Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Four pics to illustrate that in spite of the shortcomings, MFS is bringing a new dimension to the hobby. Four regions that were neglected before. The mix of nice aircraft (the Flyingiron Spit' and the Milviz Corsair) in great sceneries. South Vietnam, near Cam Tho Epirus region in Northern Greece : a good mesh makes a lot of difference. The 18th Century Royal Saltworks in Arc-et -Senans in France a plateau in the Andes in Argentina,

I attempted what I thought would be a "nice" flight on Pilot Edge. I could tell from the get go that it wasn't going to go smoothly and that I was behind the power curve, basically, the entire flight. Routing KTNP TNP V370 PSP V388 PDZ KRAL (That's Twenty Nine Palms to Riverside Muni in CA). It's a short flight and with air traffic services provided by actual humans I expected a bit of a workload. On departure.... oh wait let's back up. I never briefed myself the departure. I departed RY 26 at KTNP, and which way should I turn back to the VOR? Or should I just turn SW and join the TNP231R towards PSP? I decided to answer this question while hand flying th…

[Note: Prompted by Chock's (home-grown) excellent repaint and a couple of recent DC-4/C-54 posts, I, finally, succumbed to the temptation of the (FR) DC-4 package. And, note, though this repaint is marked for FSX/P3D, it's portable for MSFS 2020 (and, of course, looks much better in MSFS 2020, see Chock's screenshot). The upload file is now sticking to the top 2 of the top 50, and who knows, might even reach #1 in the chart by the end of this weekend...🙂...] I've known and been flying the DC-4/C-54 freeware since my very first FSX days...thanks to JBK/CalClassic. The DC-4 was the first Douglas propliner, after the illustrious DC-3, that was not a "tail-dragger", so, …

I like finding nice little out of the way places in this sim, and I also like exploring the big tourist hot-spots too. I noticed Jan had posted some pix of his Optica repaints shot over Sydney and thought "ahh, haven't been there for a while", so off I went. I can do that in the sim! Ain't it great? Just one over the airport as I turned round and headed off towards Bondi Some of the shipping in the harbour Bondi below. Going to follow the coastline round to that point in the middle distance then turn in and head up the Harbour to the Bridge etc. Heading back in now Nearest name I could see on LNM for this little bay/cove was Reid Park, but don't k…

Playing with the DOF as well 🙂 Flight originated from Chelan S10 and the Vertigo made short work of the trip....which was mostly weaving between mountains and avoiding heavy rain in the area. I followed the Skykomish River and ended up doing a few touch and goes near First Air W16 and then Harvey (popular Orbx fields back in the day). I was very impressed with the photogrammetry nearing KPAE...very sharp and clear even at the speed I was flying. Livery is 'Dorado,' the Lexus-based touring paint that comes with the 1.1 version of Vertigo: https://flightsim.to/file/13052/vertigo-turbo-prop-racer My shots begin just west of Harvey Field S43... snohomish…

Shalom and greetings all my pals, Passover week is over which means massive flux of Israelis returning from their Passover vacation in Eilat back home to Tel Aviv which means that El Al could not use narrow body 737-200s or Britannias hence decision to use exciting brand new 707-300 to handle heavy holiday passenger traffic back home from LLET Eilat Airport located in the center of Eilat adjacent to Route 90 (The Arava Road) to LLBG Ben Gurion Airport located 12 miles southeast of Tel Aviv STOP the sign says you need authorization from airport tower before passing!! Attention!! The sign says that ATTENTION you are attending aerial zone Please dr…

Had the freeware version of EGKA but went ahead and got the Orbx version anyway. Glad I did. I've had a couple of moans (well, that's probably over-stating it) over at the Orbx forum about the lack of realism in the buidlings in their recent cityscapes, so I was well pleased to see the run down grubbiness of the main building at Shoreham. Much better than the kiddie-toy finish of most of the buildings you see in the various addons. Bring on the muck, that's what I say! Hah! call that a pier? (Southend boy here, remember) Brighton looks good. PG off, as usual I suppose there must be sunny days like this there sometimes (but every day is a sunn…

Saw the announcement about FlightBeam's LFBZ, so went to remind myself what the recently acquired Beautiful Model of the World version liooked like. Looks pretty impressive to me. I may yet weaken and get the FB version, but probably not immediately. Now if they'd just release a version of KPHX . . . Meanwhile, here's the BMW version of LFBX in all its glory. And it looks rather fine in the surrounding area too, after the update. The BMW airports are pretty impressive, and a one time 'membership' fee of about 24 euros for ten or so airports can't be beat.

Hi folks Just wanted to fly above the quite recently added watermasks between France and UK. It was particularly pleasant thanks to 2 great freeware airports : LFAT Le Touquet by Vincent Bazillo and Quimper LFRQ by Headwind. Plane involved : TBM 930 with the improvement mod by Mugs, WorkingTitle G3000 version 5.1 (6.x causing too much performance degradation), and F-AJKB livery by Jan Kees Blom (fully fictive, since F-AJKB refers to an old CAMS53 seaplane which didn't end well). Parked just next to the fire station. Nice weather to start with, should be overcast over the land, while we will be flying over the channel. Expected to be overcast 5/8 at des…

Nothing fancy. Short (and slow) trip from KPAO to KSQL. Just using 'easy' mode initially to see how it goes but I'll try and get to grips with it properly over the nxet few days. Had a couple of CTDs since putting it in and need to try and identify the circumstances behind that, but it looks like fun. Seems I'm not alone! What's the collective noun for a bunch of Bell 47s, I wonder? They look like a bunch of insects in that last shot, maybe a Buzz of 47s?

Was looking for something else and spotted this on flightsim.to - https://flightsim.to/file/5429/south-mountain-radio-towers - just the sort of touch I enjoy exploring. Loaded it up and went for a peek. Made me realise that nobody has done the business with KPHX - wonder when Flightbeam will get theirs across to MSFS.
