The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Encouraged by another recent post, here, using FlyTampa scenery, I, too, looked for a new airport scenery, this week, also from those esteemed developers at FlyTampa, for myself (aka for my humble FSX...🙂...). FlyTampa creations are all excellent, but, I settled on one airport that caught my attention, it being neither a large metropolitan international airport, nor too small an airport. In fact, Corfu (LGKR) is actually now considered an international airport, and the island of Corfu, in the Ionian Sea, of the Ionian Islands, being a major tourist attraction. The airport, founded in 1937, had an original Runway length of only about 1900 feet, during WW II days, then, ove…

Read some sad news the other day, Fry's Electronics has closed all its stores. Fry's was one of the most amazing places to visit if you were even slightly nerdy back in the early days of compootering. When I joined Amdahl in 1987, I got sent out to their training centre in Sunnyvale, in the valley, and on the first lunchbreak of the first course somebody took me down the road to Fry's. This was a shed the size of a football stadium absolutely packed with everything you could imagine PC (in the general, rather than necessarily IBM PC sense) related. Everything from build and test equipment through individual chips to every add-on card under the sun, plus every bit of softw…

A place I spent a very pleasant day once back in my teaching days. Wonderful memory of sunshine, very green grass, loads of wildflowers and possibly a wild bird sanctuary. Recommended if you're ever in that area Looking back towards San Jose
