The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Thought I'd try something other than bright sunshine for a change. A quick hop across a gloomy looking Berlin from Aerosoft/Limesim's Brandenburg to the Gaya Simulations Tegel. PG off as usual (I've no idea if Berlin is a PG city or not) Looks like it might be brightening up

To finish off the picture gallery of French airports - here’s LFST Strasbourg and LFRB Brest. Although my exploration of France 🇫🇷 is done for now, I’ll be sure to come back soon! Strasbourg is situated by the Rhine at the eastern border of France with Germany in the historic region of Alsace. It’s historic city centre is beautifully rendered by photogrammetry, where the iconic Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg is visible from far across the plains of Alsace. The airport has a single 2400m 7874ft rwy. Approaches to runway 23 (seen in the pictures) has nice views of the city, whilst approaches to runway 05 over the hills is also scenic but a bit more challengin…

I bought the ImagineSim version when it came out. Personally, I think the new version in the USA update is better, but that's just my opinion. Thought I'd post some comparison pics for anyone interested. Whichever you prefer, you've got to admit the USA update one is pretty fine for a built in airport.

Yeah yeah, I know, but I think sliced bread is an abomination. Anyway, this is what it's all about for me. I hope all the tubeliner guys out there eventually get what they want out of this sim too, but for me it's already close to perfect. Sitting in front of a big 40 inch screen at 4k and looking at scenes like this I swear I can actually feel the sunshine and smell that woodland!

[JATO, in C-130 Hercules, stands for "JET ASSISTED TAKE-OFF" System. In my previous Rio/Hercules post, I'd indicated that the Float variant of the C-130 Hercules, I'd displayed there, was seen to be equipped with JATO rockets, which, I'd not found suitable to deploy, on the Guanabara Bay, in the midst of the busy Rio Cityscape...🙂...So, here, I have flown the same Float (USCG livery) Hercules, with activation of its JATO system (virtually, of course, with no (implied) pretense of any resemblance to the RW event, see a RW video clip suggestion, below). In addition, for curiosity, I've also included pictures of the the Wheel (with JATO) and Ski (without JATO) Hercules varia…

This is the follow-up to my previous post about a visit to the city of Rio de Janeiro, where I happened to be too pre-occupied to look around too much, while, simultaneously, at the command of the behemoth C-130 Hercules...🙂...(so, like I'd said earlier, please do indulge this virtual (wannabe pilot) simmer here...), and, having to figure out the (un-conventional) HDG/ALT/LOC functions and controls of the Autopilot Panel...mind you, that was no LNAV/VNAV/FMS guided (automated and hands-off type) navigational cockpit...nonetheless, it was fun (and challenge) of a different kind, I would say... Paulo Ricardo's (customized) rendition of Rio city turned out to be quite a…
