I cannot use the above I do not Know what I'm doing wrong. Ive cut &passed my Key into the relevant area , when I re-launch I Still see"Product Key " !!!!!! No key No ?????I also cannot load any saved flight plans (Saved as FS2002.PLN Files)in FSNAV the Flight Plan * box on the main screen remains greyed out ?????Can some one please help - Its driving me insane & a refund is on theCards !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!RegardsKevs

I took 3.1 for a spin tonight and was having a heck of a time with it. Every time after initial contact with the controller I would get no controller voice - just the 7/CS option in the advdisp. Hate to start so many threads but don't see any other way to get help. This morning I started on the ramp at Piedmont - Triad Intl, got clearance (3.1 Beta) to taxi to RW 23. I pulled in behind a Delta jetliner and followed it. There was another Delta flight leaving the gate at this time. Once the jetliner moved onto the active I switched to Tower, was told to hold short....the usual "one minute delay" comment. Before I could go on the active the other jetliner drove over me with the usual Collision and reset. Is there any way RC 3.1 can detect that situation and prevent it. If not, how acan I avoid it without taxiing off the taxiway?

Hi folks,it happened several times during last weeks :-(When on short final and stable on glideslope, suddendly i find myself below GS and alarm come to life: GLIDESLOPE, GLIDESLOPE, GLIDESLOPE...So i have to disable AP and manually land the plane (usually FFX 737 coupled with DF panel).What should i do at this point?Any help greatly appreciated.Thanks in advanceLuigi ;-)

thanks to jd and a couple of other posts I learned that my #11 and #12 folders needed updating. While checking the winwood directory though I found that #88-#90 are empty. Is this normal? Also there are NO folders 13 through 87. I have installed RC3 and the 01 update plus the beta 3.1 which I am using now. Any words of wisdom appreciated. I really like RC and want to get it properly "tuned".Thanks in advance.

Decided today to try a short IFR flight in the MAAM R4D. Left Raleigh-Durham with no problems, flew to Liberty VOR, contacted approach at Piedmont Triad Int. Requested an ILS to rw 23 and was cleared ok but then decided to try a vector. This went very nicely and I was vectored to a good approach position. Unfortunately, after being cleared to contact tower I never received any further communications. The text box had the "1 to acknowledge, and CS/ to repeat" messages but that was it. After landing, the text went to the "contact ground, etc" but still no voices. I downloaded and installed the wavsupdate03. Did I miss something? Please advise.

Upgraded to latest beta, from 3.0 and now cannot get RC to start. I get an error code as soon as I try to open RC. hello everyone,my problem is when I use RC & CLASSIC S COMBO it seems there's a conflict between them and I get an error massage.I have to get out of full screen,confirm the error,and just then have the s combo work.as soon as I use RC again the same error occur and I have to repit the process I've mentioned again and again.need help.

Can one be on the groung before loading a saved situation or must one be in the air?I use Dreamfleet 737 and Just Flight 777 with FMC and advdisplay on a separate monitor. Will RC save all these settings?For example: Can one fire up a 'cold' PC, load weather, FS, and load a saved situation from RC and expect to be where one saved without first becoming airborne?Hope I've explained myself clearly.David

Hi friends,i have two simple questions for you:1)When i open RCv3.1 Controller Info page i can see that Transition Levels are not stick to 180 at any time as in previous v3.01, but from time to time those values change; is that normal? Hi, I am running the latest build of RC, but I cant asign the Ctrl conbination in the keys for RC, RC responds to the single numbers (Default) but when I customized RC to include the Ctrl in the commands it does not respond at all.It happened with version 3 and 3.01Any help will be appreciated, as I dont see this problem in the forum.Running FSUIPC and Avdisplay on the Latest versions. WinXP. no other add ons and default airplanes.

Hi,I've prepared a set of 5,7 Mo of real ATC chatter files, to cover every approach and departure in France, for radar contact V3.It features about 25 new sounds files recorded at Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle approach frequency. Most of them are available and believable to hear them everywhere in France, a part of them are especially good for LFPG App/Dep because you can hear about Concorde, Roissy, De Gaulle, Paris Control etc.. Can someone tell me what the key combination to save both the radar contact and FS2002 state is. I see in the key list that it is shift+ ctl+ (some character that I do not reconize.) I used to use shift+;but that no longer works.

JD - I flew into KDEN a few times this week and it seems that the transition to Appr is made very late. In one flight, I was 20 miles from the airport and still at 15000 before told to contact approach and getting my descent and runway vectoring. Also, I was yelled at for not having my airspeed at 250 knots while level at 15000. I thought the "max 250 KIAS below 10000" was 10000 MSL, not AGL! :)-michael

Hi can somone help me over come a problem i have with never knowing what run way will be in use at my destination. last night set a flight from Newark down to Orlando,i had down loaded real weather and i also have UT on my system. Nearing Orlando i was cleared to leave frequency for a ATIS report, which told me the runway in use for landing was 35. With it being a bit hazzy on finals i didn't see the runway till close, but then realised that every one else was using 17. Did i do somthing wrong?,is there a other way of finding out which runway is in use. Thanks in advance. Shaun.

Hi guys,From the beginning of using RC (now a few months ago) we encountered a serious problem. We are using RC with 767PIC and FS Navigator together. After asking for weather information (ATIS) in preflight situation by pressing 1 it is almost impossible to click some button on the panel (inclusive overhead, pedestal, FMC). By the first click FS2k2 will freeze and crashes. It does not make any difference on what button on the panel we click. A single time we can come through this first stage but then we get the same problem while enroute. Any click anywhere on the panel results in a crash.We are using the most recent versions of RC, FSUIPC and ADVDISP. Are there any know…

JDHave completed two flights, one from CYXD-CYMM and CYYC-CYXD and I have lost all communication with center after hand off from departure. x( Although the AdvDisp is showing that I have to acknowledge (7) a command that was given by center, it is not heard at all. I can hear all clearance delivery, ground, tower, departure and approach commands given to me but nothing from center. This problem seems to have started after I performed the complete wave file updates from Scott as it was working fine prior to the updates. The clearance to General Aviation, Ramp, Cargo, etc. seem to be working fine, but not sure what happened with Center. Have you heard of this problem and/or…

I am finding that when flying below the transition altitude under Centre control, the controller calls with an altimeter check every 10 miles. My understanding that this should only happen every 100 miles or if there has been a pressure change. I am using ActiveSky 1.85 and RC3.01 (the problem was not apparent when using RC3.0) with transition levels set at 180.RC is a great programme but the too frequent altimeter check calls I am experiencing are a frustration. As I have been unable to resolve the problem myself, any help would be appreciated.

Back around 1973 I was allowed to visit the Minneapolis Center and also later the KMSP tower. I think I asked at that time if any controller screens showed any kind of weather info, particularly during TRWs, to allow them to vector aircraft around dangerous areas. I am a tech and aware of radar principles icluding that they generally require precip to render a return.I seem to recall that the ARTTS III (?) system in place did not show any storm info. I am curious if that still is generally true today, including shared tower radar for approach and departure.Just trivia but someone here might be able to answer. Thanks.
