The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I made the photo scenery, my Colorado scenery here in Avsim's library if you can endure eight separate downloads for FSX or P3D4.4 (can't vouch for other versions of P3D since I never had 'em) I thought I had lost the Duke, it was not found when I tried to start this flight earlier, but a visit to the Legacy page allowed me to reinstall it. It is my favorite Piston twin followed by the Cessna 421 and Cessna 310, and finally the newer Diamond DA62 and DA42. My fav piston twin tprops are the Cessna Conquest and RealAir tprop conversion, but I do not fly them often, I like the turboprop niche (and I forgot to include the workhorse B200), but I usually like piston twin…

Shaom and greetings all my pals, Allow me to present very exclusive review of freeware FSX Port-over de Havilland Dash 7 year model base designed by Milton Shupe, panel by Scott Thomas, textures by Mike Kelly, flight models by Bernt Stolle and Tom Falley, and sounds by Nigel Richards using the flight from BIAR Akureyri Airport located 1.9 miles south of the town center of Akureyri, Iceland to BIRK Reykjavík Airport located 1.2 miles from from the city centre of Reykjavík which the capital of Iceland. Many thanks to the famous Dash 7 model base inventor Milton Shupe for giving me plenty of assistance and advice how to prepare my first flight within Iceland abr…

All aircraft have a life much as humans - with roles and responsibilities, good times and bad times, incidents and accidents etc. Here is (good old) B-17G Flying Fortress (S/N #44-8543) nicknamed "Chuckie" being re-visited here via a test-flight in the virtual skies. B-17, being one of the most beautiful bombers ever created (feels strange to say: "beauty" and "bomber" in the same sentence, but it's indeed appropriate for B-17!), there are probably multiple postings of this famous aircraft in the various forums, but, I guess, things of beauty (especially those held in high regard) can be surely enjoyed again without loss of charm. I found this (A2A) gem lying un-used in m…

In aviation, we've sometimes heard of the saying, "There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots, but there are no old, bold pilots.” This observation is attributed to E. Hamilton Lee, one of the most remarkable pilots to come out of the U.S. Air Mail Service, itself, a fascinating segment of early aviation history in America. Aviator (and author/philosopher) Saint-Exupery's short life (he died at the age of 44), replete with tales of adventure and courage, unfortunately fell into this above maxim. But, his intrepid life (often plagued by accident-related injuries) was remarkable in many respects. He was a dreamer who wrote poems and novels, was obsessed with avia…

Hey guys! God I love it when I see good results from all the tinkering I do to my P3Dv4. A bit of PTA, some changes on the antialiasing and bingo! A satisfied user and a smooth flying experience! So, to try everything up, I fired up the PMDG Triple Seven to do Singapore Airlines' Flight 238 from ORBX Melbourne Intl' to Imaginesim Changi Intl'. I have some questions though, but first, some pics! Different colors as we taxi to 34 Careful with that tail! Climb and cruise Approaching WSSS Runway 2C. Hello down there! Welcome to a rather cloudy Singapore …

Following on from my previous post (here), we're in Bogota and about to take an Avianca A319 down to Santiago. From there we'll make our way across the South Pacific to Auckland... then I was a bit impulsive. Parked in Bogota, high ground visible in the background and quite a bit of unstable air around... and no jetways (I've no idea?) A whole bunch of older, more interesting AI in South America, here, an Aerosucre 727, don't see many of them. A Canadian Kelowna Flightcraft (now KF Aerospace) DC10 avoiding the CB's The Military ramp in Bogota Going into cloud quite quickly after departure, keeping an eye on the terrain as there's quite a bit aroun…
