The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  5. I got a copy of OPIS ( https://secure.simmarket.com/simarc-islamabad-international-airport-opis-msfs.phtml )some time ago, but have only just gotten round to exploring in that region. A supplies trip to Bagram seemed like a good idea, so that's what we've got here. I've split this in to two parts, as there are a lot of pix, and that's because I figure this is probably a region that doesn't get visited much by most folk and it is well worth a visit. First part is out from OPIS and west as far as the border with Afghanistan, around the Khyber Pass. Here we are at OPIS, Islamabad Intl - If you look closely, or have a large screen, you can just about see me in the d…

Well...where is Valencia (Spain) and where is Billund (Denmark)...(yes, far across, at two corners of Europe). Nonetheless, allow me to put them together, here, in this post, using the magic of our hobby...🙂... Iberia (airline), the flag carrier of Spain, is well known in our SIM (and also to the aviation enthusiasts). Founded in 1927, it's among the oldest airlines in Europe and the world. One cannot but be impressed by the who's who range of aircraft that the airline has utilized, over the past ~95 years, (see Wiki for Fleet), such as Boeing (727, 737, 747 (-100/-200/-300/400), 757, 767), L-1049, L-1011, and Douglas DC (-1/-2/-3/-4/-8/-9/-10) etc.. In late years, t…

  13. Airbus A300 will always hold a special place in the history of aviation. First of all, it was the very first official Airbus aircraft built, and, therefore, was also the one, that set the first number of the Airbus identifier string to "3" (just as Boeing had settled on "7")...otherwise, who knows we might be now flying A120neo (or A520neo)...🙂...instead of A320neo... On May 10, 1974, Airbus had delivered the world's first twin-engined wide-body commercial jetliner, the A300, to launch customer Air France, thus initiating the Airbus empire, as we know today. That would also mark the first ever delivery of an aircraft, designed, manufactured and marketed by the newbor…

  15. These shots are taken out from Punta Gorda, Florida at 7:00 am at 10,000 feet ASL. The morning sun glinting against the Bonanza Turbo's fuselage is beyond belief, as well as the other shots of the morning sun's rise. Also are my Graphic Settings that are now 'carved in stone'. Not changing them...

  24. [First of all, this post is motivated by a recent member post, here, about a Douglas C-47 in the livery of "Aeropostal" (please note no "e" at the end of the name...)...] I've long known the above two airlines (Aeropostal and Aéropostale), the former (without the "e") is from Venezuela (S.A.), and the other (with the "e") was an airmail company from Toulouse, France, and the genetic root of Air France. In one of my previous posts, I'd made a reference to Aéropostale, in connection with a few screenshots of the classic single-engined monoplane "Latécoère 28". I'd noted in that post, "The modern Air France, as we know it today, has a (birth) connection to Aéropostale (…

Hi simmers 😃 First longer Flight ( 3h 35min. ) after SU5, no CTD super smooth - flight was King Shaka Intl (FALE) to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Intl Airport (FIMP) Mauritius. Just no probs at all, some words to the settings: AI Traffic was off ( AI Traffic bug causes CTD`s ? ) and used a weather preset because of that heat degrees weather bug at higher altitudes using live weather.. cheers 😉
