I have noticed that when an AI aircraft taxi along a straight line, it will still slow down substantially when approaching a node, even though it will not turn at that node but continue straight on.My question is, do any of the various speed entry "windows" in Taxispeed control this "node deceleration" while moving in a straight line?Stamatis

I posted this question on the general forum but didn't get a response. Here is my problem:I want to create an overlay airport using Afcad. However, I'm having a slight problem. I created an overlay using the example within the Afcad help files to create an overlay for KLAX. I followed the instructions to the letter, and tested the new overlaid airport in FS2002. Everything appeared to be fine. Then, I went to add the new airport in Traffic Tools so as to create flights using the new overlay. Hi, I just uploaded a gmax 727-200 (dal727ai.zip). Does anyone know where any AI cargo flight plans might be found? I'm looking for FedEx, UPS, Emery, TNT, or any others. I've found a few AI suitable aircraft, but no flight plans.I've looked at all the sites I can think of with no luck. The World AI plans by Ian Webber include some, but those are included for effect and are not based on actual schedules. I'd like to start experimenting with adjusting gate sizes and aircraft radius settings that will hopefully "force" cargo aircraft into cargo ramp parking spaces, but I'd like to have some real flight plans to work with. Greetings...I just uninstalled PAI from my machine, and I am attempting to get the MSFS-generic AI back. I found the backup "traffic.bgl", and renamed it. This gave me back my general aviation planes, but not the airline traffic.Is there something I am missing?!-Greg

Is there any way to delete airports created in AFCAD? After having installed Simflyers KIAD I've now two different KIADs with two different bgl files. Now AI dont know where to go and I've to different KIAD in airport selection screen.Thanks, TOBY

Hey everyone. For the last week, I have been adding a bunch of the ProjectAI files (flight plans auto installs) and all went fine. I wanted to have more flights from airlines that were not offered so I downloaded the World AI-2 file and installed as the readme stated. All went fine as far as aircraft are concerned - however, no quite so well with the airports.When I copied and pasted the World AI-2 airports.txt file into the existing one, there were of course duplicates. At first, I just copied over my existing file but when compiling it told me that cetain airports were missing for the Project AI aircraft. HI allWas wondering if anybody else has this problem. When opening KBGM with TTools (either version) I notice that KBGM has no gates,taxiways or runways. If I make them, the program says the file has been saved. But after re-indexing then reopening the airport, nothing has changed. It is as if the airport file were read-only. But that is not the case. Other airports work just fine.Warren

I just installed XP and this never happened when I was using TTools in Win98SE. After double clicking on the compiler, it just quits in the middle of doing it's thing and disappears. I never get a 'press ENTER to contiue setup'. I can tell it isn't working when I restart FS2K2....any help would truly be appreciated.

There have been several repaints of a CRJ 100 by FSPainter offered lately in the library. All of them give credit to FSPainter as the aircraft designer, but none of them say where to get the original aircraft. Where can I find FSPainter? Thanks,Ray

Is there anyway to use the program "AI Traffic" to chnage the airports for new overlays?I have installed the Overlays for Toronto (CYYZ) and I am trying to figure out the easiest way to change the gates (destinations) of some airines to use the overlays. However, when I go into "AI Traffic" I only see the original airport. Can I add YYZ2 somehow?Also, if I change the destination airport to YYZ2 - do I have to change or add the voicepack?

I can only get 96 Aircraft using TTOOLS. I have just upgraded my PC and am now using XP.On my other system (using w98) I was able to get up to 300 Aircraft.What is the problem? Can anyone help?

Sorry for the acronym soup.I am just enabling the standard PAI aircraft and flightplans, and added George Dorkofikis's LGAV airport so I could watch the Olympic aircraft. I then attempted to import and save Felix Hippmann's afcad file. This appeared to import and save correctly, but when I re-opened LGAV in afcad to check that all was well, the display was blank, and centred at about 0 degrees N, 0 degrees W, rather than the correct location.I then tried Panos Georgotas's afcad files: these seemed to load and save ok, and show up correctly when the airport is reloaded, but I notice I have now 2 listings for LGAV when I run afcad.A check on the traffic showed lots of ai…

I am having some weird behavior of Virgin Atlantic aircraft at Heathrow airport. When I go there all the Virgin Atlantic are standing with thir nose stuck in the ground. British Airways however are normal. Anyone else having this problem. i have tried uninstalling the Virgin Atlantic Project Ai setup and reinstalling, but the results are the same.

Hi all. I'm looking for the method to:1- Modify the fight dynamics of an a/c by importing those of an other similar a/c. Hi, I downloaded a flight plan for Hapag Lloyd airlines from the PAI website and also their Hapag airlines installer. I know Hapag uses airport in Hanover, Germany so I downloaded and installed extra gates. O.k. I fired up fs2002 and went to germany but there were not many planes there. I thought that when you have gates and flight plans for airports and airlines, your airport would be packed with planes? If I was to change some of the AI default MD-83s into 737-400s with some other skins of real planes, will that be a problem? Are the flight specs for MD-83s the same as 737-400s? I do not want to replace a MD-83 with a 737-400 and have it fall out of the sky because it is out of fuel. :)I've only found a few MD-83 repaints that I want to use, but I have a quite a few 737-400s.Thanks,Craig
