The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

A nice ride, the Citation Mustang, flying over California. I call the cumulus "the cleanup crew", it was actually my brother David's name for cumulus after one of Northern California's rainstorms.... John

I recall this story (for use w/ my CS-L1011), and I think some of you may also recall it. What has always struck me most about it is the fact that, at one point, in the desperate effort to re-gain control of the wide-body airliner (a Lockheed Tristar), the crew takes an un-usual step: direct the stewardess to gather all the passengers forward in the cabin to help get the nose of the aircraft down. The gamble didn't help much, but in their dire situation, the crew figured every little bit would help! BTW, regarding the current state of L-1011 simulations, if one does not insist on study-level authenticity, both CS/JF would likely meet the requirements of "fun" as it d…

The lake in the jungle, the light on the hill, the lonely house on the lawn and the approach of the cold front. Haze in the mountains, pink sunset and the moon over the sea.

Yeah, and I’m also short of a plane at the moment. I'm in New Zealand right now and plan to start a small shuttle service. Fortunately I’ve found a plane that was for sale quite cheap. I bought it over the internet, but I’ve only seen pictures, not the plane so far. But the owner said it is in good condition, maybe a minor paint job here and there. The guy I bought it from said it’s parked outside at Te Anau airport on New Zealand’s South Island. That's great, because I love the South Island. He said it had been decontaminated and even had a brand new cup holder. Hhmmmhh…I’m not sure what this all means, but I need a plane, as I have just accepted to ferry tourists from Q…

Hello Community. This is something new for me. I´m feeling to be good enough now in my capability in creating own Repaints. To this Project: This is a Repaint for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, done for the Payware F4U-1A from Aircraft Factory. It is totally fictional and only made because I like the combination of the colours. It does not intend to be historical correct in any way. It is created by using the Paint Kit, distributed by the Publisher, Photoshop Pro 8 and DXTBMP. Lighting configurated to the also Payware Shockwave Lighting Effects. And yes,my Pilots wear Hawaii-Shirts! I hope you enjoy these Screens and maybe youcanleave a reply 😊

Enjoying flight in the VSkylabs gyro (out of Corning-Elmira NY) and Eurofox over the dense forest scenery back east. The Eurofox revisits a flight I took for real in a Luscombe about twelve years ago, out of Pegasus Airpark in Pennsylvania. My friend, the Luscombe owner, put me up in his log cabin home and I got about twenty minutes stick time with his Luscombe before embedded thunderstorms approached us, the day looked exactly like my screenshots show. We then went back to his home and waited out the torrential rain which began falling as soon as we landed back at Pegasus. Then he took me to breakfast and he and his wife took me back to Philly where I was staying nea…

Shalom and greetings all my pals, May I present some local Dublin travel agency's special Scottish tour charter flight flown by Channel Airways BAC 1-11 from EIDW Dublin Airport 6.2 miles north of Dublin in Ireland to EGPE Inverness Airport 8.1 miles north-east of the city of Inverness in Scotland? Excited Irish vacationers boarding the plane Long line of airport vehicles waiting patiently while the BAC 1-11 was starting engines (Aerosoft vehicle AI traffic is smart to know not to get behind jet blast or not to get in front of taxiing plane) Nice wing view of airport vehicles waiting patiently for the plane to start engines and push b…

Hello, I need 😉 to publish my screenshots here, ORBX deleted or censored my topic in their screenshots area. To less ORBX for them at the Moment, I'm asking if they can bring it back. The new Version from QW is great, it's working nearly perfect for me, no big bugs anymore. And I love the Textures from Qualtiywings. But I like ORBX Australia and with the upcoming new Version it will be more fun. Have fun! Urmel

[I leave this aircraft (one of the, so-far, un-installed installers in my archive) nameless for now. If you catch this post, and feel like it, please try to name it...otherwise, I will do so, in a few hours, after I return from my outside errands. BTW, I find no evidence that FedEx actually operates this aircraft. So, please consider this livery fictional.] Nonetheless, here, below, a bit of history about FedEx livery, here, that may be of interest: It was founded by Fred W. Smith. The concept for what eventually became Federal Express came to Fred in the mid-1960s, while an undergraduate student at Yale. For an economics class, he submitted a paper in which he …

Enjoying the Icon tonight, very nice aircraft, handles great on the water, and in the air, like a Light Sport aircraft should, just wish there were more liveries for Europe, just one US livery but that does not diminish from enjoyment of another VSkylabs product... The Lake is lake Berryessa, used to ride my bike there from Napa for great exercise and a 4000 foot vertical climb enroute. Has a great seaplane airport near Moskowite corners, Harold Moskowite was a county supervisor and frequent Napa airport pilot from his private strip as he commuted to work at our civic center, use to chat with him from time to time with my friend William Garnett when we flew together in …

For a recent while, I've been meaning to fly my CS-757 again (have not flown it for about 4 years since my break - I did, however, fly and post an entry with my QW 757 here). For B757, the subject-flight of this post caught my attention due to its uniqueness. This is especially because, there was a time, I was scrupulously bringing up my (FMS) Navigraph database up-to-date for PMDG/iFly planes, but, frankly, I have been lately content with not-up-to-date databases for use with the FMS (including a couple of Carenado aircraft, I purchased recently, that, by default, come equipped with not the latest navigational data for the FMS). I just happen to clear the FMC message and…
