Flightplan problem

Featured Replies

Hi guysI've got a prob with the following flightplan:AC#32,SQ2,100%,WEEK,IFR,0/16:10,@1/00:45,220,F,0231,YSSY,1/03:10,@1/10:00,310,F,0232,WSSS,1/16:10,@2/00:45,220,F,0231,YSSY,2/03:10,@2/10:00,310,F,0232,WSSS,2/16:10,@3/00:45,220,F,0231,YSSY,3/03:10,@3/10:00,310,F,0232,WSSS,3/16:10,@4/00:45,220,F,0231,YSSY,4/03:10,@4/10:00,310,F,0232,WSSS,4/16:10,@5/00:45,220,F,0231,YSSY,5/03:10,@5/10:00,310,F,0232,WSSS,5/16:10,@6/00:45,220,F,0231,YSSY,6/03:10,@6/10:00,310,F,0232,WSSS,6/16:10,@0/00:45,220,F,0231,YSSY,0/03:10,@0/10:00,310,F,0232,WSSSWhat's happening is that when I go to YSSY (on any day of the week) to watch my first flight of the day arrive (at 20:10) - obviously many hours before this flight arrives - the aircraft just flies overhead YSSY & continues on at it's cruising altitude. So it shouldn't be there at this time.I've got a feeling that it may've something to do with Saturday's flight - only the flightplan's last leg can crossover from the last day of the week (6/) to the first day of the (next) week (0/), right? So if that's the case, then the Saturday leg from WSSS to YSSY is invalid, yeah? How do I overcome this so that the plane doesn't turn up at the wrong time of each day? Any help would be great! CheersJosh

First, all of the 0/ flight plans should be at the beginning of the line (not some at the end), although Ttools is supposed to fix that when it compiles it.Second, you are aware that these times are GMT, so you must use that to look for your aircraft (you can set to a specific GMT time in the World/Time & Season menu).Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Hi TomThanks for the reply. The 2nd point you raise is not the prob. The 1st point I don't quite get. Given that I'm trying to create a daily schedule, the 6/ flight will crossover into 0/ (using GMT of course) but according to the TTools readme this is allowed just for the final leg of the plan.So how do I create the 6/ & 0/ flights so that the 6/ flight crosses over into 0/ for the final leg of the plan?CheersJosh

look at your weekly schedule again, the last leg at the end of reads:....0/03:10,@0/10:00,310,F,0232,WSSSso appearantly this flight starts on the '0' day already (and not on the '6' day)So put this flight in the front of your schedule as it is the first departing flight on a Sunday.Good luck!Frank

Hey FrankMany thanks for your reply & apologies for my late one.I tried what you suggested & it flies like a dream!! (I still left the last leg at the end but just copied & pasted the last leg to the beginning of the plan).Thx again - you've put an end to a major headache! :-beerchugJosh
