Perhaps I missed this in an earlier post. I have altered the European NW afd file by installing AFCAD files of different sceneries, and the original FS2002 file was saved. Now I have removed a specific scenery from the European NW afd file. How does one removed the associated AFCAD file only for that specific scenery without affecting any others? Thanks

Hi all, I just finished a Spirit Airlines (NK/NKS) MD80 repaint with new paint scheme that was introduced recently. MD80 model is ProjectAI property so I cannot upload a/c. Hopefully PAI will have site up and running again soon that if nobody else has painted this airlines it might be available for download from PAI. I will try to repaint the default MD83 that came with FS2002 and then I could upload just the textures(?). Will have to ask someone form PAI first. Complete actual NK schedule (31 a/c) just finished with daily flights instead of weekly. ALL a/c will return to first city they departed that morning. This is my first post in the TTOOLS forum. I just finished my first project for Huntsville International Airport. Getting all the AI planes to show up were successful. One minor detail is that upon departure, the engines startup then the plane disappears, instead of taxiing out and takeoff.How is this part accomplished?Except for the terminal area which was customized, the original FS2002 scenery is being used.Brent Hebert/PFG

I created my first AFCAD airport from scratch tonight. The parking and taxiways seem okay, but the aircraft get stuck going on to the runway. I looked in the manual, and the nodes are within limits. There's about 120 ft between the hold short and centerline of the runway, and about 25 ft between the hold short and edge of runway. There is also a blue node 70 ft behind the hold short. Could someone please advise me?

ATC is telling me to go to this runway, but that runway is not the active one. For example, at jfk ATC tell me to go to runway 31R for takeoff, but they are takeoff and landing at 31L

Hi Folks,Little bit of help please.I recently added a Hawk as an AI aircraft and its works OK except that on landing it appears to hit the runway too hard and as a result it then disappears. I found another hawk and tried that and it landed OK but being a non GMAX aircraft it displayed no landing gear. I then renamed and copied the air file as well as the aircraft.cfg file expecting it to work, but it still crashed on the runway.Anyone know what I need to do now please.MTIARgds Ron

My first posts and i'm they're for asking for help!! I have been using AI Traffic program but found that it didn't do what i asked it to do all the time. So i have been editing the FlightPlan.txt.AC#37,N00005,75%,6Hr,VFR,12:00:00,13:15:00,100,F,1010,EGHD,13:45:20,15:00:20,100,F,1011,EGLCThis is from London City (EGLC) to my home town Plymouth (EGHD) and return. I worked out that 12:00:00 the aircraft is at take-off at London City and at 13:45:20 is it landing at Plymouth. I can't find the aircraft at either of the other times. Can anyone help??

Hi! I was wondering if there was a utility to debug (remove the duplicate flights) before compiling the traffic.bgl? The reason why I ask is because some of the AI flight plans at Avsim are duplicates. Thank you for your time. Julian

Just saw in the library, AI Speed v1.0 is out (by Andy Robinson). It comes with a manual and 2 programs. One to change the speeds definitely, one to change it on the fly while FS is running (to find the best value). It can change 5 speeds: straight taxi, tight turn, tight turn #2, wide turn, wide turn #2 (see manual). Sounds good to me. Gonna try it in a min. I'm new to AI editing, think I've done everything right, but have the following question based on this flight plan I created:AC#37,N35971,50%,4Hr,IFR,00:30:00,00:35:40,350,F,9460,KSFO,02:15:00,02:20:40,370,F,9461,KATLWhen I compiled the plan, it shows my departure time from ATL as 00:30, even though I set the time as 20:30(GMT). Also, you'll notice the compiled plan shows an arrival time at SFO of 00:35. Obviously the trip takes more than :35 minutes - I read that all times are shown in GMT. What am I doing wrong? Well so I was sitting there adding gates and connecting them, then all of a sudden the program won't allow me to connect them anymore... WHY???Well I tried to delete NODES and TAXIWAYS which are useless anyhow thinking that maybe I exceded limit of number of Nodes or something... the only thing this allowed me is to connect a Gate to an existing Node, still could not have place new Nodes.Now we are not talking here about really complex airports with tons of Nodes just KSDF or KCLE I was modifing.OK well KSDF has currently 50 gates and no more really can be added this one has a lot of Nodes indeedbutKCLE has 26 Gates and it doesn't allow me to add anymore, that is I can no…

Before I go through the long process of installing a whole load of new aircraft to assign to AI flightplans (and therefore change my AI assignments) can someone inform us what sort of effect Project AI aircraft have on FPS compare with, say, the default aircraft and POSKY's G-MAX models. Presumably there is a FPS big saving.ThanksMike

I have created parking spots at an airport using AFCAD and connected them directly to a taxiway. When I contact ground for taxi instructions they just assign me to the runway without the "via taxiway xx". What am I missing? I double checked and the nodes are connected to the taxiway and to the parking spots and the taxiway is continuous - no breaks. Can anyone offer a suggestion?Sorry if this is repetitious but I searched the forum and couldn't find a similar question. I just downloaded AI Traffic and have created to AI flights, one using the default C182RG and the other is a plane i downloaded off the internet. On the downloaded one, the landing gear won't show when it is needed, it flys ok and does what i programmed it to do but no landing gear?Anyone have any suggestions, or some info on why this happens (much appreciated!)?

I am wondering, I made a ficticious scenery. I added my airport correctly to the airport.txt file. I recompiled it. when I go to y route it does not recognize my airport name even thought it shows up on the add to area of the program. My question is, do I need that bgl and AFD file in a specific place or is it ok in my scenery folder that I have for all my add on scenerys? It is recognized of course in the airport look up when in Fs program. This is the only thing holding me up at this time. Thanks for any help.Frank.

I checked both the AVSIM and flightsim.com file libraries for the file name ttools.zip, but came up blank.Can anybody tell me if this filename is correct, and what the current version number is? HiI do like your tools and it is very nice. i have done lots of airport so far. With the released of the AITM by Th Molitor, I have seen that aircraft radius were in meters. (like in FS2002).Is it possible for you to make a very little update on your program so tht we can use meters to create Parking spots.It will then be easier for us....:-) Greetings Minos
