The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  2. [First of all: An "Alert" in advance...🙂...! Today, driven by a personal factor, I wished to fly the iniBuilds A330, for my 2nd time in MSFS2024. but alas...I ran into an unexpected (and unpleasant) surprise... finding that my iniBuilds Airbus a/c have developed a defect since the last time I'd flown them after the first MSFS2024 Patch 1.2.7.0 (rather flawlessly, I must add). Basically, the flightdeck (glass) screens, in the Airbus SIMs, now exhibit (ungainly) white patches on the up-front avionics displays (see e.g., shot #2 below). A quick on-line search revealed that this anomaly, also experienced and reported by other users, has been introduced during the 2nd MSF…

It's a Pilatus Playground as we give a demo flight to a prospective buyer here in Saint-Crepin in the French Alps We depart LFNC and fly north up the valley then take a climbing turn to the west and southwest, fly over Lac de Serre Poncon, then back around the valley for a straight in landing. We experience a bit of chop in the mountain air - but it's still a great day to fly! It's a short runway but no effort for the PC-24 Always an interesting view when the mountains are above you! Passing the ridge here, really shows a stark difference between 2020 and 2024, not only snow capped pine trees, but the generated textures on side of th…

Hi all, it seems that the tourists at Niagara are all wrapped up in weather proof clothing and than shipped to the waterfalls. It's all simulated in the nice scenery package... Happy New Year to all of you and a great 2025 ! 🙂 Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

Hi all, have installed the PMDG Baby Boeing now and the question here was: Can it perform a takeoff on a runway of 4250 feet length? It can, flaps to 15, no problem. 🙂 The flight here is from EDWE Emden in Germany to ESMS Malmö in Sweden via Denmark, about 350 nm. SAS was a large user of the 737-600 which was not sold so much. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

We're taking some big whigs to NYC to PARTAAAAAY haha! Routing is KSYR LVZ LVZ5 KTEB (ILS 19R). We've got our sweet paint by master TimHH, NYC by SamScene, Syracuse airport by Verticalsim and Teterboro airport by Dreamflight. (And yes, my PC needs more RAM - we hit 40GB on approach!) Let's get these chocks off and get her fired up! A brief taxi out to RWY 28 at KSYR Home of the 174th Attack Wing (MQ-9 Reaper) The PC-24 climbs like crazy - we're fairly light and about to hit 5500 fpm! As soon as we contact departure and head towards LVZ we're basically handed off to center as we climb to FL230 Here we g…

  17. After crossing over Los Angeles Airport, I descend - very - quickly toward the left downwind for runway 21 at Santa Monica. Just like in real life, the descent is very rapid after passing through the VFR corridor at 4,500 ft "Los Angeles Special Flight Rules Area". You need to join the downwind at around 1,300 ft! That's a lot to lose in a very short amount of time. In real life, Santa Monica tower usually asks to descend via the right downwind, on the other side after crossing over. My real pic, joining right downwind 21 KSMO: On the sim pic, the CDI is still set on the 312 radial from SMO VOR that the procedure requires to follow.…

I actually hadn't been to the Grand Canyon much in 2024. So I thought I'd take a few pics of various times of the year... pretty much from places accessible on foot. Some of these are famous overlooks, some are just random. Hope you enjoy! East of the main visitor's center (looking west-ish) Random location from the woods I remember a time when I visited as a child... but it was very overcast much like this pic. It honestly brought out the colors a little more. I was happy to have seen it with my own eyes. Perhaps you'd see this in early spring or early winter? This is Hopi Point looking east-ish Possibly Jupi…

Hi all, this is nice to fly in Aerofly as well from New York to Washington DC and there is a 747-400 but no 747-800. So it complements...🙂 But I didn't watch that the runway at KDCA is short for a 747, just about went. Bad pilot....😄 Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas
