Lacking the artisitc talent and programs to paint airplanes, I was wondering if someone could be so kind and paint a Skyway, The Midwest Express Connection, texture for the PAI 1900D. I'm currently using Mike Stone's gmax 1900D but I'd like to free up some ram and replace them with fps friendlier planes.

hey everybody im new in this stuff. is there any way i can get some software where i can change the scenery. my hometown airport has changed since FS2002 was created and i want to modify it. in AfCAD you cannot change the scenery. Please reply if you know of any free ware.Matt

Can somebody please tell me (or where to find) what the exact way is to deal with the parking places in AFCAD AITM etc.I have read some info in the forums; but none are very clear and sometimes not working at all...i.ewhat are the sizes for the aicrafttypes?how do you create a special parking place for cargo or military?how do you create a special place for a certain aircraft, where no other aircraft will staythank you in advancebert www.worldoffs.com

Hi GuysMost of my PAI aircraft land about halfway down the runway with the result that they have to taxi to the end of the runway to take a taxiway.Is there any way to configure the aircraft to land right on the numbers or nearabout.Thnxszorro3012

I just installed FS2002 on a new computer and ran TTOOLS 1.3.3 to create an "airports.txt" file. I then ran the CollectAirports utility to create an "airports.txt" file. I did this to try to create a good "base" file to have on hand. I then compared a few of the airports and there are slight differences in the entries. The differences are usually in the "N" part of the location.My question... which is more accurate?Thanks!

Hello allJust wondering whether anyone can help with the following.Basically, some of my AI flights won't land. They just approach, retract gear & simply overfly the runway - then raise gear - & keep going; they're quite high too.I use my own TTools created AI flight plans with Chong Kezheng's 'Seven Overlay Heathrow Airport' plans (through AFCAD). I have MyTraffic, which substanially increases the number of AI aircraft. Here's the problem:At the big airports KATL, KDFW, KLAX, etc (I'll concentrate on the US)there are so many arrivals that most of the time approach never gets around to giving me a handoff to tower and them I'm screwed.I've gone into the AFCAD files for KATL and KA2L (for example) and successful changed the ground and tower frequencies so that the noth runways have different freq's from the south runways. This helps alleviate some of the radio congestion. But, in the AFCAD communications screen, the frequencies that you can assign for Approach and Departure don't seem to do anything. No matter wh…

hey all!I deleted EVERYTHING from by Traffic.bgl file, except for the actual flights I downloaded from ProjectAI. I installed Air Canada, Delta, Delta Express, US Airways, SouthWest, and a few others that I know for a fact originate out of KBNA (Nashville) for their first flight of the day. So I go to 4am local time, and wait. All I have there for aircraft are SWA, & 1 US Air. No Delta, No United, nothing else.I Decompiled with TTools, & the Delta plans are in the bgl file, the aircraft are there, but no flights.Any ideas?**Oh... I do have AI Traffic set to 100% in FS**

I have attached the AFCAD file I created in case some helpful person will have a look and tell me whats wrong.I have created an AFCAD file for my hometown airport NZWK. I have added ATIS, TOWER, and GROUND frequencies. I have added the new data to FS2002 in the usual manner.I have created several flightplans from NZWK to other major airports that I know have atc running. The AI flights show up in sim but dissapear before departure. Inbound flights terminate about 20 miles out. I can see them coming with AI viewer for fs2002 and can go to chase view on them. Just got through watching dual runway ops at KATL. Aircraft taxing down to the two inner runways for take off. At the same time, dual apporaches were happening on the two outer runways. Downloaded Bill Molony's 8 overlay AFCAD file. Split PAI Detla ops between KAT1 and KAT5. Used yRoute's split feature to select by aircraft number, ie AC#2122. Yroute showed twenty-four PAI Delta aircraft, so I placed twelve on each overlay.I do have a question. While monitoring ground, when aircraft would ask for parking, ground would ony give then "general aviation parking." B-17s as AI! seeing as I am having luck with questions I am going to ask again. I have some B-17 AIs and despite the age of the model, they show great in FS (props don't turn though), They taxi great and go fine up until revving the engines for takeoff, then just nose dive and don't go anywhere. Hi Folks,after a quick search in this forum and reading the afcad manual, I still have one question:I created some taxiways for a amall airport that by ms default only had a runway (and no AI at all). I managed to get some AI traffic operating as well (taxiways, tower, frequencies etc.).Since afcad ony offered me the "blank" or "rwy01/19" options for taxiway naming, I chose "blank" for taxiway segments between nodes not being part of the runway and "rwy01/19" for segments directly part of the runway.I real world, atc on bigger airports assign a command like "taxi via A2,B2,C3, D" naming individual segments. How can I name my taxiways in a similar way? I am not reluctant f…

Is there any existing traffic holes that people know about at KLAX and YSSY? Starting a flight at these airports, no aircraft load. If I start a John Wayne and slew to KLAX the airport show up. I have similar results at Sydney YSSY (None at load, slewing to airport aircraft show up at gates). Is there a work around or fix the initial load issue.Keep the Blue Side UP!Jeff

Now I know that the whole AI thing was new in FS2002 so we have to expect one or two problems (which hopefully will be tackled in the next version....) but this one is now really bugging me because it begins to make a bit of a mockery of all the more dense AI flight plans that result in a fair bit of traffic movement around the taxiways.What is happening is that traffic is being given the message 'caution hold position - other traffic' and that's the last they ever hear. Long after the 'other traffic' has moved away they are still left hanging until, in one case a 777 taxying to the gate which had to hold for a taxying Baron, eventually disappeared.I've noticed it particu…

I cannot seem to find a solution to stopping this error message in aitm12. It shows up "aircraft range limit reached 0nm-0nm"I am very new to creating AI, but it seems that because of the error the aircraft doesn't show in fs2002 when loaded.I use mostly project AI aircraft. one of the aircraft that causes this is the a340 cathay pacific, but there are others too.I have search but no answers yet. didn't want to ask two unrelated questions in one post so...now that is probably trivial to some of you but i'm a novice....I saw some DL's titled Rafcad, after installing these files i could see no difference in AI behaviour (maybe because i don't know what to look for).could someone tell me where am I going wrong (or what should I expect in the first place).

Hi All,i am finding that alot of my AI flights are repeated!I have done Tools / Analyse / Duplicate! in AITMIt brings up all my KLM, Virgin and Swiss Air flight!What do i do with them?Do i delete them?Will this only delete the duplicate?I have found this feature by accident in AITM and although i have looked in the supporting readme there is no reference on how to use it!Your help is appreciated!Daren:-rotor

Hi folks. I just recently got into playing around with TTools and AFCAD, and would like to invite you all to try out a new utility I've just finished creating. I've called it the GA Traffic Maker, and as of this evening it's on release 1.0. This program, intended to fill up otherwise empty airports with at least a minimum of GA traffic (after using AFCAD to add "missing" control towers) will randomly generate simple 2-leg, weekly IFR flight plans for any airport (or AFCAD overlay code) listed in the Airports.txt file to any other airport within a selectable radius.
