Is it possible to edit the time zone MS put into FS? They screwed up on Thunder Bay, Ontario. It should be on Eastern Standard Time, but instead, they put it on Central time, 1 hour behind what it should be. I need to fix this to get AI schedules running properly between Thunder Bay and Toronto, which is on the same time in real life, but 1 hour ahead in FS. I'd appreciate any and all help. Thanks!

Does anyone know how to configure AFCAD to have you depart from a helipad instead of a runway without FS2002 crashing? I would also like to know how to create "intersections or waypoints" that the GPS can read.Thank you,[email protected]

Hi,I've created 3 overlays for WSSS (Singapore Changi) :WSS0 - CargoWSS1 - Terminal 1 onlyWSS2 - Terminal 2 onlyAll three are using the same runways/taxiways and ground frequency (124.300).When I start a flight from WSS2 (Singapore Airlines), I have no problem getting all my clearances but when it comes to landing, I select the appropriate Airport (Terminal 2), get my landing clearance but am always sent to Terminal 1 gates.Has anyone experienced this and found a solution ?Thx, Brgds

I've just started using AFCAD and created a new airport using FSArchitect2002. I didnt create an AFD file but used AFCAD instead. I added ATC to it but now I can only talk to Ground. When I try to contact Tower, FS2002 locks up and terminates. ANY HELP???Thank you,[email protected]

Think I know what I'm doing (Oh, thats always dangerous!!) with this overlay thing. If I create an overlay say a terminal at LAX for united planes I then need to use TTools and change all the United flight to LAX to LAX1. Correct??Thanks

Kevin Au and I have put together a system of using the aircraft and gate radius settings to get AI aircraft to use the correct gates. The matrix includes just about all of the world's largest airlines and is also desiged in such a way that smaller airlines can still be used.We are still in the testing phase but want to get comments from anyone that might be interested in this system. Hey Guys, I have a scenery i uploaded a few months ago (Sanger, Oregon) and I want to add AI flights to it. I have added the tower and everything else that you can inset in AFCAD. Then added it to the airport list, installed flight plans with default aircraft that work at similar airports, and had it going to a nearby airport that has AI flights already (KRDM), complied it, yet I can't get any flights to show up, any ideas what I am doing wrong??Thanks, Michael

I've been fooling around with the AI traffic speed using AI Speed by Andy Robinson and I can't seem to find a speed that works well. It's either too fast and they overshoot the turns or it's too slow and traffic starts to pile up. What settings are the best?Ray

When splitting an airport into overlays in order to have multiple runways active, is it necessary to also split the gates between them? In other words, if I have all gate present on both overlays, will there be problems with an aircraft using overlay A trying to park in at a gate occupied by an aircraft using overlay B?Hope this makes sense. :)Sidney Schwartz [KPDX]

Hi folks,Can anyone tell me whether PAI aircraft are supposed to show up in the 'Airplane selection' screen in FS2002? I've installed quite a few, my skies are empty and out of all of the installed PAI aircraft only a Portuguese A310 appears in the list of 'flyable' planes. I know they're not flyable, I just wondered whether getting them to appear in the menu would indicate that they will appear in the FS world. At the moment, the only AI aircraft I can see in the FS world are the ones I've added myself. Hi,a weird problem: My incoming AI lands, taxies to their position and start going in small circles... they seem not to be able to turn to their parking spots.Some time ago, I modified the AI speed settings a bit. Could that be the cause? Anyway, *please* post the default speeds so I can give it a try.What's more weird, *departing* traffic seems to be unaffected...An Idea anyone?ToMey

Don't bother using the new Poskey CRJ for AI. I tried it & landing at KPHX dropped to 1fps. Without the CRJ 18. It's not good for ai just for flying.John

How long prior to its departure time should an ai plane appear at its gate? I've often noticed that when I first load fs, I'll have a bunch of ai traffic at the gates. Some will pushback immediately, some soon after, but some will sit at the gate for quite a while. Is this normal?Sidney Schwartz [KPDX]

I must be missing something easy and need your help finding the solution. I have a mutiple PC arrangement (4 Actually).I have resinstalled FS2002 on a client. I then copied to the client, the AFD files,and the traffic BGL from the server. If I do a decompile of the clients traffic.bgl, I find that the airports.txt, aircraft.txt and the flightplans,txt files all match the ones from the server. Good. I also copied the aircraft folder to the client. Good. everything same same... but, when running fs2002 with ATC at 100%, I get nothing but a few default AC. Bad... It is like fs is reading another traffic.bgl file that I can't find.Help!!!Warren

I have accidentally installed flightplans more than one time in my flightplans.txt. I now have many instances of two or more aircraft that try to occupy the same airspace on approach and landing. I have just had a problem when using the compiler. Everything goes ok until compiling traffic sectors. It reaches 4128 of the 14933 sectors and just stops. Pressing "RETURN" does not work to get out of the compiler, only by clicking on the "x" can I get out of it,Any help greatly appreciated,Mick

I have never seen an AI plane landing at my hometowns Innsbruck Airport, because they all crash into the surrounding mountains before!Also many of the departing AI aircraft fly direct into the mountain ranges.So my question: is there a way to create flightpaths for AI aircrafts that avoid high terrain?Wolfgang
