The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

One of my favourite things in the sim is to get something like the Gravel, or the Ryan, or similar, and just go exploring not far off treetop height in a part of the world chosen more or less at random. In this case I took the Gravel out from Syracuse, KSYR (which is not shown here but is very well done in the sim) and headed vaguely south for maybe 30 - 40 miles, just spotting the countryside (which, as an aside, is one of Stephen Fry's more amusing definitions - "Countryside - the killing of Piers Morgan"). Eventually putting down into a little strip - Courtland Co-Chase (N03). Great scenery all the way, plenty of trees and valleys and a rather fine looking place to set…

OK, I got your attention...🙂...but that's true...we all know this plane well...(BTW, I'm always glad to see and enjoy the beautiful 787 screenshots, here, from MSFS...although, that 787 variant is a -10, I believe, which, as we speak, is being continuously modded and improved by the community, as I understand...). The 787 program was launched on April 26, 2004, with initial orders from ANA (All Nippon Airways)...subject airline of this post. 787 maiden flight was in 2009, first delivery (to ANA) was in 2011, and, we also recall the well-chronicled 2013 (January-through-April) grounding incidence related to the plane's battery and electrical system...As of July, 2021,…

Lovely bit of scenery from Superspud (just one of several great pieces), and hadn't been there since the last update so time for a visit out from St Mary's and over to Tresco Tresco International below us back over the main island, heading on to EGHE It's so unusual for me to land so precisely lined up that I just had to post this one If you've not got this scenery (from .to) - why not?

Just a few of some of my recent flights in various aircraft. Spitfiring around the USA, this is one of 2 x Spits in my collection, both are great reproductions of the WWII flying machines. Dwarfed by the clouds in the Goose. And I've added some new water effects, here I'm tuning the contact points for those effects. What airports is this ??? (hint - it's a QLD airport). What airport is this ? (hint - it's a QLD airport). What airport is this ? (hint - it's a QLD airport). What airport is this ? (hint - it's close to the highest p....). What lake is this ? (…

Was thinking of getting Pacsim's KRNO, so went to check out the default and the surrounding area as I usually do before buying anything, and was pleasantly surprised. The airport itself is ok'ish as a default (I haven't decided about the Pacsim one yet) but I was well impressed by the surrounding city and neighbourhood. I'm not usually a fan of PG but this looks almost acceptable. I've taken to leaving it turned on by default as I've found it showing up reasonably well in some surprising places lately. But it still has some truly awful spots as well - Naples and London (still) spring to mind particularly. But when it's not too melty I'm beginning to quite enjoy it, as lon…
