Hi all, have a nice Piper Twin here by VFlyteair. They have a few GA planes for Xplane which all behave very realistic. And all switches and buttons work. The Twin Comanche is very nice to fly, has a lot of power. It's from the 1960's. Don't forget to switch the tanks! The scenery is not as sophisticated as in msfs with it's photogrammetry but good enough for a nice flight...🙂 They are busy here! 🙂 Such an amount of AI and it does not touch the fps, this only works in XP11. And it's a good quality of the models and paints all over, the makers …

  5. I am happy today that, after the recent [1.2.7.0] Update, I could (finally) fly the iniBuilds A321 on my Xbox/MSFS2024. Not sure what was my issue in MSFS2024 before this Update (could it be because I'm now able to selectively load this aircraft from my Library...?), but myself being on Game Pass (Standard Edition), haven't yet purchased MSFS2024 outright, it is really nice to have the A321 available now to me as a "default" aircraft. Since the very first announcement of the aircraft list for MSFS2024, here is one a/c, I have had my eyes on, to try out on my Xbox. Those of us from the FSX days might recall that there was an A321 included in the Standard Edition of FSX. Of…

Hi all, as I said I didn't touch my msfs 2020 at all while installing 2024 so the question is for me why to use 2024 instead. For those who are interested I found the following: After some struggle for example regarding the key assignments and more details overall it works now. The B737 MAX, the A320neo, A400, the ATR, the default PC12, the H125, B407 and the Cowan B222 all work well. The A321 has very bad frames on my system. My CS B777 and B767 from 2020 are loaded but the illumination of the entire AP elements does not work, it's too dark. All extra paints from the marketplace in 2020 do not show up and I cannot copy it over. My Care…

Hi all, have the great Milviz King Air 350 here again and there is no such King Air available for msfs. And Blackbird seems to have no plans to bring it there. So the plane only works in P3dv4 and this alone is worth it to keep the old sim alive. Have nice TE scenery here and it's a flight from Dundee EGPN to East Midlands EGNX near Nottingham. Every switch, knob and button you see here is functional. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

Well yesterday I got off with a lecture about using Luminar4 real skies in my shots, he said they are fake and don't represent MSFS 2024. So today I did three shots using just default clouds just for curiosity sake. This the main reason I never enter screenshot contests. Been using Luminar4 for so long I don't know anything else, you folks are the masters at that, not me. Luminas4 Put me in jail, staying with Luminar4

  12. After the abject frustration of trying to fly my favorite (and namesake) airliner (the 787), in my previous attempt in MSFS2024 (see my previous post); today, however, this ATR 72-600, made up some lost ground for me, by performing flawlessly, on a short flight, from (KLAX) Los Angeles International Airport to (KSAN) San Diego International Airport...(Bringing back bits of bygone memories when I'd taken the Amtrak train from the Los Angeles Union Station to the city of San Diego...on a most enjoyable short train ride...along the Pacific coast and through picturesque small California towns... I recall, after checking into the Downtown Marriott, I'd directly headed out to t…

Hi all, now I have installed 2024 just out of curiosity...what do I care about my chatter from yesterday....🙂 And this little adventure had a few pros and cons of course: The installation was easy, fast and straight forward and it does not use very much diskspace, very good. And did not cause any trouble with my 2020. Seems to be there is more data in the cloud, so must be patient and start it a few times again until it becomes faster. And it works, I can fly. Some confusion came up with the keyboard assignments because there were a lot of multiple assignments. At the end I deleted everything and started from scratch with a clean file and now…

  14. So, we have the first Update for MSFS2024 since its initial launch in Nov. 19. The list of fixes is so long...🙂...that I stopped reading...after the first segment, but I will examine it more later. The bottom line is what changed/improved for me in MSFS2024/Xbox...because I had many airplanes (except for the airliners, of course) ...already flying fine for me...in the launch (FS2024) version. Regarding specifically aircraft, which is my primary interest in the SIM, I had previously (mildly) complained...🙂...e.g., why do my beloved PMDG 736 and Asobo 787 that were flying well for me previously in MSFS2020, have to be now "Streamed In"...? Oh well...Now after this update al…

  16. ...🙂...OK, first of all, why good-old...? The 737-600 was the first ever PMDG aircraft I flew. It was also PMDG's first B737 rendition for our desktop...way back more than 20 years ago. I checked the PMDG Wiki just now a bit (btw, how can there be not a Wiki for it when there is one these days for almost everything...) especially when this (premier) SIM supplier has played (probably) the most singularly influential role in the lives of us (virtual) aviators...in fact more significant than the major world events...for some of us...🙂... (and to be honest, PMDG a/c have probably played a role for RW aviators too). The Wiki tells me that the 737-600/-700 NG was released by PM…

  17. I've been meaning to fly (and test) the B748 in MSFS2024 since some time, so, today, I gave it a try for the first time. This is an airplane I've special liking for because I'd a chance to see one in assembly inside the Boeing Everett Factory building, during one of my two visits to the city of Seattle. Anyway, when I tried to launch/fly this aircraft in the SIM today, I was rather (unceremoniously) thrown off the cockpit, by MSFS2024, at least a couple of times, back to the (TV) desktop of my Xbox Home Screen. Fortunately, the third attempt proved to be my charm when the flightdeck and the a/c finally loaded properly for me to conduct a short test-flight...🙂...so, p…

Now I'm someones supper I suppose 😟 Somewhere in Africa. 🤔 Notice how the plane is embedded in the grass in 2024, how real is that. Doing the upside crash in dirt is a real hoot, the way the dirt piles up on the wings, amazing.

  19. I recently flew the Vision Jet in the Alps mountains (see my earlier post, if you wish). I'd however originally intended to fly it from KTEX (Telluride Regional Airport), in Colorado, (see my shot #1 below). My motivation for visiting KTEX/Telluride are twofold: (1) KTEX, I noticed, is one of the hand-crafted airports (newly) listed for MSFS2024 (so is Aspen/KASE, btw) (2) Telluride, Colorado, is one of the most picturesque small towns in the Rockies, and its iconic small-town (main) street, dramatically poised against a rising mountain backdrop in the far-end, has been used in many film shootings, a couple of which films I recall well. This is a town, so to speak, is sit…

Hi all, the fantastic little squirrel helicopter H125 now made the career to a default aircraft of msfs. Of course I had to try that. 🙂 And it's good, looks good and flies as the other squirrels in the sims..I now have 4...🙃 Scenery is similar to 2020, may be some illuminated huts more, I don't remember. In my 2024 is a mesh issue on top of the pike in the middle of the atoll. To say something good about the new sim: The water looks excellent and I like the weather preset "high level clouds". You can see this here in the first 3 shots. And it runs rather stable similar to 2020, I have no chrashes as soon as the flight is loaded. And if you lo…

  21. Started by andiflyit,

Hi all, doesn't make sense for me to fly any plane in 2024 which I have in the other sims. But I found the A400M, the B37 MAX and the PC-12 with a nice glasscockpit. These are very interesting for me and now I did a first flight in the B737 MAX. Looks good and seems to be ok except some minor bugs. So the illumination of the activated AP buttons is only visible if I zoom in very much. But the plane works all in all. Did some fine tuning of the graphics because of my little graphics card and I can fly but I cannot zoom in to the scenery too much. This flight here is from EDDM to EDDF again only to test it all, I will go somewhere else another day…

Hi all, have a rather nice default rendition of EDDM in 2024 but as soon as I enter the taxiway-bridges leading to the field the plane breaks through to the ground/road underneath. Is this a special action just to please particulary me or did somebody else see this? I do flightsimulation since more than 20 years but never had something like that....🙂 Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

  23. First of all, after the hundreds of times I've now seen (or been forced to see) the opening sequence of the MSFS2024 launch video as our game every time initiates itself on our screen (while loading languages and activating various packages etc.), I do not seem to mind it now...🙂...Though (monotonously) repetitive, it's short and sweet with glimpses of interesting characters and activities being displayed in quick motion. You know...e.g., the Air France-KLM (blue) A330 jetliner shining in the twilight, patiently waiting on the apron for the crew walking towards it, as the passengers are seen hurrying through a Jet Bridge, and subsequently as the a/c lifts off the runway..…
