I need some clarification as to how the repeat period in the flight plans work. Say I have a repeat period of 8Hrs...Does that mean:a.) Every 8Hrs after midnight the flight will repeat orb.) Every 8Hrs after I start the sim the flight will repeat?Thanks for your help.

Hi all,Can someone explain how to take an actual airline schedule and convert that data into an AI Flight Plan Schedule for use in FS2002? I have read about TTools etc, but not sure if I can do what I am trying to do. I live here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and since my wife works for American Airlines, and AA is the major carrier out of DFW, I would like to re-create their schedule at their "home" airport. I have downloaded AA's entire schedule out of DFW into WordPad, then did a conversion and import into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. I just uploaded a new set of taxiways for SimFlyers KLAX. Here are some of the features of it:- This can handle a lot of AI traffic. I have LAX set up with about 1500 daily flights and there is still a lot more capacity left in the airport.- Two versions are included. One that works with the SimFlyers static aircraft, and one that works without it to give even more capacity. There are almost 200 gates in the version without the static aircraft. - Includes 2 overlays. One for the north runways (24/6) and one for the south runways (25/7). Some aircraft will taxi over from one side to the other for takeoff or after landing, just like in real world.- Inside runways …

I downloaded an AFCAD file for KPHX and it requires me to create a couple overlays. I would just like to merge the two so that I have the benefit of using all of the gates combined rather than using one or the other. When using WorldAI flightplans with PAI aircraft which would you suggest ? Do I change the title in the PAI aircraft.cfg to match the worldai aircraft.txt or change the aircraft.txt to match the PAI aircraft.cfg's ??Or do you use a program like AITM at let it sort it all out.If I sound confused, it's cause I am. :-)Your suggestion would be appreciatedSteveCYYZ

Hi everyone,I just finished building a replacement model for the default 737-400.It has some visual improvements, larger cockpit windows, larger main tires, less noticable main gear doors. Developing gates at CYVR using FS2002 and "o" to place the gate. When I move to AFCAD and try to link the gates to taxiways the program will not allow. The line forms but disappears immediately I remove my finger off the button. If I "press" the left mouse button and move my mouse a line looking like a taxiway forms from the cursor to a point way off the top LH corner of the map. Take my finger off the left mouse button and it disappears. It will not allow me to install any nodes. I removed AFCAD and re-installed without any improvement. Hello,I noticed in airports where I added gates with AFCAD that my AI planes are like "trembling" meanwhile they are running on taxi.Everything looks like as the AI track doesn't go straight.Does this problem come from AFCAD ?Thank you for your help!Thama

Was working with TTools 1.2 today and after adding AC#s 267-271, and working on KEUG flight plans, the compiler said on line 13 of flight plans text that AC#94 was not in the list!!Of course it is!And it's been there since April.So I tried openning the flight plans and aircraft text files with WORD PAD instead of NOTEPAD because I heard there are size limitations to NOTEPAD. Added AC and flight plans again.No luck, same message.So I deleted the 5 added aircraft and the compiler ran fineGo figure!What has gotten into TTools Compiler? Any advise will be appreciated.I'm running Win XP Home, MSFS2K2 Pro.Rick

Not sure what is wrong nor even if this is wrong.I have 4 CYYZ overlays. When I select CYYZ in the airport of the Mover, and then select YYZ2 let's say for the move-to option then select 50%, it moves all of my flights, not just the ones from only the airline I chose. - and there is only one airline that I have chosen.Am I missing something?

I usually fly northeast corridor flights [DCA, IAD, PHL, EWR, LGA, BOS, BDL, ALB, BTV, MHT, LEB] in small twins (B1900D usually). I've recently purchased Simflyers EWR and PHL, and installed PAI (all the autoinstallers, no unofficial stuff - beyond my ability right now!) with numerous multi-gate afcads, all pretty much at the same time. I've got a fair amount of traffic at the default airports representing several liveries. I'm usually 2 or 3 for takeoff at DCA, 1 or 2 for landing as well. However at EWR and PHL, I see only US airways jets, and I'm almost always the only moving plane on the tarmac. I have a feeling something is going on, but I'm reluctant to start fr…

Hi folks,I'm using AI Traffic Mover and it looks really good. I like the user interface, but after compiling the flight plan, there are only small planes like Cessnas appearing. I do not know wheter my aircraft configuration file is wrong, but I am using that one delivered with the program. What can I do???

When I use YRoute it shows some aircraft that are not in FS2002. What is needed to make these aircraft dissappear from this list and become usable? Can you use YRoute to accomplish this? In other words, can Yroute let you know what is missing in each of these aircraft?

I've just gotten around to editing the gvp for my overlay airports. Generally very easy sicne I'm using existing samples in their entirtey with out edits. It only took me 10 minutes to take care of them, and makes for a more real ATC environment. Then again, you are talking to someone that has 4 overlays for KPVD :) as it is my home airport.Tim

I want to create just a few plans, maybe not so real but ones that would place airlines at locations and times when I fly. Corsair as an example. I am using AFCAD 1.1 because I've heard of the fact that you can make the AI traffic land on more than one runway. I tried to make EDDL have 2 active runways using AFCAD, but it does not work; when I select EDDL (Dusseldorf) as my starting airport and ask for a taxi clearance, I am told to taxi to rwy 5R. When I select ZDDL (Dusseldorf 2, my overlay), it's the same... I even deleted runway 5R in the overlay, but I am still told to use it for take-off...

How can you get a gmax plane to let you change the radius with AITM. Most of the planes I have will, even my DF737, PSS-777 & 747. But there are a couple that won't. The radius is grayed out. One is the lear that comes with fs2k2. And another is a 717 that I would like to know the radius that it's set to. At the AITM site it says that it's set in the mdl file. Any way to make it so the radius can be changed.John

Hello,When I'm adding various flights to flightplan, is there something I can use to put in a note to separate the flightplans for later editing? something like a rem statement, which didn't work.ie: KORD UA flights start, and at the end of these flightplans, KORD UA flights end.Thanks in advance for the help.Jerry

Hello,I`m trying to crowd my skies a bit with these tools. But the aircraft.cfg`s of all my installed aircraft seem to be broken. Everytime I start "Tools -> Check all aircraft.cfgs" it shows a "wrong ATC type" and "model" for all aircraft, even for those fs2002 default ones. And when I write the ( in my opinion ) proper entries for those into the .cfg and save it then and run the check again, its still the same, doesn`t matter if i write atc_type=xxx and atc_model=xxx under [general] or [fltsim.x]. The values for atc_type and _model are according to those in atc_models.txt als atc_type.txt that come along with AIschedule. Does anyone know solutions for this ?

Is it possible to move the hold short node on to the runway so aircraft position themselves at the end of the runway and wait for takeoff clearance? This may be a way of simulating 'position and hold' on a runway. I guess this would apply only to runways used exclusively for departuresany thoughts-DN

Hello everyone,I have a problem here. I downloaded Worldai2 from the Avsim library and Ttools and of course Aitraffic. I chose the flight plans I wanted from worldai2 and added to my decompiled list of the default flightplans. I compiled them sucessfully with ttools and next I wanted to assign different aircraft to those routes. However, when I opened Aitraffic and tried to open the traffic.bgl file, it decompiles successfully but when it comes to opening them in the programme itself, it gives me an error message "Runtime error 5, invalid call or procedure". I thought I had made some errors in adding the worldai flightplans to the default ones. I can successfully open the…
