HiLast night and a while back RC3, plus the patch, decided to forget about me in the final stages of decent and vector to final. I was flying into Norfolk, VA last night and was asked to descend to 7000 and turn to 225 ready for an ILS approach into runway 5. After 15 minutes and about a distance of 50nm I had not received any instructions to do anything. I called up approach declared an emergency and was again instructed to turn to a new heading and again nothing. Finally I had to go visual.Has anybody experienced this and is there some sort of reason for this. To cap it all off my traffic let me down leaving a 727-200 on the runway. Hi guys,I was thinking of purchasing RC3 and have a couple of questions.With FS9 due out this year with new ATC features,I'm wondering if RC3 will be compatible with it and how much better it will be than this new FS version.Brett

Just wondering if anyone else has run into this before. Last night I made a flight from LAX to KBGR in the Posky 767-200 ER, I just updated Active Sky to 1.6 and updated Lago's FS Maintenace and wanted to check every thing out. I had Active Sky, RC3, and FS Maint all up and running, I'm also using My Traffic, have the lattest FSUIPC installed and was flying a course generated by the FS2k2 flight planner. Everthing was going great, I was receiving vectors for traffic (AI and simmed), hitting all of my waypoints, requested and received a drop in cruise altitude from FL35 to FL33. The 767 was having difficulties maintaining FL35 with a full load (FS Maint was yelling …

Hey Gang!I've downloaded and installed some of the updated chatter files and such available out there. I know that one of the options is to be able to change your co-pilot, but for the life of me, I cannot find where I can do that. Can someone guide me in the right direction??? I saw on avsim today that a program called speech buddy has been released to allow speech to replace keyboard commands. The program also uses FSUIPC in FS2K2. Does anyone know if this program will work with RC?BillKORD

I beleive I lost the path for RC3 in the modules because when I ran flightsim and click on modules, their is no link for RC3 ATC window. All I have is Fsuipc.. I beleive this happened when Fusipc suddendly dissapeared from flightsim and I had to reinstall it..Is there anyway I can get the RC3 window back in Modules without having to reinstall RC3?Oh by the way, this is a registered copy.ThanlsTroy

Is there an option to stop the copilot from switching the comm control back to me during final approach?? And when trying to switch back to copilot she switches it right back to me. Very annoying when landing.Bill M

This happens using my FSNavigator flight plan from SFO to LAX landing on runway 24L. Using both PSS 747 and Airbus. During approach, level at 10,000 feet into LAX, Center says "United 55, contact Arrival on 128.5". Copilot responds and contacts Arrival, "United 55 with you at 10,000". Arrival comes back with "roger, contact Arrival on 125.05". Copilot contacts Arrival with "United 55 out of 10,000 for 7,000". No clearance to descend was recieved prior the copilot's transmission. No problem getting to the requested altitude, but the clearance to descend is somehow blocked out. The same thing occassionally happens on other flights, but I did not document them as above.Re…

Does anyone else have issues with visability going down to bascically zero when changing views?I have this problem with all of my aircraft and it is bugging me greatly.The reason that I am posting here is it only seems to happen when using RC. I am also using FSMeteo and FSUIPC 2.95Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Cheers!

I have just purchased Radar Contact V3. The problem I have encountered is that when I try to use Dream fleets, 737-400 the FMC creates an error message and will not run. As soon as I uninstalled RC it resolved the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can overcome this problem.As you can tell I am new to Flight Simmming so any help would be very much appreciatedPeter

I think Radar Contact V3 is an excellent program, but I have a problem which I seem to be stuck with. If I decide to load weather conditions which includes anything other than the standard QNH of 1013, either by FS2002 weather planner or FS Meteo, I get the ATIS message with my correct QNH value okay, but when I reach cruise altitude I am given warning by ATC about busting my altitude which continues until I receive the usual reprimand etc. On requesting an altimeter check I still get confirmation of my original QNH setting (as given by FS Meteo etc) and as per the original ATIS message.Any suggestions where the problem lies??Thanks.Supashades.:-newbie

I am using RCV3 and activesky wxRE online mode. When I leave to get destination weather @ 50nm I get the wind at my present altitude, usally 10,000 feet AGL. When I land the wind is completely different from the report. Although I have put destination in the box in Activesky wxRE (kord) I have not checked the "Force" box, could this be an activesky wxRE problem or something with RCV3? thanks, Tom

Hi JD/DT,planned a short flight from LGIR to LCEN.When tried to import the flightplan in RCv3 i noticed there was no data in the Arrival apt section of controller info!So, can you please tell me how can i add LCEN data (apt+navaids+ILS)?Think i should add data in a.txt and NAVs.txt, but, where can i find those data? Hi!I managed to set most FS2k2-commands working with Speechbuddy, the PSSAirbus, FDC and RC! Arm spoilers", "Spoilers up", Gears, Flaps, all panel commands such as overhead, pedestal, fmc, hence, the checklist commands for FDC e.g. "start checklist" and "set correct" after correcting. I am able to acknowledge key 7 by saying "Roger, swiss 615 heavy" or "Roger and switch Swiss 615 heavy" instead of key 1. Speechbuddy takes over all commands!Special thanks to Dirk (Flachi), who patiently explained how to fiddle with all the rules and commands. It takes simply only two files for pure realism which I can forward by email. Sam, LSZH

JD:First off: Just wanted to let you know that I'm flying with Project Magenta and RCV3.1 and I am absolutely enjoying it. The new /realtime option is giving me great realism in the ATC voice speed - finding myself having to really pay attention to those vectors! :-)My question is this:When flying the Modesto Two Arrival into KSFO, ATC has me at 10000' when crossing CEDES intersection. From CEDES there is a 14 mile leg to FAITH intersection and the FAITH intersection is 21 miles from KSFO. After crossing CEDES, I am left at 10000' until about 5 miles from FAITH (rougly 26 miles from RWY). AT that point, I am then told to maintain 9000' and immediately given the vecto…

I am having a bit of a problem with RC3 not recognizing my filed flight plan. Here's the scenario:1. I setup a flight plan in FS2k2 and select Find Route and set altitude.2. I save and load this flight plan.3. I then load RC3 and load the saved flight plan.4. I re-create the flight plan in the GNS530 (Meridian).5. Once in the air RC3 gives me the flexible departure option.6. I set the GPS mode on the Garmin and let the autopilot fly the course.7. RC3 keeps telling me that I am off course and instructs me to fly a heading 180 degrees in the opposite direction to get back on course.What am I doing wrong here?

Here is a copy of a short flightplan I am using with RCV3. It is not working. Last time I had mistakenly added a waypoint too close to the airport, but this time, I made the NDB ANI a bearing point (not a waypoint). I am flying this in the background, and at the moment I am still being vectored waaaay out. Are my problems because the airports are so close to each other?
