Hi!Currently I am doing my first airport and regardless of wind direction, the ATC will always divert the aircraft to the same runway end. I even tried closed for takeoffs and the ATC still send them over there. I also tried "lengthening" the other runway that run along side of it. So far no luck. :(Would anyone be willing to give me some tips so I can use both ends of the runway properly when the wind changes. Thank you for your time.Julian

These wretched AI pilots!I finally figured out that to make an AI plane even get close to landing at a "non AI" airport you needed to add not only a Tower Frequency and parking spots (many thanks to Lee Swordy and the excellent AFACD) but also file an IFR plan (AI Traffic - Arnt Haaland) and provide an ILS (Groundmaker - Vincent Koch).Everything is peachy for the departures, they follow the new taxiways, pause at the holding points etc.But on the landing it all goes bad, the planes approach perfectly, get to within about 30 ft of the ground, level off, cut the power and retract the undercarriage!!! Hi, After not using flight simulator 2002 for a few days, I start up and there are no AI planes anywhere. No default or anything. I am the only one at the airports. I looked in the flight plans folder and there is just one flight plan listed and that one of the default plans. I have my aircraft and airport info. but have lost my other important information. I've been trying to create the flight for United's 805/806 round trip from San Francisco to Singapore (via Hong Kong), but so far I'm not having much luck. I just did up my own AFCAD file for PANC where teh terminals are faily realistically represented- teh interhnational (North) terminla has too many jetways, so I set up parking based on the map on teh airport website. I also played with the runway usage so it is more practical as well.Tim

Hi..., I wonder if AI Planes do stopover like for example: A B737 of United fly from New York to Anchorage,Alaska but do a stopover Los Angeles and Seattle before arrive at Anchorage.Then back to New York again with the reverse path and stopover.Is TTools can do that? If it can...please tell me how to do it.Allen

I have generated some flight plans and everything works well up until the time the AI traffic reaches the runway holding point.The traffic will sit for about 10 secs and then dis-appear.What am I doing wrong?:-eek

Hi,I've spend most of my free time today downloading and trying the Posky B767's and A330's.I have found that all the B767's taxi OK to the holding point but once cleared for takeoff they vanish! The A330's are OK.I've tried flights which I know work but they still vanish if the aircraft is the B767's. Different aircraft, larger and smaller, work OK.Does this mean the Polsky B767's are not AI friendly?Oh, forgot, they are the GMAX versions.Rgds Ron

Hi,today I set some of my flights to 100%. But hey they didn't show up. Then after I changed the value to 99% they suddenly appeared. I checked my FS2002.CFG and to my surprise the value for the traffic percent was really set 99 and not to 100 as it should be. Anyone made a similar expierence?ThanksThomas

Hi, I have found that some AI planes can't land on someairports.There is an example.I see Project AI 737s go around many times in KLGA just beacuse they fly too highat last.But we don't expect that in real life.Due to the MSFSsoftware limitations,I guess this can't be directly fixed by *.airor aircraft cfg files.Does any one know how to fix this problem? Hi all,I've generated short runways (sized just like helipads - but using the normal rwy type) at two different airports (with two parking areas for heavies at each one) with AFCAD as airport overlays.These are useable with normal aircraft (a/c-type=0) "Cessna" or "SkyCar" in flightplans (TTools) but it's not realistic and also not my intention ;-)So how can I make some helicopter flyable?All heli's (MS Bell206 and 3rd-party included) are inoperable and also not visible on ground (only type=0 aircrafts).Is there a different ai-engine running in the german version of the FS2k2pro?I've read a posting about operable choppers (also Bell206 at meigs) from "SamBob" some times b…

Folks, I feel I ought to know why, but I can't figure out what has happened.I loaded up FS2K2 and suddenly there were no AI Aircraft anywhere!!! None on the ground, none in the air, and none showing up in AI Map. When I tried to open AI Tactical Display, FS crashed.I checked Options/Settings/ATC and Traffic Percent is still where it has always been--100%. I checked my ...FS2002SCENEDBATCScenery folder and Traffic.BGL is still there--all 22+ MB of it.I know it was working fine before I attempted to run the ProjectAI Online Installer which bombed out because their site was down. After downloading a couple of Argentine planes and putting them into my AI, I noticed that the name "Argentina" wasn't recognized, although it seemed from the UI and the Holy List of Airlines that it should have been. While I was doing the Southwest thing with the Voice Decompiler and the Voice SDK, I poked around and discovered that MS had left an extra space in their phrase.txt file after the name Argentina. The SDK compiler is apparantly sensitive to spaces, caring only for tabs, so what FS2K2 is looking for is "Argentina " with an extra blank. Having installed realistic AI flightplans using Ian Webber's plans and Thomas' superb AI Traffic Mover, my next task is to change the radius of each of my AI aircraft using AITM to make them go to suitable gates. Just before their site closed down I downloaded all the planes and I have to say I do like them a lot for the longest time I was playing with FS98 FS2K aircraft for AI due to performance but I knowthis that some of them won't takeoff???
