The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  2. A recent 4-Part (10-leg) post of an interesting Alaskan trip by a member, here, brought my mind (back) to Alaska, for this post of mine. If you're not a local to the state or this region (neither am I), imagine this...Alaska is the largest state by area in the U.S. and (geographically) is not bordered by any other U.S. state. Nearly 50% of its land is (still) uninhabited, to this modern day...so, even now, if one is adventurous enough (and bit of a daredevil), it's possible to set foot on some areas of Alaska, where no human has ever treaded before...(though, one might need that (MSFS) XCub, to do so...🙂...) Valdez, Alaska, is never too far from my mind, because I re…

Shots of FedExing around New Zealand in my Carenado C208B HD where I've replaced the turbine sound set, added cockpit immersive sounds, patched the engine, added the GPS 2020 to the dash and replaced the lighting. Even modded the model so that a flick of a cockpit switch will enable / disable the 3D knobs, either the left or centre knobs can be enabled/disabled (fits in better with the GPS 2020). And also have a further general avionics upgrade in the works. Although Carenado planes don't have a lot of depth, they're still fun to fly. Cheers R

An amazing journey through Easter Island. Beautiful free scenarios that allowed you to make this walk: https://flightsim.to/file/3830/ahu-tongariki-moai-sculptures-easter-island-chile https://flightsim.to/file/4077/anakena-beach-easter-island-with-moai-statues Piper Arrow-this is certainly not a bush plane, but the landing gear with dignity withstood landing and takeoff over bumps. 🙂

I'm really enjoying this plane, particularly with JKB's repaint. I'd be enjoying it more without the stuttering but maybe they'll get that fixed soon. It looks SO good on a sunny day over the green fields. Over Blenheim Palace Clifton Suspension Bridge and somewhere in-between

I was looking for a particular old pic and found these from a couple of years ago. Thought I'd share them as you don't see many of these about (and the guy in the last couple of shots was definitely impressed)

I was zooming in on the world map around the south of England and spotted the POI marker for Blenheim Palace, so thought I'd check it out. Can't now remember where I set off from but somewhere just a few miles south. Grand old place, ain't it? Mind you, as a previous occupant might have said, this is behaviour "up with which we shall not put"

  16. Nice little airfield south of Paris, LFFB, (Buno-Bonnevaux), sort of pleasant little place to explore in itself and a good starting point for a bit of low n'slow. Well, I did say "bird's eye view" Had to restart the flight with a different plane. One weird little thing I've had lately is a few times where an aircraft just won't get up to speed enough to take off. Particularly strong at Liverpool - if I try and set off from there in the Bonanza she won't fly. If I slew airborne she won't maintain power. But if I come in to the airport from somewhere else, land, and then take off again there's no problem. Weird. But then I'm gettting used to we…

Overcast at 400 agl at KBJC, Denver Rocky Mountain Metro (ORBX freeware) , but no precip yet. A Learjet climbing away in the distance off of 29R as I wait. Breaking out on top with the sunrise coloring the morning sky. I can see the beacon light from an inbound to KDEN below and left. The TDv2 is an absolute joy. Every single switch, button, knob, and systems fully modeled and functioning, nicely complemented by the pair of reliable and fully functional RXP GTNs. Almost time to pull out th…
