The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Unknown (to me) airlines fascinate me more, especially the ones that had lasted and provided service for decades. Today, while reading a bit about cargo a/c and cargo airlines, I came across a name I knew before, Arrow Air, a Miami based Cargo airline. I distinctly recall, from our SIM, Arrow Air DC-8s, probably because, in its fleet, the airline had operated as many as 23 DC-8 freighters (-50/-60/-70 variants), in addition to other heavy-lifters such as L-1011s, DC-10s, B707s, B747s etc. Cargo fans (or should I say Cargo fanatics...🙂...) might recall the attractive color of Arrow Air, the livery consisting of a white forward fuselage, with blue and green to the rear of t…

Most of my oceanic travels were either on 777 (UA) or 330 (LH)...(I believe LH still flies its 330s)... 330 was a nice long-haul plane...as I recall... Caught this Tom Ruth A330-200 variant, today, in the Library...Enjoy...!

Ok it is not a "standard" procedure to pushback this airplane, but to "try anyway" it seems a "dangerous" maneuver 😅

Got the OIIE mentioned here a week or so back, and very nice it is too. Also a bit of Tehran scenery (here - https://flightsim.to/file/4725/iran-tehran-pack-v1 ), so thought I'd share a few images. And over in the city itself Coming up on the Milad Tower ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milad_Tower ) Nice view from here! Never a dull moment, eh?

Asobo Kingair 350i in Sweden. Weather set to Rain. I found I can get MSFS running ok by pulling the Community folder aside & adding back discrete items. So far all the Orbx airports & mesh I have are back in & 'Fly' button to 'take off time' is about 2 minutes. With complete Community folder it would not get to the departure airfield. T45

ORBX Mumbai landmark scenery, The yacht is for FSX from Deltasim Having been to Mumbai many times on business, this scenery was an instant must have. I only hope that the developers will one day also add Dehli, because this part of the world desperately needs more quality coverage. Like in the good old days, I arrived at my destination by boat. But of course I did not expect to get the royal welcome treatment 🙂 Instead nobody bothered, which was fine of course My preferred stay in Mumbai was the Taj, and if possible a room in the old wing. It gives you the feeling that the days of the Raj are back …

Was forced back into painting when the DC6 came out for MSFS (hehe...had good friends who wanted some paints, and painting retirement gets dull after a while) 😆 Anyway....here is the Everts Air Cargo "Blue Canoe" If you closely under the horizontal tail, you can see the mottled dirt effect I added. This bird is (or was) kept pretty clean, but she'll still get a little more dirt before I'm done. In this pic you can see, along with the Hamilton-Standard logos, I also added the MFG and Serial numbers as I saw them on a closeup pic of the real thing (no, I could not get the actual serial numbers for each blade, and if I could, sadly the props ar…

I was watching some YouTube videos covering the arrivals at Oshkosh 2021 & there were some stunning C195 liveries coming through, with a focus on art deco colors. This lead to me hauling out the Alabeo C195 for a flight out of Old Warden in a classic vintage radial powered aircraft. T45 (P3D v4.5)

More shots of enyoying the new Ryzen 3800X... this CPU is quite a great drop in improvement. The USA Pacific South West near Skagit Regional airport in the venerable Ant TigerMoth Pro, can be a real pain to start at times. I've just installed a new livery on the Embraer B120. And dropped my GTN 750 into it along with a few xml mods to make it easier to manage the condition levers and the fuel cuts (reduce pitch to bottom value, feather, then hit the fuel cut levers - R then L) Didn't perform maintenance like I should have, engine is a little unhappy... I thought I wasn't going to make it to the airport what wi…
