Hi All,Does anyone know of a C-130 Hercules and a C-17 Globemaster in GMAX to use for AI? I have searched most of the main flightsim sites with no luck. Being an ex USAF C-141 Loadmaster I want to get some airlifter aircraft flying around. ThanksDES

I'm trying to convert Mike Stone's Falcon 2000 and Rick Sasala's Gulfstream to perform better as AI Traffic. Both are beautiful aircraft, but crash on landing.I've tried swapping files from the default Lear 45. But when I do, the aircraft don't show in the sim. The title line in the aircraft.cfg files were edited to allow TTools to see the correct aircraft, so I know that's not the problem.Does anybody have an idea to share, or a solution. Do I have to rename a file, or perform more editing surgery?I'd be very grateful! With all the great commercial models coming from FS Painter and Project AI, I hope some nice AI corporate jets would be on the agenda.Thanks for any atte…

To anyone who can give advice,What would you all reccomend for putting AI traffic on my MSFS? I have used TTools before and am familiar with it. I was kind of interested in using one of the payware programs such as MyTraffic, or FsTraffic. Any thoughts here? Would I be better off using the Pai sight as I have done before? When I load FS2K2 to my default field I have several AC positioned around the tarmac and away from the terminal. My AFCAD for that field only has parking at the terminal. Below is a pic of the AFCAD and the red x marks where AC are sitting(approximately). Why? Thanks.GLB@KRIC

Hello all,Sorry if this question has been answered before. I did a search but didn't find my answer. What I'm wondering is how I can get the AI to ask to go the gate instead of to parking. I've made some fictitious flightplans for an airport that I made a new AFCAD file for, but the AI always go to general aviation parking.Thanks for any help you can provide.Ken Pryor

Hi Guys, just wanted to know something...I find the amount of traffic which is already by default in fs2002 sufficient seeing the fact that project AI aircraft EAT my framerates like crazy...But the models of the default fs2002 aircraft are disappointing...so i want to replace the models with other models.the default 737 to the ai aardvark 737 and the default md90 into a 757-300 of fspainter ... but the question is how do i do that? Off course i want to keep the AI traffic plans and so on as it is but only change the models ... See ya

I am almost exclusively using PAI aircraft for my AI traffic.I have observed that all aircraft, when over the threshold, stop their descent, level off for several seconds, and then resume their final descent and touchdown. The result is that they always land between 1500 to 2000 feet after the TDZ (Touch Down Zone).Does anyone know how to cure, or at least improve on this?Stamatis

I have installed assorted PAI schedules, to try and recreate a semi-realistic schedule for Frankfurt EDDF, German Airports version.There is plenty of departure traffic, but not as much arrival traffic as I would expect. I have printed the timetable from AITM, and more than half of files do not land.However, aircraft that should have landed, but don't seem to have, miraculously manage to appear for the departure of their next leg.I have turned on aircraft labels to make them more visible, but they don't even seem to be coming in to the vicinity of Frankfurt.There are plenty of gates available, and the frequency of traffic is not so great that there aren't slots available.C…

can Afcas change the ILS position? I have downloaded a LLBG file and since the ILS guides me smoothly to...the taxiway.I'm happy with that file as far as parking spots are concerned,however, is there a way to correct the ILS allignment?

Can anyone suggest a framerate friendly A310 model with a lot of repaints, for AI aircraft usage?I have tried the ProjectAI A310 but there is something in their model that bothers me. Maybe it is out of proportion, (too big?) or it is something else that I cannot pinpoint.Any suggestions wil be appreciated.Stamatis

This is real basic. In order to use AFCAD to alter some files, do I have to have FS2K2 running? Or can I use AFCAD and then start FS2K2?I've been only using Richard Mohammed's nice files and using the AFCAD Installer, but I need to alter some of the active runways at KLAS and KSEA.Thanks!Rick

I have been having a problem at Heathrow with alot of aircraft just sitting in line and not taking off. Can anybody think of a cause for this. It os probably the busiest airport since I send most of the US flights there and also Asian flights. I use the project AI aircraft mainly with flights I have entered on my own. Also I have UK2000 scenery London Airports.Thanks for any help Andrew

Hi everyone,I was wondering the other day (as I sometimes do) about something.Is it possible, using TTools, to create flight plans for aircraft so that they never move - but still appear. In essence creating static aircraft?Or, does a flight plan have to have validity for a aircraft to appear?Thanks in advance,Nick.

I was thinking of adding some military flights to compliment airline and pax operations, but haven't come across any military aircraft to be used specifically as AI. Which military aircraft does everyone use? I'd like to keep them simple models (ie. AI) to go easy on frame rates. Any particular ones you'd recommend?Thanks,Subs

Hi folks,got the follwong problem after installing some flightplans:During taxiing on EDDM i spotted a ai plane on final. But close behind him exactly the same jet apperas (both had the same ai number).As the first touched down tower said to the second that he should make a go-arround.Well it is not really a big problem, but it "looks" not so good.Anyone of you who can imagine why this happens ?Thanks and best regards, Carsten

I'm having trouble creating this flight - I'm sure someone would be able to help out. I'm not very experienced at making or creating complex schedules, but have been using AITM for a while to know the basics.Following is the flight that I want schedule with AITM. I don't know which is easier for you to "read" so I'll include it twice, one containing Local time, the other UTC time. Using AFCAD 1.3.2, I adjusted one taxiway (for a simple start)in the zzsfkdfw.bgl file by SimFlyers for KDFW. The reason is that AI traffic (I believe these are some that I installed from PAI) keep taxiing in the grass. I adjust the taxiway to line up with my aircraft. However, after restarting FS2K2 and it reindexes things, the AI aircraft just seem to move over and taxi in the grass exactly as before. They seem to ignore the taxiway line that I edited with AFCAD.I thought that AI aircraft followed these cad lines, the width of which is not a factor.Anyone experience this or have a suggestion?ThanksJayhawk

HI everyone, I've tried to add a new airline callsign (Air Malta)to the airline.cfg list and I have also configured the aircraft.cfg file of the aircraft concerned. Unfortunately I can't get ATC to call the new callsign. Atc just calls the flight number but omits the callsign. Is it possible for me to add this callsign and if yes what do I have to do exactly?Thanks Daniel.

I installed PAI delta installer as well as all the other ones they have and I have lots of AI traffic at all major airports. However, I have yet to see any 727's. I see lots of md80's, 737, 767's etc... but no 727. Is there anyway I can correct this easily?Rob

After a foray into "My Traffic" it is back to TTools. "My Traffic"'s representation of Military Bases is Horendous!!!!!! People that put Commercial Aircraft at Military Bases need to see Jeff Foxworthy and get their sign!

Can someone help me by pointing out which is the best method for entering a flight schedule in Flightplans.txt for an airline that opeartes a flight between a pair of cities, whereby a daily flight repeats every day of the week except Saturday?By making just one entry and entering 24Hr as the repeat period I will not avoid the Saturday flight.By making a single entry for each weekday except Saturday, entering WEEK followed by the day number, I can achieve my objective, but all these flights will stay parked for a whole week after completing their return leg.I am sure there must be a better way?Stamatis

After adding a control tower and a number of parking spaces to a previously non-towered airport, I started FS2002 Pro and allowed it to do it's re-indexing. I then used t-tools and AI Traffic and discovered that this little out of the way airport in Pennsylvania was now receiving lots of Moony Bravo traffic from Mongolia. Is there any logic used by FS2002 in assigning what aircraft come from where to a specific airport? I have noticed other oddities too like Piper Cherokies flying from Ontario to KABE.

Am I correct in assuming that I can transfer a custom AI configuration from one instance of FS2002 to another by copying the one file traffic.bgl over? (I know that I will need to ensure that the AI aircraft all appear in the new instance too, in the identical form as in the original, and as referenced by aircraft.txt).ThanksBruce.
