i've formatted my hard disk, and i've reinstalled radar contact.when i open the program the id number in the registration box is different from the first time; so i've changed it with the first original id number and i've inserted my registration key.when i click on " register" it accepts my key, but when i reopen the program i must register again

Hello, I would like to install RC2.2 into FS2002 and need to install Nav3.0 first. The install instructions for Nav say to "create a scenery list", I am not sure how to do this.Can anyone give me a hand?I have the install instructions for Nav3.0 FS2000, are these the same for FS2002??? HelloI'm preparing a set of FSNAT scripts for LFPG scenery from Wilco airport 2002 vol.1.I may want to share these scripts for free once finished. I can add the 14 wav files into my FSNAT scripts (if i'm not using radar contact in the same time :) ), at my home. But for other users ? Are these files copyrighted as a part of radar contact addon?If you answer this yes, would you give an authorization to give them as free in my scripts ?If you answer last one no, is there a website to download wav files chatter (especially from french ground control haha :) ) ?Thanks :)

When I fly IFR, ATC vectors me on to final. My question is, do I need to bother having approach plates and STARS? Is this only needed at airports that don't have ILS capabilities and also when I fly VFR?Thanks for any help clearing this up for me.

Hello JD!I'm not sure where I need to post this, but if this is not the right place, please let me know for future reference. I just finished doing a test run with 3.01 from KAUS to KDAL. Everything went without a hitch, except for three things:1. When you hand the COMMS off to Otto before pushback from the gate, the ATIS, Clearance, Ground, and Ground handoff happens too quickly. It feels as if the controllers want to get it over with and hand me off in no time. This is probably a little realistic but it just seems too quick.2. There were two points during my flight where Otto stopped flying the aircraft and I had to take over. Once I took over and fixed the mess,…

Hello JD!After been away for two months, I finally returned to reading the forums and I am surprised to learn that 3.01 is available. I just finished downloading the file and finished browsing the forum for messages related to 3.01, including the "mammoth" e-mail about 3.01 bug reports. First of all, I can't find anywhere a list of what 3.01 enhances over 3.0 and what has been added/enhanced/fixed. Second, I can't find anywhere a set of instructions of how to properly install 3.01 and properly upgrade 3.0. I read in one of the posts that the upgrade is a pain - blah - blah - blah!!!! Hey there all, I need to see if I can get help on this one. Just added an afcad work of art to DTW and new scenery released on AVSIM and all works great until I try to fly out of or into with RCV3. It doesn't see it in the program. When I look at my work on FS2002 down view, yep all the new runways are there, all AI traffic moving now on taxi ways as they should with new Scenery. GPS shows all the right numbers, but RCV3 keeps vectoring to for example 3C and it is not in the new plan. So, how do I get RCV3 to see this? Oh, I am really using the RCV3.1 sorry. Is there anyway to avoid a "goaround"? Three times in a row while approaching ABE airport in my Archer I was told to go around. I'm cleared to land five miles out on the ILS when I'm told to goaround. The flight should have been thirty minutes and with the lengthy goarounds it was about ninety minutes. It only takes one hour to drive! Is it normal to receive three in a row? I never got a chance to land. My three sliders on the options screen were at zero with exception of chatter. Thanks.

I've been using RC v3 with no problems since it was released. Then this week I noticed that whenever my pilots voice wavs were playing the sound would cut in and out and usually if it was a long transmission the sound would go off completely. I first thought it was a loose cable connection somewhere, but I then it only happens when my pilot wavs play so it can't be cable issues (I checked the connections they are all tight). I haven't added any new programs or drivers to the PC in a long time. This is a strange problem, any help is welcome. THanks!!

Hi every one, I fly every night from point A to B. Last night I flown three times, each time I coming closed to arrival air port 60nm, control divert me to hold. How I can avoid the holding option? or how I get rid off the hold? because it takes me long time until the control give me clear to off the holding . thank youahmedk

The past 3-4 flights I've done, regardless of what altitude I put into the controller page, CD tells me to expect flight level 600. If I minimize FS and look at RC, it says 600 in the altitude box. I'm 100% positive I put the correct alt in there.Should I re-install RC? What d'ya think?Thanks, Adam

Now that I have familiarised myself with RC 3.0 I will start getting into the newly implemented realistic stuff we never had to worry about before. I will be back with more questions. The first is, can someone explain to me the general rules for choosing alternate airports, re: distance from main destination, size/type of aircraft etc. The relevant FARs would be of help as well as how to choose one in the sim. Where could I find out real alternates used by particular airlines for particular flights. Just thought of something what if I'm flying to say Medeira or Nauru and the nearest alternate is really far away?? Thanks.

This is an old DP (Rockies3), but the principle is the same.On the DP, you see all the Westbound routes out of KDEN, with the transition points to the airways, or routes to the airways on VORs.Notice the Dove Creek transition has a fairly convoluted path, with a fix as a turn point, and not a navaid or intersection. 1. How do I add a new callsign. I have worked thru the manual but can find nothing. I found a place to add the text to controler and pilot scripts and also found a small utility which appears could be used for this, but no instructions. Can anyone help.2. Hi,I have RC3 installed on a client machine,it worked perfectly untill Today.Now when I start it up and load my FS200x plan and try to open the options page it crashes to the desktop,with the error "run time error 713 you need the following File to be installed on yor machine MSSTDFMT.dll".I have copied the file to the client machine in system32.Still wont work any ideas ??sanity3d

I downloaded new AdvDisplay 2.0 And in that folder there was "show AdvDisplay Text"But it seemes no difference with AdvDisplay 2.0.I am not good at English I often get confused especially when hearing from the ATC. So a text is very useful to me.Ideally all the spoken words displayed on the text field would be nice.But even for those who have to take great pains in studying English this RC is really fun !

I have noticed that when Otto is flying the plane, the altimeter is not always set correctly (ie: FSMeteo altimeter is 29.87 but Otto sets the altimeter at 29.94). This usually happens during descent and after getting ATIS weather for the arrival airport (but not always). I know it is linked to Otto flying, because I took over the flying and was able to reset the altimeter to the correct value. I am currently using v3.01, but this also happened with v3.00.

Hello, I am trying to practice HOLDs rather then VECTORs for any delays at the arrival airport but I am not sure how to interpret the ATC instructions. For example, on Page 33 of the V3 Manual, and I quote from the text: ".....expect further clearance one four two five." Can someone expand on the 'one four two five' as I don't seem to be able to understand these last instructions for it doesn't seem to make sense.
