The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Whoo-hoo! Just happened to be in front of the PC when I got the email re the H145. So here it is, at the new URSS. Just loaded it up, ctrl-e, and up and away. I'll read the instructions later! Looks like fun, and obviously flies ok if I can just get straight up in it the way I did. Looking forward to getting to grips with it.

Same general trip as my previous post, but a different and more striking livery. Boy, I would really like an MSFS native version of this aircraft! another bouncy landing, this is on the bounce - but they build these things to survive! My favourite story about Soviet technology was to do with the space race. America spent (or so the story goes) close to a million bucks to come up with a pen that would work in zero gravity. The Soviets used pencils instead.

Following a conversation with @Sesquashtoo here, and his introducing me to this area on the edges of Phoenix, I went for a visit. Unfortunately, I don't feel Phoenix has been particularly well-served in the sim. The first few are with PG off, and the autogen is a bit hit-and-miss compared to some of the other US cities I've seen. But you can't argue with the setting, that's for sure. Heading east from the (not very nice) default airport turning north into Scottsdale I'm guessing that's the town centre up ahead have turned east again, towards Fountain Hills Feels like quite a separate conurbation out here, not as integrated as some of the other are…

Painting this one for my Air Force friends....took her on a "paint inspection" flight from KMIA to KTPA (that is my excuse to actually fly the planes I paint, LOL) Just picked up LatinVFR's KMIA....great scenery! I used the blue airplane logo on the stadium for IFR guidance (I Fly Rotundas) LOL Gentle turn (always fly this beast gently, esp in turns) to get on course to Tampa.... See ya' Miami! Beautiful sunrise.... She's a photogenic 'Gal! 🙂 Same angle a bit later in the morning Close up of the other side... About to head over the Everglades.... LOVE the wing views on this aircraft! There is St.…

While contemplating getting the F-14 I've been flying a few similar things in the sim to see if I really wanted it. Got the F-15 and it's a looker, but not totally sure about it for actually flying in - feels a bit awkward to move around. Got the Eurofighter Typhoon and I rather like that, but it's hard to keep it down below about 1000 kts without turning the speed-brakes on all the time, and then I thought I'd try some of my conversions. Hadn't done that since SU5 as I'd heard that conversions were playing up since then. And that's true.I have this MiG-29 and a J-15 Flanker and in both cases the cockpits are now pretty useless, in that not only are the instruments u/s (a…

The next chapter of Project Persia is almost complete! OIAW is an airport in the city of Ahvaz in the Khuzestan province of Iran. The Tehran - Ahvaz route is ranked amongst the busiest and most competitive domestic routes in the world (top 10) in terms of number of operators. It also covers the spectacular ancient Zagros mountains… Look out for an imminent release but in the mean time hope you enjoy the screenshots...
