Hi,I have installed a lot of PAI European airliners and time schedules. It shows quite a good traffic all over Europe. I am further using FSMeteo changing the weather appropriately and adjusting locally the barometric values. However, I hear a lot of calls from traffic control to other planes saying "to expedite their descent or climb to FL...." Even I hear regularly that the IFR flights of other aircraft are canceled (due to not following the traffic altitude). Is there something that can remedy that?Some hints would be welcome.Robert

AFCAD has the ability to search the NAVAIDs (not at an airport).I can also change the parameters of the VOR. But I can'tfind any way to change the title of the VOR.Example:Salt Lake City VOR has been renamed Wasatch by FAA. I havechanged the ID from SLC to TCH using AFCAD (also in EasyNavs)but now it shows TCH Salt Lake CityIn the AFCAD memu it offers an option to Insert a VOR, butI haven't tried this. Hi All:Appologies in advance if this is old news I missed, but I have found that a period character just before the final airport identifier can result in a compile failure.One of the lines of a downloaded schedule appeared as follows:AC#304,JMC752,1%,WEEK,IFR,1/19:35:00,1/00:00:00,325,F,233,LTFE,2/01:15:00,2/00:00:00,325,F,234.EGCCNote the period character just before the EGCC at the end of the record. As soon as this was changed to a comma, all was fine. The compile process did not detect and alert me to the invalid 'period' character, but it did fail and shut down.When I checked my whole schedule file of over 10000 flights, I also found a period in place of the colon…

I have seached the Editvoicepack site and a few forums, and I cannot find any way to list the expressions stored in the program.Someone compiled and posted a listing of editvoicepack additions several weeks back, but of course it is incomplete now.Is there a way this can be done? The best scenario would be to have the ability to list both the default and approved additions in the same alphabetical listing.It would be very useful to have such a listing when adding flights, schedules, aircraft etc. Currently I have to open editvoicepack and try to find the call-sign, verify it exists, and confirm the syntax of the typed voice.Thanks in advance.YYZ

I own my own VA, and i recently put our aircraft and flights into my Ttools. Everythings works fine and as expected, except the landing gear doesnt show up on our planes, they just appear to magically float. Please help.

Hi. I'm already using PAI, but I wanted to add some flightplans so I downloaded them from AVsim.In the zip I have airports.txt, flightplans.txt etc.I also downloaded the aircraft and repaints I would need.My problem is installing the actual AI traffic. I tried AI Traffic Mover but I can't understand that program. All I get is a window with empty boxes and greyed out options and the documentation is very poor.Any ideas?

Hello again to all the helpful simmers out there....again I hope someone can help me with my next problem...anybody using AITraffic 1.0...which is a great program...anyway I have no problem editing existing flight plans and planes with this program except when I'm done editing and go to compile...before compiling the program asks if I want to save the current project..I say no because I don't know what to type to save it and what is the reason for saving the project..I know that may sound silly but I don't know....also does anybody know what to type "exactly" in the import box when you create a new flight plan from scratch?? First let me apoligize for this question in advance but I'm a moron when it comes to dealing with anything more difficult then "double click"...anyway my problem is I've downloaded several PAI airlines with the auto-installers...all goes well with the install...decompiler...compiler...works etc..etc..however when I modify a flight plan in Traffic Tools.....example....I modified a flight plan with a USAir 320 from Ohare to Denver...at the departure time the flight requests taxi instruction and when I go to spot view I see an American Pacific 737 taxiing instead of the USAir 320...depressing...I tried the same with Delta and low and behold there was a Delta 727 taxiing!! gr…

AITM has done this idea before and now the new TTools 1.3.2 does it also. I am talking about creating a fresh copy of the airport.txt file used to compile the flight plans.I was wondering if TTools could make tool or "revamp" CollectAirports.exe that would analyze your flight plans, then create a fresh "airport.txt" file using only the airports that are needed for your flight plans. This would save on thousands of unused airport listings and create a much smaller and more manageable "airport.txt" file.I am sure that there would be some trouble with the overlayed airports, as they wouldn't be listed in the default airport database file. I have a serious problem on my KIAH overlays.I have the Continental traffic using its own runway for landings. a nd the COA Express using another...but somtimes like 5 planes will try to land back to back and ofcoarse not all of them getthe go around message.Well I now get like 5 planes just sitting on the runway not moving. Ad its really frustrating.Now is there a way to fix this...or betet ryet a way to edit the time it takes to them to disapear when not moving. I recently added several Project AI routes (Tango, West Jet, United, Delta and delta shuttle - may be others) and now at most airports I have phantom numbers of aircraft around my aircraft on the ground. I cannot see the aircraft at all and they greatly degrade FS frame rates. It is though they are beneath the ground!Has anyone else had this experience and if so how do you fix it?

I am redoing an existing airport. Eg Brisbane,AustraliaI have put in all the gates i want. Now I want to place the nodes and connecters to use these gates. AFCAD will not let me place any nodes or connecters anywhere i this scenery. If i select a another airport, they work fine again. Is there a maximum amount of nodes allowed?What am i doing wrong?

I mistakenly posted this in the general forum earlier. I do mostly GA aircraft and fly at small airports. I would like to add AI traffic to these airports. I have attempted doing this using TTools and AFCAD, but do not see any planes. I would very much appreciate if someone could tell me what I am doing wrong! I saw a previous post about doing this for Sanger, OR, but did not see if it was resolved.Here is what I did:In AFCAD, I added a Ground and Tower frequency, and 4 Gate Small parking spots to airport 11S. With each parking spot I created 4 parking connectors to 4 Normal nodes. These then feed into a Hold Short node, which feeds into a Normal node located at the end…

Hi!I installed the Seoul Inchon scenery available at VATKOR and installed an AFCAD file for it and directed some flightplans to go there instead of Kimpo, but i still can't see any traffic there. The AFCAD file seems to be fine amd the plans are fine too. Has anyone gotten AI traffic towork there?Misha

I know these 2 groups are distinct. But it seems FS Painter is posting aircraft to PAI. If this is true, then, for example, the PAI Fokker F-50 or MD80 textures will match and work with the PAI model, etc.Is this correct?In addition, does anybody know the secrets to navigating the FS Painter web site. I'm lost when I go there. Or maybe I'm just intimidated. ThanksRick

I have installed my airport(kricgates)which has probably 30 parking gates. Although it is great to have so many gates, there are gates located in "unusual" places around the field(one location looks to be a mile away from the airport). My question is: Would it be better to delete those gates that I do not want OR simply set the order planes park to original(which I assume are the positions at the terminal)? Thanks.GLB@KRIC

Hi there! I just wnated a litlle more info on understanding the new version of TT Tools which has the new arrival time format for Ai planes? Like if i make a plan with the "@" in the plans, does this mean i can make anytime for the plane to arrive at the gate by using the @ in the flight plans? Is this corerct, or does it still go by the Ai planes speed in TT Tools? Since i see guy's now making new Ai plans in this new format i want to understand it better? So can someone verify what exactly does putting the "@" in the Ai plans do, as i know in the readme it says that the times afeter the "@" is the time it arrives at the gate, not like before where the arrival time was o…

I've been trying to get this guy to work for a couple of weeks now. I finally made a breakthrough last night while messing with the runway length and traffic pattern altitude. I lengthened the runway 2000 feet and lowered the TPA 100 feet.So I watch the 767 on approach and it seems to be aiming short of the runway, it begins it's flare and then looks like it's going to do a go-around, then upon crossing the real runway threshold it noses down, flares and lands hard, but in one piece.Before making the change, the plane would just do endless go arounds. Hey folks ive set the Ariane 737 to leave Charlotte and arrive in Chicago as a flightplan, now I have tested this and all goes well until she arrives in Chicago. I kept an eye on her heading straight over the airport, it just kept going. It puts it's gear down and starts to descend but overflys the airport completely. Has anyone gotten this airplane to behave normally with a different airfile and if so I would appreciae some enlightenment.Thanks,JP

A Great addition, however it does create duplicate entries.I have a solution for those that are interested. I wrote a small program to take out duplicate entries, but it is set up for where I have my TTools folder (Desktop). If anyone wants a copy of the program send me an e-mail with the full path to your TTools folder and I will customize the program for you. (Temporary solution for now, I will make the program read a text file for the path in a few days)Never Mind, Program has been Uploaded.

could anyone tell me how to use yroute to get a week flightplan in a single line. I know how to do it manually but thought that with yroute it was just a matter of changing day of the week after having all the legs for one day ready, but somehow i dont find the way. Also have tried fstrafficedit but the same happens here i get one flight plan for each day. If there isnt any way around i think i rather do them manually. Thx jorge.
