Hi there, Some one could help me, if possible?I'm changing the SimFlyers airports sceneries, and yesterday I took some carefull attention to the behaviour of AI aircraft, because with the Philadelphia Airport done with almost all the gates (with AFCAD 1.22), the airport was almost full with Delta, US air and others aircrafts. (Plans from Project AI. What a great job from them)starting for example at 10:30 local time, in 5 minutes I was having about 8 to 12 aircrafts lined up on the taxiway waiting clearence for take off. Pilot Voice 7 in FS2K2 has some scrambled files. The phrases for Cathay, China Southern, Citrus and Chautauqua are all mixed up. The only way to fix this that I've found is to use the Voice decompiler and Voice SDK as is done to add Southwest to the voice pack. Decompile the voice file as described in the John Taylor instructions, and then go into the appropriate Pilot folder and rename the files correctly. MS chose to use A-J in the voice pack but 0-9 in the FS2K2 program, and I think they mismatched them, so Pilot 7 may not be in folder PilotH, but look around. Have fun.

I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced trouble running Traffic Tools 1.2 under WIN XP PRO?My program sometimes wont run, I will get a crash notice on the screen with a error message. At which point in order to get it to compile/decompile I have use the compatibility part (properties in WIN XP) and choose to run it under WIN 2000. Then it works, but sometimes for only for a while. Then I have to switch back to normal WIN XP mode. Take last night, I was trying to compile my new list of aircraft and TTools said that it couldn't find any aircraft above AC#150. But once I switched the compiler back from running in compatibility mode under WIN 2000 to running unde…

I closed RWY 28R at KSFO, forcing takeoffs onto 28L, and landings onto 28R.Traffic appears to be routed accordingly, but incoming traffic (landings to 28R) appear to be landing short, into San Fran Bay.I've dramatically decreased my traffic, and added parking with AFCAD, but most seem to e hitting the "drink".Any experience with this one?

Hi All,with the new version of AFCAD, it is now possible (or at least configure) to select certain Rw for Landing or Take Off only. I am using several downloaded AFCAD modified airports that enable dual runways. First, let me say I am thoroughly enjoying these modifications. One of the things I noticed was what weather may or may not do to the takeoff and landing configuration of the airport. It seems if the wind speed isn't set above ~10kts, you may not get the takeoff and landing configuration you wanted.I tested this by stationing myself at a convenient location at the airport using the "Top-Down View" (CTRL-S) and adjusting the altitude to see the entire airport. I tune the tower and ground frequencies into the two radios, select Both, and watch the departing and approaching aircraft.Starting …

It seems that Project AI has shut down. That's too bad. PAI was meeting a definite need. In any case I would like to thank the hardworking members of the group for their outstanding efforts.

I just uploaded a package to both the FlightSim and AVSIM libraries that shows how to use Blimp Defender as an AI Aircraft.Not sure how long it takes at AVSIM but there is usually a day or two delay at FlightSim. When I run AIPatch.exe I get a small window, where I can see only some of the "windows" where one enters his preferred taxi speeds, and none of the program "buttons", which I think must be at the bottom of the window.However, I can find no way to maximize the window to full so that all is visible.I have attached a screenshot.Any clues?Stamatis

Hi, maybe someone has better experiences with AI...I've downloaded and installed the WORLD TRAFFIC AI file and it works very well but it seems to exist a problem in FS2002:all of the world traffic flights start at GMT time. And when I start a flight for example at Frankfurt (EDDF) at 6:00 AM GMT there's no aircraft on the taxiway to the runway or waiting for T/O clearance at the runway. All the flights from 5:00 GMT have not departured - all of them want to get their clearance and then a huge snake of aircraft is taxiing to the rwy...Is that a problem in FS2002? It's really a problem to get your own clearance because of this huge amount of requests...Can anyone help?Chris

Lee,Would it be possible the change the aircraft number to be able to accept text.One problem I have when trying to keep pace with the various aircraft available is updating the aircraft.txt file and still keeping some logical order.For the reg part of TTools I in fact use a form of airline,type so for a British Airways B737 I would start the file as AC#222,BAW737 etc.If I could change this so it became the aircraft type then it would have some benefits. i.e. my file might start as BAW737,GDOCO etc. Also if people using a similar idea swapped files they would not need to make lots of changes to the flightplans.txt file.Just a thought for you all.Rgds Ron:-beerchug

The other day when PAI was up I also downloaded the Aircraft files. I then unzipped them and and attempted to run TTOOLS on these 3 files. I was having problems. Does anyone know the correct way to incorporate the files you get from PAI using TTOOLS?-P

I'm using AFCAD to open two runway at the airports. ATC is telling me to go to this runway, but that runway is not the active one. For example, at jfk ATC tell me to go to runway 31R for takeoff, but they are takeoff and landing at 31L

Is anyone working on a new AFCAD file for the great new La Guardia scenery which was uploaded a few days ago by Shehryar Ansari? If anyone is, could you upload it? Otherwise, I will start to work on one as soon as I get some time and upload it.

Hi All,Just wondering if it is possible to have a taxi way in which ac can only travel in one direction.Why i ask is that at TAPA there are only 2 entrance/ exits to get to the runway and planes have to backtrack to T/O.Now the prob is that when an ac has just landed, and one is queued for T/O, they bump nose to nose and then this clogs up the whole airport. So i think the only slution is to make one taxiway an exit and one an entrance to the runway.Is this possible?anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.Regards,Professa

I have set-up some AI aircraft and ATC at an airport that had neither (3CK - Chicago/Lake In The Hills). The AI traffic stick to the taxi-ways and the parking/gates are ok, but they don't take-off on the runway. I looked at the airport using AFCAD v1.1 and the path the runway path is in the right place but the AI a/c still don't use it. Hi, I have question in regards to AI and TTools. I think I know what AI does and what TTools does. I'm just a little confused in which order. I read about flight plans and so forth. I see AI flight plans alredy made up in the library and Afcad files also made up. I have downloaded a couple of the Afcad files. Question: After afcad is set up and I have imported the airport, where does TTools come in to play? Or do I go to TTools first then go to afcad and set up my airport? What a useful tool!But, it is only useable on my pc using small fonts. Because I run my desktop at 1280 x 1024 I prefer to use Large Fonts.Most of the program's dialog box is not visible at this setting.Anyone else getting this?Chris
