The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Wasn't sure if they ever actually did this, but just checked (thank you Dr Google) and apparently the first such flight took place a few days after the release of MSFS (now there's spooky). So here we are, out of LLBG in everybody's favourite wide-body (well, I'm enjoying it anyway). Amazing landscapes down there. cheers, Andy

  2. I so want a good one of these for MSFS. I believe AH is working on one but who knows when it will arrive. Me and my ccard will be ready for it though! That's probably it for a while, Andy

Well, courtesy of an incredibly generously put together guide fron @Chock, I am now beginning to understand how to do the basics of getting a flight plan into the onboard FMC in a tube, and do the necessary to get off the ground and then transit into AP control. Still having issues coming out of AP and descending correctly at the destination but hey, at least I'm beginning to get an idea of what's involved. Can't see it'll ever be my preferred mode of transport in the sim but the bits at either end are becoming more fun than I expected. But as for doing long haul in real time . . . I don't think so! Just set up a trip out of KBOS to KPHL, initially with the CS777 …

The Airbus A310 played a crucial role in the early evolution of Airbus. I came across this interesting RCAF/GOVT VIP livery (last shot, below), atop the library uploads, today,...(the classic A310 is painted, here, in the livery used to transport the Prime Minister of Canada in his travels)... I also included 3 other A310 colors...(these are all "-300" variant)...

  9. Having managed to integrate the RXP GTN 750 into the PC-12 cockpit I decided to give the Carenado B200 another try. I had initially tried to add the RXP GTN 750 into the B200's VC, but any attempts to export from AC3D totally corrupted the cockpit interface mechanism. I've managed to find a few workarounds now, and the results so far look promising. Still work in progress, most of the actual GTN 750 integration itself is done though: I still need to figure out how to move the radar display and get rid of the original small transponder and replace it with the original small ADF. Cheers, Jerome

Was planning to check out some stuff in and around Iceland, and the world map showed some wildlife around the coast so went a huntin' Almost works. The water looks great, as ever, and the whale is pretty good, but the whole interaction with the water thing needs work. As it is it just looks fake, add a wake and bow effect and this would be wonderful.

Ah, that last one reminded me of this guy - Quite a lot of '50s and '60s stuff in my hangar, guess that's because those were the things I grew up with as a kid, all those Airfix kits and Observer books etc.

  22. [First of all, a short while ago, I recall, there were several excellent posts and screenshots, here, about the (MSFS) CRJ, the very first (complex) 3rd-party add-on for MSFS. Lately, however, I don't recall seeing that nice jetliner around here. The CRJ has been always a great favorite of mine in the SIM world. Many of you might remember the Wilco "Regional Jet - CRJ", from the FS2004 days..., I'd the DVD Box for it (likely purchased from my sole DVD supplier, "Fry's",...not sure, though, where I lost it along the way...)...Anyway, that DVD was my introduction to "RJ" simulation....a good one for its time. I checked today and see it still listed on the Wilco website (wit…
