The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

On departure from MKY I had to "miss" the "areas of reduced visibility" ahem clouds! Apparently there was a marine layer this afternoon while traveling north towards KFMY Anyway enjoy these pics of a less popular aircraft! Having a look around New Zealand after discovering the NZA Simulations airfields & liveries. They are currently 'doing' NZ secondary airfields, such as Napier, Rotorua, Oamaru & Westport. Very well made freeware. The shots are from a flight between Rotorua & Wellington, via Napier, in the C172 Classic, wearing an NZ Coast Guard livery. Fictitious aircraft as, I read, the NZ Coast Guard uses C-182's. T45 Somewhere near Tokoroa, on the way South. The land around here reflects a volcanic history. Standard approach into Wellington for a Northerly landing. Aircraft is descending South over Cook Strait & will swing…

This is the first (2013) version of the CLS 747-100 and -200 series. Later versions I have also tried to port over, but I didn’t succeed. The tail still needs work, it is too dark Thanks for viewing

Hi fellow pilots Just a quick flight above the channel between 2 great freeware sceneries. From Wellesbourne Airfield - EGBW To Le Touquet Côte d'Opale - LFAT Short 1 hour IFR flight above southern UK, the channel, and the French North coast. With the French ALAT (Land Forces Light Aviation) livery ABS (which, in reality, is a TBM700).

First, this "Blue" (or should I say "Turquoise" Blue) livery was actually the one, which had hooked me into this (freeware) plane yesterday, but unfortunately, I discovered that a wing texture was missing in the repaint file, so, instead, I'd to fly the (equally nice) Yellow. Today, the author has added a texture fix for it. And, secondly, I feel, minimally, one takeoff and one touchdown are must, if not more, to orient oneself with (and to get money's worth from...🙂...) any new (virtual) Airport scenery/runway purchase. So, here, in this post, I've used this Private (German) Registration (D-ESHH) "Spartan Executive", in an attractive (light) Blue color, for showing a few…

In lieu of a native mid-sized airliner for MSFS being available which would suit Air Hauler 2 for cargo runs, I did a quick temporary livery and then converted and imported the Flight Replicas Canadair North Star/Argonaut. Works reasonably well, including the VC and autopilot, and it was comparatively cheap to lease in Air Hauler.

The "Spartan Executive" is a 1930's monoplane, that was popular among the affluent and wealthy of the day, but would not fit the definition of Executive "style" of today...especially with its (noisy) Wasp radial engine, see also note below,...(a CJ4 or a Longitude would fit the style, though,...🙂...especially at this Executive Airport, we're going to visit, here...). However, with my (next) Part II, you'll agree with me, this (scenic) airport, of this post, Le Castellet (LFMQ), is not only unique but pretty too... Regarding the aircraft, here, many of us might remember the Spartan Executive, from our (past) SIM years...I (fondly) recall Milton Shupe's Model since my …

As continuation of my previous post (Part I), please find here, as I catch (and snap) sights from this beautiful Airport, moving around with my companion "Bob". The Scenery Developers, FSX3D, have done an admirable job of the Airport, and it shows. As I'd stated earlier, they have an equivalent scenery of (LFMQ) for MSFS, too. But, noting that this scenery content is limited to the Airport vicinity; in my FSX, I (abruptly) lose continuity of scenery (i.e. back to the mundane), as soon as I leave the vicinity. But, for MSFS users, I'm expecting, even the default (MSFS) scenery, past the Airport, will make it not an abrupt transition, but would feel seamless and pleasant...…

I was and still am hoping that Asobo will create some method of painting airplanes thats easier than what I am currently doing (trying to do)...but it does generally work (so far). (not using blender or any modelling program) This is my first ever attempt to paint an aircraft. I used to make skies and clouds so I wanted to continue that concept. Ive never been one for trying to make a 'realistic' paint job anyway...I prefer fictitious. so here's two shots of a work in progress. still WAY unfinished and may actually never be finished but its good enough for me and I wanted to show off my work. from far away so you cant see the flaws 🙂 t…
