The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Here, I continue (and wrap-up) my (virtual) adventure, further, to its (happy) conclusion,...🙂...I pick up, where I'd left off, in Part I, been in the Hold pattern at Fix BYRRD (see ND shot below). Through the windshield, I see nothing, except a vast whiteness (see 1st shot), occasionally, permeated by the dim light of the Sun, overhead, or the half-moon, on my side, as my 757 (faithfully) repeats the race-track pattern, at a constant speed (called BEST SPEED on the HOLD page) of 220 knots, LEG TIME of 2 minutes, and an altitude of 4000 feet. After having refreshed myself, with a bit of fuel, of my own, I now exit the Hold pattern, and set HDG towards the NZIR Rwy (genera…

[This post is triggered by the other (excellent) XCub post/image...] I came across a bit of Readme text, in an upload, from yesterday, as follows: "I love Bush Flying!! I have been flying the Norseman since FS2002. I so enjoy this aircraft that I made an FSX replacement panel and gauges....Hope you like the look and feel! I did the best I could on The VC..." These sentiments appealed to me...so, the aircraft and the individual specifics may be different, but, our passions are common...I guess...🙂... Bush flying (and Bush flying history) are fascinating aspects of aviation...and it's worth noting that bush-flying is not merely limited to the remotest an…

Took the BLL Club Crafters XCub Beta NX for a trip in PNG. Used SoFly 'UK Typical Spring Day' for the weather. Departed in OAT of 14C but by 9,000' had an OAT of -4C & icing, which surprised me. Removed the ice via the Ctrl + D, Systems.cfg hack. T45 Waiting to depart, South East PNG. Modestly lettered livery is by Morticus. Nosewheel by CarbonProp. So far so good. Typical English Spring weather. Icing up. (I find the light MSFS/SoFly is getting into scenes is stunning at times) Dropping down to find a pie & pint for lunch.

Vcol Beechcraft B99 on its way from Bastia-Poretta to Orly. Struck icing along the way. T45 Window de-ice kicks in quicker than for the rest of the aircraft.

This is the now no longer supported GTA edition of the H135. Haven't tried the latest version yet (later today. hopefully). But two of my favourite things here - Southend Pier (it's a nostalgia thing) and a helicopter. All I need now is a glass of Bushmills and a donut!
