I've got major troubles. Im using a Radeon 8500 graphics cardVersion 2.0.197 at the minute (clean install)I also tried the European patch update and I got errors. I really need more basic steps.Many Thanks

whenever I add a file to FLY!II and then start the sim I get anerror message and the sim never starts until I make the followingchanges.I must go into Windows Explorer and find FLY!IIsystem and delete Auto save.sit the to FLY!IIaircraft and delete any .hst filesit will then boot-up.Is there anything I can change in the .cfg file??Any help sure will be appreciated by FORUM or E-mail.Thank [email protected]

I can't seem to get the speed warning light for Flaps to extinguish. In this particular shot, I realize I am flying too fast for flaps. But the light is on on the ground, not moving, on approach, etc. Any tips? Also note the OBS indicator in the lower-left. Clearly off. Ihave just made a water mask for my new London scenery and when I previewed it on my work computer the water areas were a 'tastful' light blue. However back on my home computer I get a mid-gray.There are different video cards on each machine one, 32mb the other 64mb. I have not changed any water values in the 'ini'files although I have looked up previous posts regarding changing water transparency. Before I 'play that game' I thought I'd find out what others see as the water value.This is a screenshot (if I can attach it ok) of the home machines gray version.

Iwami is the scond airport in my Japanese airports series I'm working on. It's been uploaded at AVSIM and should be available for download soon.Iwami is a samll local airport with no taxiway and only one jetway. It's located in southern Shimane prefecture and faces the Sea of Japan. If you have my Hiroshima airport, you can now enjoy a short flight between RJOA and RJOW and take in the scenery from above.Enjoy!P.S. Will be away for a week. Going to Kobe to visit my in-laws.

I need some help with the ATC within fly. I do not use the ATC. But it keeps asking me if I copy. I change the freq and it still does this.

I just bought Fly2 from Sam's Club for $8.99...couldn't resist at that price, unfortunately I have not been able to get it installed.The autorun screen pops up, then the initial setup box where it says it is setting up autoinstall..it then stops at 99%..nothing else happens...I've tried it 4 or 5 times...I can hear the CD accessing, but nothing else happens...I am currently copying the CD content to my hard drive to see if it works from there.Bad CD???Fly2 maybe doesn't work with XP ????

Hallo FlyII-UsersTo make my LOAN and LOGF scenery work with Helmut Mayers mesh scenery, you have to do following:With LOAN V1: nothingWith LOAN Update: Remove my D011166.POD, which contains my elevation data for LOAN.with LOGF: Remove my D011165.POD, which contains the elevation data and the scenery file. Add LOGFMESH.POD, which contains only the scenery file. It should be available at AVSIM this evening.I think, you don't have to alter any .SCF-File as he suggested.I use Helmuts mesh since it was beta an i really recommend it. On my System i created a directory flyIIsceneryaustria and copied his and my .SCF and .POD-Files in this directory and it works without problems.H…

Hello, I see some great shots coming from users of Fly!II, (I come FS2002) and I am of the opinion that Fly!II is better. I want to know how to make my Fly!II virtual world better? e.g Sceneries, tweaks to the render.ini etc. I see some reat clods too, I do I set these up because the default clouds don't look that great! Unfortunately due to a HD crash 6 months ago I had more or less stopped following the flight sim community for a period of time. I just popped back in here in time to see Rich Harvey's comments about the status of Fly. The thread is locked now but I couldn't resist adding my $0.02. (In fact it's been so long I forgot my avsim login and had to make a new one just for this post :)IMHO, FlyII is the best thing to happen to PC flight simming, probably ever. Pascal... I think this might be an answer to your cloud question from the screen shot forum...I used the default Fly!II sky in those shots. To darken the clouds, I think (it has been a long time) I changed the scalar values in the fly.ini file...
