The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

First of all, today, I noticed, excitement is now (fast) building for the first regional jet in MSFS, the AS CRJ...Caught Chock's exclamation over there, "...hey Aerosoft, just release the bloody thing already. 🤣..."....I guess, that sums it up well...🙂...!! Anyway, great news for MSFS...! I read up a bit about the SIM..., it appears, the variants will include 550/700/900/1000 (I didn't even know about the 550, a rebranded (and reconfigured) version of the CRJ-700, I understand). I know, many of us (me included), own/ed the (excellent) AS CRJ in FSX/P3D. My FSX/SE AS-CRJ (700/900 models) has been a great favorite of mine, and I'd even made a couple of posts on it, a while…

Junker planes were quite popular in the 1930s in PNG, so it was no wonder that in the 1950s, Australian WWII fighter ace and entrepreneur Bobby Gibbes decided to further develop his PNG forwarding business with three Ju 52, which he bought in Sweden. Why did he prefer the Ju 52 over the DC 3? The Junkers had the same and on occasion slightly higher load capacity and three instead of two engines, which gave Gibbes a higher safety margin. One of Gibbes pilots once remarked: "Those JUs were terrible things, heavy as a brick, but magnificent aircraft for the job. Imagine getting into the old Maprik strip, only 1,600 feet long, with a tri-motor carrying 7,500 pounds - as much …

I'm glad to see the (many) lovely 737MAX repaints and posts in MSFS...I wish to, also, note that, like most of us, the "737" was one of the first airliners, known to me, as part of my aviation interest,...my fascination with Aviation, precede, by many years, my interest and participation in this Aviation SIM, as a hobby. I especially recall the two (aviation) magazines that, in lieu of simming, kept my (early) interests up, "Airliner World" and "Airways", and, of course, those two magazines always used to publish (and still do, I'm sure) highly readable articles about "real" airplanes (as opposed to "virtual"), many of those articles being about the duo B737/A320, written…

Hi simmers 😉 Today i started from EDDL on a nice warm sunny Day and ended with that in Russia.. ( Live Weather ) cheers 😉 PS: Landed with a hard side Wind and that isn`t easy with the Flybywire mod because this is pretty well simulated, so the landing was a exciting thing but all went well - good for the passengers ! 🙃

Playing around with SoFly UK Light Snow & dusk time of day. One thing I learned is the 787-10 can float. To get it down I was hurriedly reducing flap and air brakes as it did a fair imitation of a magic carpet ride above the runway. T45

Been working for days on a merge, to get the Aerosoft Airbus (A320/A321) VC and functionality, into the Thomas Ruth freeware A330-200 model. After much pain, I have got results better than I expected. The merge was done by placing the Thomas Ruth A330 model, into the Aerosoft A321 IAE aircraft configuration. This worked far better than doing things the other way around (AS VC into the TR A330 aircraft). Work was needed to reset contact points, and I also reconfigured the fuel capacity - not to exact A330 specs, as this compromized the flight model too much - but I've got a range somewhere in between an A321 and a A330-200. Similarly, using exact A330 weigh…
