hungry jet engines! I'm replicating one of Steve'o's latest YouTube vids from Miami to Dallas. In this video, even though it was crappy weather, he flew over Addison Airpor…

The Regional Jets are always fascinating, fulfilling the critical needs in the Hub-and-Spoke Model of air-travel used by many airlines, and the CRJs from Bombardier have been rather successful. Bombardier, in the past, had considered but shelved an (entirely) new Expansion Model of the CRJ in favor of stretching the CRJ line (e.g. to the 1000 variant). However, after much deliberations, in 2009, Bombardier officially launched the CSeries Jets (with fuel-efficient Pratt & Whitney Engines, high-proportion composite materials, and Rockwell Collins Pro-Line Avionics etc.) - with seating (108-160), compared to (97-104) for the CRJ-1000. In 2017, Airbus and Bombardier annou…
