The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I have always found the 767 to be an interesting aircraft. This aircraft is still being produced (1981-Present). In 2018, as of Nov. 30, there were 1243 orders and 1122 deliveries. The last (SIM) flight I did with a 767, was with the LVLD 767 several months ago (for which I'd provided a post earlier). I'm now testing, for the 1st time on FSX-SE, the Captain Sim 767-300 here. 767 was a unique step forward for Boeing. It was Boeing's first wide-body twinjet and its first airliner with a two-crew glass cockpit. The 767 became the first twin-engined airliner to be used on extended overseas flights in 1985. In the mid-1980s, the 767 spearheaded the growth of twinjet fligh…

  2. LoL....the names of some fixes can really crack you up. 🤣 Who doesn't like a little toe jam right after departure? Just outta Eagle County (KEGE), on my way to Seattle. Flanking shot of my CJ2 and some beautiful mountains. (Changed the color of the default N68FF because it's the company CFO's favorite) 😉

  5. Weather is perfect for shooting approaches at KRYY. Just above minimums. I've been sitting here for almost two hours flying my Alabeo M20 and my wife thinks I'm crazy!

Hello, 2019! May be, a great year for all of us!

  10. San Diego...with Spirit Airlines, the budget side of life! Scenery could be better (Orbx Stockholm is superior) but is not up to FlyTampa, Flightbeam and now Aerosoft (Koln-Bonn) standards. Thanks for viewing, Darryl

Hello, as John (Cactus521) has already stated, HLJames has not posted his wonderful photoreal pictures since a couple of months. I want to second John. I took the chance to search for his topics and was again overwhelmed from the beautyness and diversity of the landscapes. I adore his eye for the right motifs, perspectives and attractiv regions. And I admire his amount of time to plan the routes, to fullfill the enjoyable flight, to catch the screenshots and especially to do all this work to share them here on AvSim. He must have a very good knowledge from our planet to find these interesting routes again and again. So I hope he is well and only takes a…

Just leased a 747-8 for my AH2 fleet, so it has a temporary Atlantic Bridge livery at the moment whilst I fly it around a bit and check it out on various routes to see if it works for my airline in terms of suitability, if it does, it'll get a more permanent paint job:

In 2014, Amelia"Rose" Earhart, a Private Pilot, from Denver, Colorado, completed a circumnavigation of the globe with her co-pilot Shane Jordan. She accomplished this remarkable feat in a single-engine PC-12. Please note, she is no relation to the original Amelia "Mary" Earhart, but her mother just happened to give her this name. She was a former TV traffic/weather reporter in Denver. Having got tired of the question, "Are you a pilot yet?", she started learning to fly at the age of 21, and obtained her private pilot license in a Cessna 172. In 2012, she fulfilled her instrument training hours in a Cirrus SR22, and then, in 2014, at the age of 31, embarked on her global f…

Enjoying this nice single engine aircraft for Xplane11, one of five aircraft add-ons I have for Xplane11 from various payware vendors, my most recent addition to my Xplane11 aircraft. I have always loved the look of the 177, looks very contemporary, even nearly 50 years after it first came into existence. More roomy in the backseat than the 172, I almost bought one years ago but I did not have a pilots license and decided not to leap before I looked, so to speak. Took me 30 more years before I could get my first flight lessons after seeing the 177. The Xplane version of Alabeo's 177 includes an autopilot, which their P3D version does not have. John
