Hi,I'm making a newe AI traffic file for EHAM. Everything works fine for the European routes. But I just added 3 Northwest flights and there it goes wrong. There are enough parking spaces.NW 067 from VABB arrives 10 minutes late causing problems with KLM Exel.NW 062 from KJFK just pops up at the gate at the time it should landNW 068 From KDTW doesn't arrive at all.I already tried to revers the legs but it has the same problem. Anyone knows how to fix this. I use default B747 with added livery for northwest. Myself as well as many others have been spending a great deal of time watching the fruits of our labour, taxi, takeoff and land at our favorite airports. It really is fun. :-)It would be cool if it were possible to visually scan the airport in either direction from tower view. If it is, I'm not aware of a good way of doing it ?Some sort of plane spotting utility would be great !!SteveCYYZ

I just received an email requesting that a post that was made earlier in here not be removed. I cannot accede to that request. I have removed that post as it violates our polices, and puts AVSIM at risk. Whether there are merits to the accusation or not is something that we (AVSIM) cannot judge, or are we willing to get in the middle of. I just downloaded the AFCAD files for KDEN and KSFO for Airport 2000 Vol 2. I am having a very strange thing happening. I did the normal thing to add the files. There is one problem, when I go to these airports and place the plane on the runway the plane is to the right of the runway. I went into AFCAD to see where the plane was postioned according to AFCAD and it was according to the diagram positioned to the rignt also. To check it I went into FS2002 and removed the Wilco scenery but left the plane sitting to the right of the runway. To my surprise the plane was sitting in the middle of the runway of the FS2002 scenery. I went back to AFCAD and looked again and t…

Ok, first off, I have nothing bad to say about this tool. I absolutely love this tool, as I posted in another forum it has changed my outlook on MSFS.Now, to my problem, in fact it is quite possibly not the fault of TTOOLS. I recently made up some flights plans to and from KMIA and MYNN, MYNN and KFLL, MYGF and KMIA, and so on, and so on.Using a Dash 8 in Bahamasair colors, and also a 737-400 in Bahamasair colors. I have checked the entries in the aircraft.cfg file, and the needed entries are correct. But, when I am listening to them depart any of the locations in ATC, the 737-400s say they are AVIATECA, and the dashs say they are AMERICAN PACIFIC. I am lost as to wh…

In my neverending anal-rententive quest for simplicity and organization, I've finally developed a way to keep my aircraft.txt file easier to maintain. I thought I'd share what I've done, as it may help someone else who's tired of endlessly renumbering the aircraft.txt file as they add new a/c and liveries! :)Since ttools doesn't truly care *what* numbers you use for each a/c in the file, I decided to use a five digit numbering system:AC#xxyyyy where xx is a number representing the manufacturer and yyy can range from 001 to 999, for each a/c from that manufacturer.For example:AC#14016,420,"Boeing 737-200 AA"AC#12011,240,"BAe Jetstream 41 American Eagle"AC#12012,240,"BAe J…

saw a post from some one that before the taxi speed was solved,they edit the brakes for the ai aircraft so they don't stop so quickly.after the ai traffic land,the land roll is too short,can some one tell me how to edit the brake action of the ai aircraft and what program to use in doing so.and another thing,is there a way to fix the ai aircraft from having a nose down attitude on approach to land to more nose up attitude.thanks much

I know there are several traffic tools around, but I thought I'd add another to the mix. I wrote this for my own use, and it combines a few neat features into one program: You can replace aircraft on one or multiple schedules, add in all your FS2002 aircraft, list all schedules for a given aircraft or airport, delete aircraft & related schedules, add and edit schedules and legs, chart aircraft departures per hour for any airport, list and replace aircraft which you have assigned to routes but are missing from FS2002, etc etc.It's a beta release, and I'd appreciate any feedback. During flights I can hear repeatedly ATC say that many of the AI's are 300' below their assigned altitude an later their IFR flight plans are cancelled.Is there something wrong with the worldAI plans that would cause this ? How would I go about fixing this ?ThanksSteveCYYZ

I asumed incorrectly it seems that when you set the tower position and altitude at an airport using AFCAD that it would always work.But I noticed that on approach into KSFO it still showed the lousy default.Any ideas how I can make a change to towers in AFCAD work ?SteveCYYZ

I'm really a novice at this and don't understand the GMT time thing exactly right.I have created flights out of an airport that I used AFCAD to add ATC. I added flights using yRoute (nice program) and compiled it. I know that the times are GMT and I believe that Central Time (my TZ) is -6 or -5 hours from GMT. If I want a plane to depart at 9am CDT, what is that in GMT? I get confused. (-: The reason I ask is that I never see any of the flights that I created and just figured that I wasn't there at the right time. Is there something else that I could be missing?Thanks in advance.

Hi Folks,I'm sure at some stage I saw a program which allowed one to adjust airfield a curcuit height but I can't find it now.Am I going mad or dreaming again, I was wondering if using this I could drop the curcuit height at Shoreham down so a/c would land there instead of the overshoot problem I get when using the UK mesh scenery I have.mtiaRgds Ron :-beerchugps any replies re me going mad to be written on a postage stamp please

I don't mean to steal anyones thunder, but the AIVIEW.dll that has been posted as a 'unique tool' actually only switches FS2002 into Debug Mode. Everything is 100% Microsoft!He was a bit cheeky to append his webpage details to their window - passing it off as all his own creation :)I didn't realise that this was unknown to some people, I have already tweaked my ver of FS2002 to have a listing under the Help Menu (I just replaced the 'Links to Aviation Partners' item). Hi Folks,Found a solution to the hills problem.Using AFCAD I changed the rwy altitude for Shoreham to 150ft instead of the default 7ft. Hey preso the aircraft landed.BE AWARE, set the lowest poss height as the higher the alt the further down the runway the actual touchdown point becomes.It seems that the aircraft aims for a new point which is above the original but continues down until it hits the actual scenery.(Hope that makes sence)Rgds Ronps tried changing the pattern height and autopilot descent rate, none of them worked. :-cool

Some how KJFK has been changed. The AI aircraft crash on every landing. I would reinstall the files from the CD but I don't know which ones to get. I don't remember using AFCAD on this airport, but something is wrong. Help please.Bob Johnson Sr. (KMIE)

Hi,Had a daft thought today. If equal runway lengths make FS2002 use both runways what would happen if you took a runway, made an exact dupicate but with addition taxiways to the hold from the hold short points and placed it over the first. Would AI treat this as an extra runway and increase the useage?I was playing around with curcuit traffic at Mildenhall and getting only one aircraft flying around while 5 others sat on the hold and waited for first to clear the runway. I added a dupicate runway as above and got two. They were given separation by the tower so were never on the runway at the same time and the second overshoot when the first had not cleared after landing.…

Hi,I have noticed that when asking ATC to take off, some aircrafts do indicate their destinations and some other don't.Why?I think it would be better if every AI were telling their destination , so that we know where those AI go. The question is why some tell their destination to the ATC just before take-off and why other don't. Greetings Minos
