    For some reason, I do not have the information on how to write the code for multiple SceneryObjects,for a single bgl. I have no problem generating single objects on a single bgl. But for the life of me I cannot seem to enter the correct code to include multiple Objects! If some one would show me in XML, or Notepad I would be forever in your debt. Thank you Ken

    Hi guys. I'd like to ask a question regarding the default.xml file. I'm afraid I'm a bit of a noob at working with scenery in fsx, but I'll describe my issue and what I'm trying to do as briefly as I can.The issue: Basically I think there's a serious bug in the autogen system, much as there was in fs9.0 before the 9.1 fix, a memory leak or somesuch.I use a track-ir exclusively when I fly and I've noticed a serious problem creeping up. If I start a flight with normal or heavy autogen, everything is fairly smooth for the first few seconds to a minute, and then as I continue to pan my view around over a city, the panning becomes more and more stuttery over the next 10 minute…

    I was looking at the cvx bgl for the US colorado river (1719/1720) and see areas in tmfViewer where there are GPS polys and no corresponding hydro polys (see 33.790631/-115.213755).     I have an allegedly goog TIF file. View it in three different programs and it looks good and lat/lon is good.I compile it in resample. Then view the BGL and it comes out red. At the moment i'm trying to get to grips with FS Architect.I would like to know which airport creation software i should be using with FS2004.     This question pertains to FS9 hangers with animated doors made in Gmax and processed using CAT.I'm using distance as the condition, applied to the trigger which is the nav freq. When distance condition is met, the animation will play forward if the freq condition is met, and then play backwards if I change the freq. However, if the distance and freq conditions are met (door has opened), and I move the plane so that the distance condition is no longer met but the freq condition still is, the animation goes directly to the static position rather than playing backwards.     Hey guys,I'm still sticking with FS9 and my home airport, KGFK, has always bothered me because of a landclass issue. When you load it up on runway 35L, there is a hangar that is completly engulfed in a hill. This is supposed to be flat, there are no hills even close to that airport, much less in the state of North Dakota. I'd be grateful if anyone could flatten this airport completely and possible add 2 jetways where gate 1 & 2 are located. If anything at all, just to flatten the airport would be awesome.     FSXI saw the message sequence on the need to convert from NAD83 to WGS84 or shp2vec will not work. I believe that the road file I have is NAD83 since everything from that source is NAD83. I can look and alter the files contents with a program called MapEdit. However, it will not save in a projection different from the original. ERDAS Viewfinder does not read Shape files. Global Mapper, that does everything, costs $270!! Is there a program that will re-project shape files from NAD83 to WGS84?Dick Boley near 5G8

    I've written code in AutoAsm to create the new-style roads, traffic and shorelines for FSX (thanks for the help, guys). But I'm unable to select different shoreline textures which are listed in terrain.cfg. I need to know how to find the guid to place in the dbf file.Roads are no problem because the road textures listed in terrain.cfg have guid entries.Under (texture.n), 'Terrain Cinfiguration File' describes the parameters that appear in terrain.cfg. The third paramater is 'guid'. Problem is, the third parameter in the shoreline textures in terrain.cfg is not the guid but a 'LegacyID', for example 'LegacyId=1029' In fact the shoreline entries do not have guid values.So m…

    Howdy y'all...Guess I'm the dummy of the week, but I've got a problem that has driven me to my wits end (actually more of a short putt than a drive). I am just getting my feet wet with GMAX so you will hopefully bear with me. I have designed a small hangar and textured it following the scenery tutorial that covers fs2k2 and fs2k4. I exported the file to fs9addon sceneryscenery, and bglcomp'ed it, winding up with the appropriate .bgl. Then using image tool I mipped and dxt1'ed my texture files and saved them to fs9addon scenerytexture. I had to "adjust" the coordinates in the xml to put the D*** thing where I wanted it.     I have created the following exclude file:<?xml version="1.0"?>It compiles just fine with BGLCOMP and creates the following file: KHFY_Exclude.bglI have placed this bgl file in the Addon SceneryScenery folder where my KHFY AFCAD is located.My problem is that nothing seems to be excluded. All of the default scenery still shows up.I have searched the forums, read everything I can find on exclude files and I still at a loss for why this doesn't work.I am using FS2004, AFCAD 2.21.Any ideas? What have I missed.
