The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Not often shown in Xplane11, beautiful Tennessee scenery flying towards the great smoky mountains. I stayed in Townsend TN just outside the park while I was assigned to work there and install a network and do network training for the Best Western Cades cove Inn. I drove my employee and I into the Smoky Mountains National Park, then on towards Dollywood on the way back to Townsend, just beautiful scenery. Another link for the wonderful Simheaven forests improvement for Xplan11 gracefully given to me by another forum member. It has added wonderful depth to Xplane11's autogen and landclass, in and of itself the best Autogen and landclass IMHO for any sim. http://sim…

Following on from my previous post (here), I'm about to do the IBE6841, these days operated by a new A350-9 but this route seems to use a mixture of A346 and A350 aircraft. We leave at 5 to midnight and arrive in Buenos Aires around 7:40am. Still dark and still have the steps... Taking off towards the north initially. Looking back at the airport with city in the background as we arc round to head off south. City receeding away behind us... Not much to see overnight but there were a number of AI aircraft who stayed with us for much of the journey. Air Europa A330 TAM 767 Alitalia 777, wonder where he's going... Local boys, …

  18. Following on from my previous post (here), I'm in Munich and about to fly another one of Lufty's 16 A340-600's. This time we're off to Mexico, a few reasons, the T2G rendition is good, it's a hot and high airfield that's surrounded by mountains and often has thunderstorms and it also connects nicely to Iberia's network... DLH520 leaves at 10:20pm and arrives just after 3am. It's already dark as we load up at the gate, SODE working it's magic and connecting a jetway nicely to 2L. Taxiing onto the departure runway. Climbing out over Munich. Leaving Germany behind. After many hours of darkness we start our descent into Mexico City (still in dark…

A great route in Xplane11 or P3DV4, out of Glacier Intl headed towards the Continental Divide and Glacier park. I drove to Glacier from Phoenix in 2013 and enjoyed the vistas so much, my only other time thru there was inbound from Lethbridge Alberta, and Glacier was clouded over so I could see nothing of its majestic peaks. It is what I call, along with North Cascades national park further west in Washington State, America's Alps, followed by the peaks towering over Owens Valley in California. All three mountain sceneries, along with Jackson Hole, are wonderful for VFR flight. I was told of a great addon from SimHeaven which makes Xplane11's forests denser and much mo…

The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, especially as we can create our own weather and do not have to rely on the usual real world rainy Alaska environment 😉 Ortho4XP11, freeware Valdez, default Beech C90B Thanks for viewing
