Hi it's me. Evening three of MSFS2024. Day 1 wasn't great as it took about 5 hours to get the sim downloaded, just to find many many game-breaking bugs. I was quite frustrated like many of you. Bleh! Day 2 - The sim loaded okay and even though there are still a lot of bugs (such as not being able to retract the gear, non animating switches/buttons, and bright freaking lights at night on my Premium Deluxe PC24), I was able to get in, bind most of my peripherals/buttons, and figure out my way around the new interface. I mostly used Free Flight - I did a few longer flights with the PC24 (with gear down lol - shooting two rnav approaches with lpv mins), the PC12 NGX…

Part 3 of my MSFS 2020 memories.... the eve before 2024 arrives. Most of these are from this year.... I spent a LOT of this year repainting general aviation addons haha! I even painted some of the official liveries in the Black Square Dukes, along with TimHH. This was also the year I tried to get to know the FBW Airbus more in depth. I did do a few flights, but I think I'm just a GA guy at heart. Really enjoying these activities as I wait for the addons I want to bring over are made ready for MSFS. I decided on L52 Oceano, California as my flight school location. Right on the scenic coast with nice So-Cal weather and am using the L52 addon with all its small airport charm. Additionally, Theres KIZA Santa Ynez, KSBP San Luis and KSBA, Santa Barbra all in my coverage area for seeking out jobs of which I've added those addon airports to FS24. Hi all, so I've installed an update for the Asobo ATR which was in the content manager since longer and wanted to test it, all fine. This is from Munich to Geneva, the scenery is wonderful, all WU and photogr. on. Don't have the addon for LSGG and the default airport is a bit poor so I deleted 2 shots, I'll need to install the addon there. People are saying there aren't seasons... first off you need to be in the right area. Second, there is a bug that I've just posted to the main MS forums. I believe trees in city limits are actually turning more green as the Autumn season moves on hehe. And those trees aren't "losing their leaves." But by simply changing the month here I'll show you that generally, the seasons ARE indeed working. BTW, this is northern Wisconsin, USA. Hi all, so this is another nice rendition of EDDF Frankfurt/Main and it's free for msfs. Installed it via Orbx Central. I had bad fps there before but it's improved now, so works even with my very limited graphics card. There will be no problem regarding fps from RTX 3060 on upward. Thank you very much for viewing! Originally created in X-Plane 11 for our race team I have fully ported it over to 12 following the cancelation of the series and it is so much fun in VR. Designed to be super frame rate friendly you can get around the track silky smooth. Love it. Fun times and all stored locally. Who'd have thought. Cloud is for weather not storage. Just saying.

With the release of the new sim I was excited like everyone else, having not been able to use the game up till now I tried again and after 20 minutes loading success (1gb internet), I was on the runway with this Who is the creepy red dude? Is he blue for intel users? If this streaming is the future then I guess I will be classed as a retro gamer from now on, done with it, refund submitted.

Hi all, wanted a B767 and so I installed the Captain Sim B767-200 for a very reasonable sales price, and some paints. The aircraft is modelled very well inside and outside and some of the liveries are first class. Everything works and it flies well. The avionics are based on the Asobo 747 but it all works. The FMC is not the most beautiful but works as well, I can do my flightplans as usual. One bug: It cannot calculate the final distance to the destination. This is always too much while the distance to the next waypoints is ok. But I have to do more different approaches, will see. Have shots from 2 flights here, had to interrrupt the first f…

Part 2 of my MSFS 2020 memories... A happy start to 2022 when I did a total PC rebuild. My original CPU/GPU was a 2500K with GTX 970 - and this build had lasted a touch over 8 years. When MSFS came around I think I was running a 4790K with a GTX 980, and replaced with a 1080 Ti (still in the same case and spinning drives lol). I ran that combo with my old 1080p monitor for a little while. Then I upgraded my monitor to a 1440p! It was quite the difference in image clarity. The 1080Ti powered it fine but with MSFS it was obvious a newer rig was in order, if I truly wanted to enjoy the eye candy MSFS had to offer. So in March of 22 I did a new PC build with my 12…
