In my previous post, when I flew my favorite, the Baby Boeing 736, in MSFS2024, I had mixed feelings and experiences about how this a/c SIM performed in the new SIM. The PMDG 736 is one SIM airliner that, in MSFS2020, had previously (always) performed flawlessly in my Xbox system. From the first "go" to my last flight with it in MSFS2020, it had never given me the slightest cause to worry. In fact, when I had flown it the first time in MSFS2020, back on November 18, 2023 (Oh boy...1 year and 1 month have already passed but it feels like just yesterday...🙂.... when you're having fun...), I'd titled my post, "Cannot believe I am flying the PMDG 737 on "Xbox"...". That'…

Hi all, we've seen a few very nice shots of the B777 Cargo these days and I have it now in Aerofly as well, came in with the latest update for free. 🙂 So this is a flight of 530 nm from Tamaguchi Ube to Niigata at the west coast of Japan. It's a wonderful country. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

Hi all, a few from Amsterdam. The sim looks good and has some advantages compared with msfs. It takes 3 minutes and the aircraft is on the airport. Great AI, high fps, easy to use flightplaner and more... The racecourse at Zandvoort here. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

Today, on Christmas Eve, my mind was drifting back to few decades ago when, for a decade or so, I would visit, every other year, during the Christmas holidays, the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Those were simpler times and also a bit different...at least it felt so...🙂...I think. First of all, there was no so much of internet, so, on long trips, one had to look up places of interest to visit, in a AAA (American Automobile Association) travel book, with the AAA agent (previously) having drawn crayon lines on the highways and roadways of the MAPs to take you to your destination (the magenta lines equivalent of today's (ub…

I think biome is the word for the vegetation? Anyway, all I have seen so far in FS2024 has been green trees. Set a flight in Southern Chile for the C170B &, voila!, now there are Autumn like colors, although it is Summer there.😀 I don't have Bijan's Seasons loaded in FS2024 so I guess this must be 2024 colors? Also took Ant's Tiger Moth out in the same region to catch the scenery. T45

I was pleased when I logged in to 2024 the other day to find that my home airport EGPF Glasgow by Pyreegue was available and ready to use. My captures don't do it any justice, but this is a fantastic rendition of the real thing and has been created to a very high standard - and in my honest opinion, the lighting improvements in 2024 make it look even better. I am however seeing a bit of a hit to my frame rates when at a gate or around the airport in the drone. I'm not sure if this is due to the limitations of my system, the RAM/VRAM bug or the fact that the airport is absolutely teaming with other aircraft (and it doesn't seem to matter what setting i select - …

You might recall, I'd earlier mentioned that, during the first week of my acquisition of MSFS2024 (via Game Pass subscription), I'd the most frustrating experience trying to fly the (MSFS2024) airliners especially the iniBuilds (default) a/c, and also the (MS/Asobo) Boeing 787-10. However, since then and post Update 1.2.7.0, I've now successfully tested and flown (see my previous few posts, if you wish) all the 5 (primary) iniBuilds airliners (A321LR, A400M, A330-200, A310-300, and A320neo, excluding the Beluga), without any issues encountered. But the 787-10 is the one that I'd to still test since my initial disastrous experience with it, the first time I flew it i…

Digging around in my Simmarket purchases from way back & found the Virtualcol B99 Commuter had been updated for MS2024. So I downloaded it & set off from Hamburg to Kastrup. Flies pretty well, AP works but Garmin GPS has the issue I have with all 530's so far in FS2024 - can't get the NAV1 Standby frequency & main frequency to swap. The Comms/Vloc button/dials at the bottom left of the 530 screen will not switch from Comms to Vloc. T45

Hi all, now I also tried this one here which is the Volocopter Volocity. Very interesting to fly, it hovers by itself. But it's hard to accelerate and make some speed. Good for looking at sceneries, simply position it somewhere in the air...🙂 They want to establish it as air taxi over next years but seems to be difficult to start the business and to bring it into daily work. Scenery is at Emden, Germany. It hovers here, it's not on the ground. As you can see here there's an seperate rpm for all the propellers. Thank …

First of all, I'm on bit of a roll here...🙂...5 for 5 now on first flight with each aircraft (after the 1.2.7.0 Update) ...with the iniBuilds' airliners available to me by default in my Xbox/MSFS2024. I've now successively tested all the (default) iniBuilds airliners (A321, A330, A400M, A310, and, in this post, the A320neo V2) ...flown in the same order (if you wish, see also my previous posts). Note that (A321/A330/A400M) are new to MSFS2024 (courtesy of iniBuilds), whereas the A310 and A320neo were already part of MSFS2020. In addition, iniBuilds also has a couple of other (payware) Airbus types (A300 from MSFS2020, and upcoming A350, hopefully for both MSFS2020 and MSF…

As a completely non-professional aviator (but a passionate enthusiast of this hobby nonetheless...🙂...), the A300 and the A310 Airbus variants have always appealed to me a great deal since the earliest days of my (SIM) engagement. These two a/c are unique in the Airbus family because they are not only the foundations for rest of the later (more modern) Airbus types but also have very distinctive style flightdeck and cockpits of their own, with avionics feel, in the cockpit, especially for us virtual aviators, that is different from those of the other (modern) Airbus types. We know that the Airbus A320 was the first airliner to feature a full digital fly-by-wire (FBW) flig…

Hi all, the flight is a bit sightseeing again because I wanted to see what msfs creates on the ground and it's all good. Very impressive looking around while flying. And this endless expanse without or very little settlement...quite unusual for someone who lives in Central Europe. Scenery is all default msfs and aircraft is the CS B767-200. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas
