Hi people!As I was working with the various tools for AI, and I "messed up" the "airport.txt" file and now I have no more airports of the default databse of FS2002. I have recently been constructing a series of AFCAD overlays forthe wonderful series of Freeware Swedish Airports by Lennart (Arvidsson) and Per. These can be viewed at Lennarts Website and downloaded from FSnordic.com. All has proceeded without any problemsuntil the last Airport Visby. The AI Aircraft in the vicinity of themain terminal 'float' about 2 feet off the tarmac. I have mentioned this to Lee Swordy but he is unsure why this should be. Hi all, i have tried to import my flightplans using this program, AIR TRAFFIC MANAGER and have come across an error: "numeric flow error". I think it has got something to do with a comma or space being left out. Is it possible to delete the flighplans and start from scratch? Incidently i have no problems using TTools with my plans.Any help appreciated.VIRGIN747

I have ran the AI set up base and installed all files starting with air france,i finished up with 100 aircraft and 24300 flight plans after it had finished compiling all the files, but when i look in the flight plans text file and aircraft tex file nothing has changed.,i still have 36 aircraft and 23115 flight plans.All the AI aircraft appear in the aircraft folder.Can some one stear me in the right directionthanks Don

I had the strange taxi for take off when I clicked on taxi to parking or gate. I was in a 767 landing at KDFW. I'm using simflyers scenery with parking at every gate. So there's over 100 gate parking and a large amount of cargo parking. I had thought that when it didn't let you select taxi to gate that all the gates were full. There was about 40 to 50 planes parked at the gates. So there was plenty of parking. Does MS have only 1 gate and 1 parking for each parking area available? So if it's being used it won't send you to another parking spot or gate? At KPDX where I live I have never had that problem and there are less spots available than I had at KDFW. Other…

Where can you find all flights for one airline. I'm looking for Frontier. At their site you can only do from one city to another. And with the number of cities that seems a pain. Is there any web site that can show all flights?John

I tried this program and it seem cool, just I am not sure why:1. If I use Timetable and type for example CYYZ only few flights show and I know there is a lot more then that, when I type overlay 1YYZ nothing comes up?2.Using Export/Search, same thing only few plans come up, sometimes when I set only option to search by Aircraft only, mayority of them will show nothing, even though I know there are flights that use that aircraft and they work?Thanks for any info.Flight Plans loaded is 28340, Total flights 120224, 1370 Aircraftwell a little explanation on the 1370 Aircraft... I am looking for the ability to export all my currently installed aircraft in a new, completely fresh Airport.txt file. I do not want to add them to an existing Aircraft.txt file, I know that this is possible. Does this feature exist in any of the released AI tools?Stamatis

I am new to this so bare with me. I downloaded the World AI 2 file and am trying to change my planes in the World AI aircraft organizer. When I double click on my planes, it takes me to the aircraft config file, but there is no explanation of what to do to edit the file to make it into an AI aircraft. Is it that obvious? Hello to everybody,Just started to work with Afcad and Traffic tools, developing AI-aircraft for the smaller Dutch airports. Despite having red the Afcad manual, up until now it is a lot of trial and error. I saw a lot of posts about creating overlays and I needed an overlay for the small grass airstrip of Lelystad (EHLE). Guided by the manual, I created an overlay, which I called Lelystad2 (2HLE). When I start FS, I see in the "Go to airport" menu indeed an entry Lelystad2. However when I direct my aircraft to this airport, then I am dropped somewhere at N89*. The east co-ordinates are also wrong, so I am in the middle of nowhere. A few weeks ago I downloaded the project AI Delta, Klm United and Us air flights. However A few weeks after I noticed that all the PAI planes dissapeared from my Aircraft folder. I decided to go back to the original traffic.bgl file. I could not find it on any of the fs2002 pro disks. could anyone e-mail me the ORIGINAL traffic.bgl file. [email protected] Grant Z.

I'm using Matthias Rush's 5-overlay Chicago O'Hare (ORD) AFCAD file for Wilco's Airport 2000 and I've followed instructions as required:1) Add ORD1,2,3,4 to the airports.txt.2) Use AI Traffic Mover to move all American Airlines flights to ORD1, United Airlines flights to ORD2, Northwest and other domestic carriers to ORD3 and leave the rest (international) flights as KORD.3) Re-compile traffic.bgl fileHowever, I still have non-international airlines parking at the International Terminal (which remained KORD as specified), Delta, Northwest and America West flights all parking at both UA and AA terminals.What am I doing wrong?

Hi everyone, I've finally uploaded my first ever set of flightplans for ttools. It consists of plans for BWIA's entire fleet. Info gathering creation and testing has taken me over 3 weeks but i'm finally finished. Heck, at least it gave me something to do (i'm only 14 you know!).Most of the plans have a more realistic WEEK period instead of the 24Hr one. Now aircraft don't leave at 7am, come back at nine and sit in the airport until the next day. They share different routes, so you'll find....eg 9Y-POS in Toronto on Monday, but on Tuesday its in Miami, Wednesday, Guyana and so on.I also uploaded and AFCAD txt file to enable the default Piarco to handle all the…

Hey all,I am trying to write a program to create sector files using data leeched directly from FS itself.I have found that both TTools and AFCAD are great programs for getting info out of FS, but unfortunately they seem to only show the Taxiway centrelines.What I need is the data used to show the outlines of the actual taxiways themselves. Ground sector files show the whole airport in a frame like layout showing all the perimeters of taxiways, Aprons, buildings etc. FS already have this data as they use it to paint the screen with airport graphical details. After I downloaded Air France AI aircrafts and flight plans from projectAI.com, I was happy to see that Paris Orly became a busy airport, like in reality.But the problem is that now, no aircraft can take off because ATC doesn't give any take-off clearance.So I tried several things:1) I reduced the AI traffic to 70%2) I modified Orly airport with AFCAD to have 1 runway for take-off and another for landing3) I watched the AI aircraftAnd the problem is still here: ATC does not authorize my aircraft or any AI aircraft to take-off!!!Do you have any idea??Thanks for any help !!Eric

I appologize for the duplicate. I posted this on another forum and someone told me that AI questions were handled here. Anyway...I've noticed that my AI aircraft have neither smoke nor any other effects. Is there some place you turn on these attributes. I have the applicable sections in the aircraft.cfg file but no effects.Also, is there a way to slow down AI aircraft on approach, go-around, and takeoff. At some of the busiest airports the AI aircraft look like bees coming and going - very rapid. While trying to write some "WEEK" flightplans with Traffic Tools I noticed that FS2O02 was showing that it was Wednesday on the settingspage when in reality it was Thursday. I have the program set to systemtime and date,(GMT). When checking the program on a second computer it was the same. I cant find a workround for this or is it a problem with FS2002. The only solution I could work out was changing the date in the BIOS but that seems a bit drastic. Any help please,Mick

in the aircraft.cfg file for the PAI aircraft,there is under "reference speeds" a line cruisespeed.I know there have been a lot of discussions about this,but this is the speed that actually controls the cruise speed?and is it in indicated or true airspeed?2)would it be possible to make a little script when you push "I", all Ai aircraft have those vapour trails cominf of their wingtips/flapsif e.g. very humid weather,you could push the I and they'd show up

Posted this over in General area too, but thought it would be good here too. I plunged in at PAI site and downloaded some repaints. But they arrived without air file and aircraft config. files. Am I missing something? Are there originals somewhere that do have the missing files 'cause I couldn't find them at the site?Any help or direction will be appreciated.ThanksRick
