Yesterday was my first attempt using AFCAD and TTools. What a great set of tools. This stuff is very addicting. I downloaded and installed AFCAD map for SFO and a United airlines timetable to use with TTools. I was amazed at the number of aircraft - I had to slew out of the gate as two 737s had me locked-in :-) On my first attempt at landing the 737, I was struggling to keep it steady with the sun glaring in my eye, then right before touchdown - WHAM! Slammed right into a dash 8 that was crossing 28R to get to 28L. What a letdown ;-) Any way to prevent other aircraft from crossing active runways when an aircraft is near final? Thanks.

I have an issue with an AI aircraft (in nil weather) calling the tower and advising its on a straight in apporach RWY11. The tower then instructs it to join left traffic for RWY29. The aircraft does not acknowledge and continues straight in RWY11 and lands without a clearance. It then turns off into the grass where there is no AFCAD taxiway programmed, continues across the grass direct to the main apron, rejoins a correct taxiway and parks correctly. I've double checked everything but need help - please???

Wondering why anyone hasn't painted other textures for the Cargolux 747. It's such a wonderful plane, with additional trucks and a nose that opens.Lobaeux

Hi allA question if i may .........I'm using the brilliant Afcad, dropping FS2002 into windows mode using Glass2k to send afcad tranparent but no matter how i zoom in out on both programs i cannot get the images to line up not even on default scenery. can any one help me, could it be to do with my screen res im baffled please helpJohn

I appreciate all the hard work everyone has done to get real world schedules for AI flight plans. I know from first hand experience how tedious this process is.One critique however, several flight plan makers have aircraft flying to one destination and back once of twice per day. The rest of the time they sit idly taking up valuable ramp space and preventing arriving aircraft from having a gate available for them to taxi to. As a result there are lots of airplanes, but very few of them are going anywhere.Real airline have their planes make several hops per day to generate revenue. Time on the ground is money lost.Suggestion: Make schedules with minimal time spent on …

I don't know if this is the proper place for this, but.... I have tried to add a fight plan using AI Traffic. All goes well until I try to import the plan to Traffic.bgl. It starts, runs for while -- then I get the Trarric Tools screen with an error message saying it was unable to write to output file, push key to continue. After hitting enter, it AI runs for a few seconds and then says the project was successfully added to trarric.bgl. Unfortunately, it isn't there when I look. I tried a bunch of different things and it finally worked for one plan, but I really don't remember what I did to get it to work. When I tried a new project, it gave me the same error message. …

Hoping someone can help me. Following the directions in AFCAD, I used the London Airports by Gary Summons, and an AFCAD file off his site to set up the parking for Concorde. I exported, then deleted all other parking, leaving just the Concorde stand parking. Renamed it EGL2, changed the text ICAO entry and fired up FS2K2 to see if it was sitting there. NOPE!! Froze on me. I think it's the Concorde model I'm using. Anyone else been able to use Concorde as AI? Which one? Which filename? I think I just pulled one off AVSIM, but it freezes the computer whenever it's time to appear comes up. I hate rebooting. I'm sure this should be working, since all I did is just …

Hi all,Has anyone experienced this? Upon start up I'm unable to contact ATC when I'm using some airplanes (for example PSS A320, POSKY 767 and 777). With others (DF734) that's no problem. Whats' really strange is that I can change to a DreamFleet 734 and contact ground then, change back to a plane that didn't work previously and ATC will be available.Does anyone know how I can make ATC work right from the start?Thanks for help,Matthias

Hello all. I got rid of all the original flight plans that came with FS2002 and replaced them with ones I downloaded such as Southwest, American, etc. I use re-paints of the defualt a/c to fly the AI plans. I also downloaded a couple of airport gate enhancements for use with AFCAD. The problem is that none of the flight will actually leave the gates. However, once I'm in the air I hear other a/c so they're taking off from somewhere. Also, I do see some arriving traffic. Why is there no departing traffic? I have all the AA flight plans and while preparing for departure the other day in KDFW there was not a single AA departure. Anybody know the solution to this problem?…

Ok I've added the AI Aircraft I want with TTools and a GUI program and its working. Next I've added GA parking areas to the space at the Airport I want and have AI Aircraft showing up there on startup.Now how do I get the AI Aircraft I have added to go to these new parking space's?I have made the spaces the same as the ones that they do show up in but they still only show up in the same places as they were before I used AFCAD, which is at the other end of the Airport.
