Hey all!I have totally ripped all AI out of FS2k2, & reinstalled everything manually. I corrected all the missing aircraft, I also corrected the incorrect flight levels through AITM. I then attempted to correct the incorrect flight times reported by AITM. I let it do its thing, said they are all repaired.I save the new flightplan.txt file & recompile. I then decompile with the newly installed flightplan.txt, & run it through AITM for errors, all are gone, BUT!!! the time issues. & there are LOTS of them! So, I either need to know how to correct these manually, or why AITM is not correcting them, so I can get them fixed, because I am missing a LOT of …

I have a fair number of flight plans, mainly internal UK flights, installed. All work fine except at Liverpool [EGGP]. I tried to install the Easyjet flight plans. The compliation etc. worked as it should but the flights just do not show up. The Afcad file provides the correct parking gates, AITM has a timetable of about 150 flights scheduled but they don't appear. I used AITM to analyse the plans and no errors were found - all seems to be as it should.The odd thing is that at Luton Airport, Easyjet's second UK hub of operation, all is fine.I am at a loss - anyone got any ideas?Bud

I have been using AITM with great enjoyment and have used the hepl section often.However in the TIPS section it states "Assign airlines to regions and the Global section and not only to a country".How is this done? What tool do you use?Thanks

I use AFCAD and AITM to manipulate my AI traffic, but I seem to be having a problem getting cargo aircraft to work properly. Currently I have a timetable in AITM that has two cargo aircraft arriving in the mornings and departing in late afternoon. The object being to have them sitting at the cargo area all day. The schedule is as follows:Aircraft #1 Arrives KMAF from KSTL at 5:44, Departs KMAF for KSTL at 17:00Aircraft #2 Arrives KMAF from KMEM at 6:30, Departs KMAF for KMEM at 18:00Looks good on paper, but in reality the aircraft do not show up in the day, there are only making an appearance at night and sit overnight.All of my other aircraft in the flightplan work as th…

I have been using a great freeware airport for FS 2002, LaGuardia in NYC, which replicated the airport just about right.The problem is that the AI Traffic uses jetways and aprons not where they are supposed to, The AI traffic taxis on the grass and turns off the concrete onto the grass.I think this happens also with my Simflyers Newark airport.Can I easily change where the traffic moves without changing the airport configuration?

OK guys I'm completely new to this TTools so I want to get off on the right foot here. I have heard/read that which directory the following files are installed is important too their operation especially regarding the Aiports.txt, Aircraft.txt and Flightplans.txt.TTools, AITraffic, AITraffic Mover and AFCAD.Which is bestTheir own respective folders under Program Files?Their own respective folders under FS2002 orInstalled in the FS2002/SceneDB/ATC/Scenery folder.Thanks for the suggestions.Vern

Get AI aircraft to vacate the runway faster? Anyplace that has any real level of traffic (BOS, ATL, LGA...) where the planes are using the same runway- I have ORD set up to take traffic of on differing runways for each overlay so that I do not get a massive buildup of departures. Based on my last visit there, where we were #1 for takeoff on 9L after a very short taxi from the UAL terminal.Is it a matter of adding noes on teh runway to get this to happen?TIA,Tim

hello out there!i have this little issue that is bothering me regarding Boston's airport.all traffic takes off and lands on runway 15L. i want arrivals to come in and land at runway 22R (while continuing to take-off using 15L). i closed both ends of the 15L/33R runway for landings but the ATC still tells me to come in using 15L.what if anything can be done about this?

Hello - I'm an active user of both TTools and afcad. I've recently experimented with the use of AFCAD overlays. My problem is at some overlay airports, after about 10 minutes into flight sim, MSFS "freezes" and I get an error message that says there's been a failure in GDI.EXE, which is a Windows Graphic device program. Does anyone know why AFCAD may cause this error? I've never gotten this error before - it seems to be a problem associated with overlays - I don't get it at non-overlay airports.

Hi all:just as a heads-up: today I uploaded my AFCAD/flight plan package for British Columbia; the file name is bc_afcad.zip. The AFCAD files and flight plans are more or less the usual stuff but people might be interested in having a look at the how-to part of adding several freeware GA aircraft to your AI roster/GA Traffic Maker. Also, the documentation contains my current state of knowledge about how to set up AFCAD files and flight plans in areas with steep terrain. HiMany of you haven't probably heard about this comercial scenery. It's contains the most important airports from Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia Ecuador etc.. The sceneries are very good but it seems there no good afcads files for them. I was wondering if anyone here new if i could find them.. for example for Caracas, Bogota, Lima etc.. Thanks

Can someone point me to a down and dirty faq on ttools?I want to get more NWA AI, project ai can't get a release package together, and I really don't have a lot of time to learn ttools, but I guess that's what I have to do.I read the documentation that came with it, and left scratching my head.......

HiI've been designing an afcad for SVMI. As this is my local airport i know exactly what kind of planes land there so i'm trying to make them park right. So for example, i make one gate for each kind of plane type, and several of the same type for the most common planes. I try doing this, assigning each gate the radius of the plane i wahnt to park on that gate. I checked the radius of each type using AITM . But when i load the airport, i see that the planes didn't respect any of the rules, and just one of them parked exactly where i wanted. I understand that each plane parks at the smalles gate that fits it's radius. But maybe i'm wrong with this. Can someone explain me w…

As far as of now I am a newbie trying to understand how things can work with Traffic Tools by using AI Traffic by Helge Haaland. The problem I am having today is I rec'd "pop up" error message that says: Run-time eror '5' Invalid Prodecures call or argument.I don't recall that kind of error message before but, what I did was importing the API. file into Traffic.bgl and I could not continue even I have tried different methods. Hi: I just started installing AI aircraft at my local airport and everything works fine except the lear jet lands AWFULLY hard, but makes it to its assigned parking gate. I have made this landing with the same default plane with no problems. ( the landing strip is 4500') Is there something in the config. or air. files that I can tweek to make this airplane land a lot more smoothly or do I have to change to a slower aircraft? I've tried importing several different airports with no success. I've tried AFCAD versions 1.3.2, 1.3.1, and 1.1 in that order all with the same result. AFCAD and the airport import seem to go off without a hitch, but when i try to run FS, after rebuilding the scenery db it trieds to "building indexes for...." scenery or something. Everytime it stops at exactly 16% and crashes to the desktop. I can get FS running again by replacing the affected .bgl file with its .ORIGINAL countertpart, but I want to know why i cant import any airports. i have lee swordy ttool and i have install like in the readme says but it still not function! i have made something wrong?

I'm using Windows XP Pro, and had to install FS2002 to C: and then move it to another partition manually. I found 4 keys in the registry pertaining to its location and edited them, but I'm getting an "unable to find FS2002" error when trying to run the compiler. Any ideas?

I have redone 5 local airports using Airport for Windows, AFCAD, TTools, and Gmax. On two of these airports, if I fly in, the aircraft on the ground are "floating" 3-6 feet above the tarmac. On the other three the a/c are fine and reside "on" the tarmac. If I use WORLD/GOTO AIRPORT to get to the airports the aircraft are OK on all 5 airports. In addition, if an a/c which is "floating" becomes activated on a flightplan, it immediatedly "drops" to the ground and proceeds corectly on its way to the runway.I have carefully checked the AFCAD files, the Airport for Windows information and the scenery.cfg files for all the airports and as far as I can tell everything is corr…

Hi all,i've been trying to figure out how to prevent 2/3/4 planes on approach at once, creating many GA's and sometimes planes getting stuck on the rwy. Unless there's already a way to completely fix this(i've look in about every forum and so far it looks like everyone is just about as puzzled by this as myself) I have an idea and i have no idea if it would work but would like to hear your thoughts about it.
