Hallo to allI just made my prototype of the navradio. It will consist out of a front and a backlayer to get a 3d effect. On the pic you see the backlayer. The dimensions are as the real thing (67 x 146 mm)I will use 5 10 mm 7segm leds. The openings for the leds are 52 x 13 mm. The height of the 7 segm led is 13 mm , so iy will fit exactly. The front layer will have a opening that is 1 mm less.But... The pcb for the 10 mm leds will have a connection at the left. (it is shown on the pic). These are so big that teh righthand display will interfere with the lefthand display. Perhaps I could solder the flatcable direct to the pcb. But even then I would not have enough space for t…

Hi all Is there a kind of switch (similar to a rotary) with momentary (on)-off-(on) where you could turn -45 0 +45 deg and it would return to 0 when you release it. I know momentary toggle and rocker switches , but is there any like the one I'm describing? What is it call and where can I find those? ThanksLeo

I'm looking at the options for a multiple PC/multiple monitor setup.Know about WideFS, WideView etc and the various glass cockpit options (PM, Glass FD, Free FD etc).Came across the freeware FlightSim Manager though. I'd heard of it before for it's install/setup management functions but, after downloading it, noticed it has some sort of remote views functionality as well...Has anyone used it for that purpose and what can it do? It seems to suggest guages on client machines as well as views (I think WideView is 'limited' to only views since it uses the slew function)Any comments?

Hi, I need to get the color code from the gray that my real panel has to Ken from DS. Only in this way he could make panels one day compared to which my real panel doesn't look different.Anyone know if there is a place I can go to have it scanned or analysed ? Or should I compare to colorbooks from Revell or something like that ?

Is there a program, or a way to modify an aircraft panel to assign keystrokes for panel functions that are normally controlled by a mouse click?I'm using a Hagstrom LP24 emulator and I would like to get a little more functionality out of the aircraft panels using real switches instead of being tied down to a mouse for switch functions.I'm using the Probst B727 panel with an FFX B727 using FS2K2. Any help or direction would be most appreciated.

Hi guysI am experimenting to try and get the most out of my Dell 3300Mp lcd projector.Daylight scenes are fine but night scenes lack the darkness due to light from the bulb shining through and creating a greyish eefect. My question is has anybody used a silver paint for there screen like the professional screens and if so what were the results like? I am hoping to get the night scenes much darker with better contrast for things that are lit eg runway lights etccheers keith

Hi Every bodyI have now build the stepper-board and the flash board, and I could flash the stepper board and read it again, but then:I connected it to the FSCOM first time and flash the CID, and then i connected it again to the FSCOM, and then all my lights in my cockpit light up, and i quickly disconnected the stepper board again. Now nothing is funktion in my cockpit, the FSKEY, FSDO, FSDISPLAY and the FSSERVO nothing is now working, but i can flash all the boards without no problem. I have the 5 volts from the FSCOM and all so the LED is working on the FSCOM.And it also not possibel to flash the new stepper-board any more, every time i get a "Divice missing" error. Can a…

  19. Hi guysI just have my cnc up and it is working perfect. Making panels from perspex works fine. Now I am trying to make fsbus pcb's with it. (it is even possible to make smd pcb's with this mill).Problem: I am not an experienced cad person. When I import the fsbus gerber files into my cam sw (kcam) I see faults in the layout. I adjusted these by exporting a dfx file to my cad sw (BobCad). Now I have good layout, but before importing this to the cam software I want to introduce an offset for the mill. This is done by RamsGold. This software tels me that there are interruptions in the dfx layout. Well I do not see them. Perhaps I have to dig deeper into the cad software to se…

Hi! I've just moved house and it gives me the opportunity to streamline my set-up. To cut down on the clutter, I'm tempted to use one mouse, keyboard and monitor for 3 computers (these computers incidentally will be running Project Magenta's Airbus FCU, MCDU and Overhead logic from HCSDT).The Adderview GEM4 (AVG34) has caught my eye.http://www.kvmswitchdirect.co.uk/acatalog/...mputers_10.htmlIs anybody using a similar setup and does it work without problems?! :-)Best wishes,Darren Sugdenwww.sugden.karoo.net
