The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

That’s a nice one too The ships are from Henrik Nielsen's great AI ship traffic, and the Ever Given (or shall we call her Ever Stuck) is not part of it. That is why the creator of this nice scenery (available from the usual site) used another, similar ship

Well, the patch seems to have worked for me, got my sim back and flying again happily. Tested it with my saved Spitfire flight around London, but changed the livery to one of Jan's goodies. I'm using the freeware recorder software, mostly. And mostly it's fine, but it does sometimes lose track of the undercarriage. So you end up making a perfectly fine landing apparently balanced exquisitely on the rear wheel. And then next time round it's fine. Small price to pay for having a nice simple replay progam though.

This is really getting to be an amazing thing. I will master this, even if I have to turn the air blue for weeks to come. Getting better, I can land without crashing now. Next trick is to land anywhere near where I was aiming! But huge fun to fly, loads of great liveries to let it fit right in to any scenario. Highly recommended. Also got myself the Farnborough and Blackbushe payware airports. Ideal for a test flight. (I also posted a video link here -

This morning, i woke up early and had some time to fly a leg for my VA. the leg was EGLC -> EGPE (Inverness). Everything went well and as usual i recorded the flight in order to get my screenshots after i land, which i did. During the captures i had some problem with both Live Weather and REX WF.. The weather was off and i tried to correct manually. Happy enough i took the shot which i post below and put it in FB/reddit etc. with description something like "First coffee of the day at Inverness". People liked it but some of them (strangely not many) started to joke as to when EGPE got parallel runways. I checked and indeed this was EGCC and not …

Equipped (or is it newbie over-confidence...🙂...), now, with a bit of experience and familiarity, from my Part I exercise, with Augsburg (EDMA) approaches, I follow up, here, with my Falcon 50 (luxury) biz-jet (see screenshot of cabin). This is an aircraft, I'm quite fond of flying, especially, now, with the RXP GTN 750 unit, (neatly) embedded into its virtual cockpit, thanks to the (easy) panel management interface. And, I wish to repeat my exercise, in this post, accounting for my learning curve, the same sequence (a/b/c) of procedures, as in the Trainer exercise, earlier i.e. (a) The RNAV (LPV) GPS approach to Augsburg (EDMA) Rwy 25 (b) A (deliberate) Miss…

Hi fellow pilots An interesting flight between default LOWI (Austria) and EPPO Poznań Ławica (Poland). TBM930 improvment mod + G3000 WT. Freezing and overcast conditions at departure, true meaning of cold&dark startup 😪

Unknown (to me, or known to me at some point, but now forgotten) airplanes, I find fascinating. Here is an example, I ran into today, at the top of the freeware upload list. In the Top 50, today, at FlightSim.com, I counted, 20+ files/liveries, devoted to this historical plane. I would call that an impressive statistic, in a single day for a (tiny little) historical monoplane, and, in fact, I don't easily recall such (daily) enthusiast response, to a freeware file, in my recent memory...)...so, the plane must have been special...and, indeed, it was...! The Latecoere 28.1, shown below, in the screenshots, was assembled in the year 1930 by the Latecoere Company, which …

It is a lie. It was not sunny at all and a lot of fog here and there. Just a bait to get you in 😈 But a nice flight anyway in West Scotland. I spare you the ones in the soup.

Well, now, that I've installed the (nice) RXP GTN 750, into two of my (virtual) A/C (per my previous posts), I looked to "play" with it a bit, for the first time, and explore its (powerful) capabilities, and especially its (well-known) user-friendly (yes, our smart-phone like) touchscreen interface (of course, for me, here, it's actually the "Point and Click" mouse interface, instead). BTW, I did try touching the screen with my finger, to see if that might work,...🙂...), but, it does e.g. allow you to move and slide the map, just like on a smart phone. I also liked the large display interface, bigger than 650, (I'm spoiled even further, by the excellent 2D Pop-up, provide…

been trying to get back to XP11 while I wait for MSFS to get sorted. I can still fly in MSFS but it's very frustrating with all the fps and stuttering stuff going on. Tried to do the flight I had been trying to complete in MSFS in X-Plane. Couple of shots for illustration. First - from MSFS then XP11 not trying to invoke yah-boo-sucks type comparisons here. I definitely would prefer to have my MSFS working but if they don't get it sorted soon I can live with XP for a while if necessary. Sort of. Kinda. If I really must. Oh, this is only true though with TrueEarth on top of XP (as here) or maybe Spain UHD (if you stay reasonably high)

Shalom and greetings all my pals, YIKES YIKES YIKES I have not published screenshots since last January and 3 millions worth of my screenshots have been piling up in my pc waiting for me to edit, research, and publish!! After purchasing 2 weeks ago the payware add on plane on sale for lousy nine bucks, please allow me to present darn simple screenshot flight report on flight testing of my very first Captain Sim 707 flight from FMMI Ivato International Airport located 16 km northwest of the city centre of Antananarivo which is the capital of Madagascar to FMEE Roland Garros Airport located 7 kilometres east of Saint-Denis in Sainte-Marie on island of Réunion of…
