The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

A flight between two airfields that I wanted to see because I rehabed them in P3D (including the mesh) : Jackson County 1A7 TN and Harlan County KY called Tucker-Guthrie (why not Loretta Lynn I wonder). The type of airports made for me So open a country music radio channel and off we go . In P3D, 1A7 was several hundred meters to the left... A nice thing about MFS is that the airports sit where they should. The Dale Hollow reservoir of the Obey river There is a small city on the other side called Lovelady. Sweet. A ridge very typical of the relief of the Appalachians, parallel to the large river valley Airport is on the left …

  9. I am following up, in this post, to my earlier account of Ryanair BUZZ (please see my previous post). First of all, I'd mentioned there that there was a "second" plane (besides the PMDG 737NG), that has been also (lately) tugging at my (sim-aviation) instincts, which SIM, I've not touched, since a very long time, if not a year...(I recall, there was a member post on it, here, a few months ago, which had revived it fresh in my mind). That plane/SIM is (BAe-146/Avro-RJ), QW's 2nd (and worthy) offering after their first B757 output. Anyone who is a fan of aviation and aircraft (especially jets), could not have missed notice of this (RW) aircraft. It's anything but convention…

  10. Well, it had to happen, came down pretty ill, lots of thowing up with the shakes and temp etc. Went to the local quack's office, no joy - no can see Drs. until a Covid-19 test has been passed...🤔 Fortunatelly the Covid clinic is right next door, but of course after being tested you gotta isolate for a couple of days while awaiting the test results. So took that time to work from home and not having to commute meant time for installing and a bit of flying of a few more Covid-19 specials. Turns out by the time I got the results I was feeling much better, no need to see Drs. and didn't have Covid-19 anyway. 😀 Cheers The Carenado Beechcraf…

Digging into the back of the heavies hangar I found the CLS DX DC10-30F & also found the Centurion livery in Avsim's library. So a flight from LYBE to ESKS was created. When MSFS came along I upgraded my PC, [unfortunately too slow on getting a GPU], but I have noticed that P3D is so much smoother now.😀 T45 (P3D v4.5)

Leros is a small island off the Turkish coast, rendered beautifully in MFS. The runway is short, some 1000 m long, and hemmed in by hills. Fun to fly. You'd better do a right downwind as there are wind turbines on the left A double S tight turn over the villages to lower the speed under 160 mph and lower the gear here are the wretched turbines I over compensated the crosswind

A very short flight from Duluth Sky Harbor to Duluth Int'l. I wanted to give this bird a quick check out and I am pleasantly surprised. Sure it's not Dodosim, but for a flight sim without helicopters - this is a good starting effort! Started up also using the beta GTN 750 (also a good starting effort, not close to the RXP one which I miss so dearly). Untitled-4 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Take off from the ramp not too difficult... On warm Summer days you'll find a friendly dog roaming the airport. 18. ..sometimes it does look pretty word not allowed good. This is 6am @ 12,000ft over Death Valley this morning. Real Weather. Stunning. Flying the modded default Beechcraft G36 which sort of flies OK. Until you try to land in a crosswind. This sim is SO frustrating. http://www.hhuk.net/DeathValley.png[/Img]

Using the most excellent free Aldinga, South Australia airfield , I did a short cruise in the also excellent ultralight up the coast to Port Noarlunga. MSFS has done a fantastic job of recreating the mouth of the Onkaparinga River where it hits the ocean at Southport beach. Great spot for easy surfing and kayaking and SUPing up the river. After landing, I'm off to one of the many "cellar doors"in McLaren Vale for a drop of shiraz.....give it a go! https://photos.app.goo.gl/ThVQgXNfGRvmnYWu6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/QiF5tqcWNEvrpGcB8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/BA2xMd2HMod5GUsc8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/z66XWBLW9YhA9gzc9 https://photos.app.goo…

  22. Sometimes, I feel a (SIM) induced tug, if, for more than a period of ~6 months, I haven't had a chance to (virtually) fly an aircraft, that has been a favorite of mine, and, especially, if I was also familiar with that RW aircraft (speaking purely from an enthusiast perspective) long before I got involved in my (imaginary) adventures of (SIM) aviation. This week, I came across two such (SIM) planes, and, here is the first one, the PMDG 737NG. I don't recall flying this one for about a year, and, the decade-old (nostalgic) flashbacks came back to me, today, about the "excitement" of the times when the "NGX" was first released. Surely, same as many folks here, I recall, qui…

  23. Take off from LSZH,a smooth ride but a windy landing, very close to rub the plane tail, no emergency vehicles were needed. In any case they would have blamed the dutch 🤭 Already inclined and out of the ideal descent Not so much realigned ... enough to avoid a catastrophe..... Ouch .... Perfect! No human losses! And remember, tell your friends how "you almost died on a scheduled flight", fill your social profiles with a fantastic new adventure! anything that doesn't kill you makes you stronger !
